I knew Johnny would be back making films. There is no one like him. He is a phenomenal actor as well as a spectacular man. He is loved globally. HE IS JOHNNY DEPP!!!
He never stopped. He officially retired years ago but he had twenty or thirty movies that had not been made yet so he's been working the whole time, for the most part. If you listened to this interview he says he didn't go away he didn't leave. he did it with humor Saying he lives forty five minutes away. But he was working the whole entire time. Films are usually done a few years before we see them. I am an older woman. I am a feminist which just means that I believe women are human beings and deserve the same as anybody else on the planet. People have to stop listening to these bots from the other side of something that happened almost a year ago. There was a mistake made and it's been clear it up legally and i'm sure he's working on it in all the emotional ways obviously look at Him! Johnny never left, It's all just words that the media uses for attention.🪻
Johnny is such a great guy. Hollywood didn’t bring him down, he had to ignore all the people, who had done him wrong. It is so good to see him happy and working again. He is a precious man. I have much respect for Johnny Depp.

I know he has chronic anxiety and he's not on medication. You could hear the nervousness at the beginning and his inability to form really good sentences. I started to cry for him knowing what that feels like. But then the humor started coming out even though it might be lost in the french culture. But all in all they're gonna have to learn what he's like While he's honestly being himself. He looks great he sounds great.. I wish you would have stuck to the diet that jeff beck's wife had him working on in fact even a little more strict. Maybe even did Cheat here and there😂. I just want him to be as healthy and happy as he can possibly be.

You can tell he really didn’t want to address Hollywood’s problems. The press conference wasn’t about Hollywood. Thoughtful response. I can’t say I was a fan of JD as I don’t watch movies, but the trial made me a big fan.

You do realize that these foreign entities filter through Hollywood, right? He’s doing an independent foreign film, so it’s a bit different but Hollywood does foreign business also. I don’t think he’ll do anymore American films. He can do them outside of Hollywood in America, but he’ll make less money. but I don’t think he’ll choose to do so. It might take a while for the American public to catch on.

Thank you for uploading JD's interview. He's as real, irreverent, deep, and funny as he's been from the first interview of him I ever saw...back in the 90's. I cried seeing a portion of the reported 7 minute standing ovation. His answers in this interview had me cycling through anger at some of the stupid, sleazy reporters questions, crying at the thoughtfulness of his answers, and laugher at his brilliant responses to all of the questions asked...most especially the ones where he was asked about the film!
I've enjoyed his films over the years and yet, didn't become a "fan" until the trial. His integrity, humbleness, honesty, humor, loyalty, and dignity remains his superpower!

I think it was good in a way. The MSM is always reporting Johnny said this, or Johnny said that or Johnny feels this way, or Johnny feels that way. I am so happy he is working in Europe which is very different from Hollywood, and in my opinions films such as this are far superior to the usual, formulaic, generally trite Hollywood productions.

Johnny is Johnny wherever he goes. He presents himself the same here as he did in court. He's being authentic and genuine. His voice is so soothing and I love his quick and clever wit. I know he's saying things that some people aren't quite catching up to yet. He's alarmingly witty. It's wonderful to see Johnny on screen, where he belongs, living his life to the fullest. He went through so much for this role. He's one of those actors who can reinvent his persona wildly depending on what film, what character. I believe he is one of the best actors in the world and it's great to see him.

I honestly think that’s why he arrived 45 minutes after it started. He knew that as soon as he showed up, all of the questions were going to revolve about his personal life more than the film.
Yes I agree but he did try to keep the questions about the film and he kept referring to the film and all of the people who was there and how they got the film made
I think that the other actors that were there knew that when he appeared that the American and English reporter would be asking him questions about the past year it just shows that these people minds are in the gutter and were not interested in the film they just wanted to ruin JD just because they were made to look and sound idiots
But it was AH who has made them look this way and a lot of papers and magazines are struggling to sell because of their witch hunt of JD
They know that AH is a abuser because her own tapes exposed her and the biggest liar that has been exposed in years they back a bit actress who very few people knew before this case and until she got her hooks in JD no one knew her it has backed fired on the MDM and they don't like being on the receiving end of the stick yes they can give it but not take it
They don't like it because the world has seen how AH has made them look idiots and they are taking it out on JD and his people
Over this case and a few other the people have seen the MSM for what they really are scum
Now I am not saying that they are all like this we have a lot of good decent honest reporters and are decent human being
But with the likes of the rolling stone magazine and a couple of other which are not worth mentioning I think there should be a boycott on them until they employ good honest reporters and print the truth about everyone
If we stop buying them and reading them you will soon see them change or just disappear
It is sad that whoever is running the rolling stone has destroyed it and they seem to hold a grudge against certain celebrities and people and it does not matter what these people do they are put down and these people calls themselves reporters
They can write all the lies they want but most intelligent people have seen through them maybe the likes of AH and her crazy few friends might believe them but she would need to be very careful as these people can turn on you very quickly they have no honer
That's how many Q&A sessions go regardless of the context - most of the questions will be directed at "the most famous person" present. And, given that it will be many questioners only opportunity to ask that individual a question.. you want to ask what you want to ask, not be narrowly focused on the discrete commodity under consideration. Here, all the questions were at least on point, even if they skewed towards background circumstances rather than just the film itself. It seemed fairer and more pertinent than many comments and pieces have intimated.

The “tower of mashed potatoes” was a brilliant phrase.
I watched this in French and again here without the French, He is so unapologetically Johnny and he is phenomenal. He had every question directed at him the moment he arrived and some uncomfortable ones, ones that made me angry for him but he did his utmost best to give the most truthful replies.
He is fully openly himself he was thoughtful to find the words, he was insanely shy, introverted uncomfortable to a degree with what he had to address really. He calls himself a Hillbilly for gods sake he does not say or see himself as the mega movie star he truly is and we see him as.
His voice cracks when he is replying about he boycotting it is pain to him and in a couple of answers, Maiwenn even chips in to reply on a question with him basically praising his use of music in his ear & it was Bach & she was impressed with him, he seems so appreciative of being stood up for and so careful even now even with this to use not menacing or hurtful words about what was done to him said about him, he uses metaphors about not being wanted there & still puts in the humor he always spoke of except remember he always said "Humor at some point has to come into the pain, pain must be dealt with "humor" and so you see him try the humor and you know immediately he is masking pain.
It is abominable and unforgivable what was done to him and then persecuted and metastasized via media and Hollywood, it is disgusting and morally bankrupt. He should be begged to come back, adored and apologized to in spades.... to hear him say "they say hi how are you when the subtext what's underneath is I hate you" It is truly heartbreaking and beyond comprehension to try even an iota to understand the depths of pain this kind human has been through and dragged through for years and years after having been exploited, used, mauled, abused, hit, hurt, lied to, set up, gas lit, degraded, demeaned by a piece of actual human excrement she the queen of filth with her leech bottom feeder friends and even words family despicable corrosive, disgusting.
