Really good video Ash, great video and something we all need. Glad you talked bout using a tripod as I find it better to setup with. Great video and keep going! Your doing great! :)
Hi Ash. I am old enough to be your Grandad at 66 and could use some advice please! I mounted the cam on my serious camera tripod so NO SHAKE whatsoever. But what was super weird was when I went live on youtube was this. Shortly after my streaming began the whole picture I was projecting started jumping crazily and erratically horizontally. Like I was physically shaking the camera! My MOFI 4500 router was producing lots of great connection and was only about 2 ft away. Speedtest.net says downloads are 60.83 and uploads are 26.58 mbps. My signal rarely drops either. So I dont understand what my viewers called the severe jumping jacks. The stream went for an hour and by the end of it the erratic jumping began again. I moved the router about 5 feet away from the Camera in case that was the issue but I am only guessing. Thanks!
Just so you know, my dad is 67 and I am turning 30 lol so nope, you are not old enough to be my grand father, I just look younger haha. I use a hardwired connection for my internet, I never use WIFI especially with a download of 60MBPS , I have internet 100 and even that is hardwired. I am watching your live stream on the replay now and I don't find it was very shaky actually, but the Logitech itself will only go so far. I use it for meetings but I don't for live streams anymore because it's not my preferred quality. Sorry for the late reply, I am barely on this channel anymore.
@@ConsistentAsh Thanks so much for connecting. I edited out all of the jumping stuff. My router is plugged directly into the computer if that helps. Hopefully the next one goes better.
We have one of these and just picked up 2 920’s….one of which constantly lags so not sure if it’s the hub not supplying enough power or the MacBook Pro…updates!? Great vid
So I mainly still use my C922 for zoom meetings , WebEx and stuff. I haven't used it much since recently I haven't needed it for work. Likely it does need the update. Did you download the software to it ?
Hi Ash. I've been searching for a simple, inexpensive but good camera to start up my youtube channel. I want to do all sorts of vids and topics. Is the c922 good for this? Just simply me talking (showing myself too) and of course editing in music and sometimes video clips on the movies I will be reviewing?
Hey Jason! For the price of it , you can't really go wrong but you'd be stuck in place since it has to be plugged into a computer source all the time , compared to a camera or even your cell phone you can make videos anywhere. The software does make certain features much better , if you do use this as a camera source , I'd suggest getting a seperate mic since this microphone on this camera source is too low. Hope this helps!
@@jwbaccaro It all depends if you have something or a software to record the audio into. Let's say I do a live stream with that camera , I use that and my blue yeti for audio but that's an expensive mic , something like a cheap lav mic will work , I have a recent video about it, but it depends what you can plug that mic into to record
It was plenty clear (at least on my phone) even though the color was a little off. When I get a little free time I’m planning to try and build my own webcam. I currently have more ideas than time so I have no idea when that will happen. Thanks for the review. Have a great day and be safe out there!
Love the idea of the "Build my own webcam" I could never do something like that haha, yeah the camera itself was alright but for live streaming I no longer use it. Stay safe as well David!
Sorry for the late reply, for some reason your comment was "held for review" Yeah it's a plug and play. You can download the software from Logitech for more capabilities though.
Very good question but my answer is likely no because I don't believe the TV can read it. You can attach it to a laptop , and then HDMI it to a tv to make the screen bigger though

Thanks Dave , yeah I use tripods for all my gear , helps a lot for easy content shooting. Thanks for supporting!

Great review. Going to be looking for a web cam soon so this helped.
Thanks so much for coming by and watching. I truly appreciate it!

@@ConsistentAsh Thanks Ash. For starters I will have just one workspace for vids. And about the separate mic, which would you recommend?

@@jwbaccaro Let me know if you need more help!
Another great video and yes you are consistent. Still using my phone had to return the camera i purchase. Keep going.
Thank you so much! Phones work if it's not broken why fix it right ?
I have been using my Canon SL3 to record interviews on Streamyard, it's an easy setup.
Oh nice! Happy to hear that considering I'll be using Streamyard for when I start live streams too 🙂
I use the Logitech C910 that I've had for 9 years. It's still going strong but I might upgrade to the C920 or C922 soon.
Yeah with webcams they last a long time , most of the time I just use the camera built into my laptop lol

I cannot download any software in my working laptop.

Nice sharing
Thank you! I enjoyed making this video and happy you stopped by to check it out
Not into live streams yet but this was a great review! 🤗 keep going!
Thank you so much , tried to make it short and sweet and to the point haha
Great review. Thanks Ash
Thanks for watching and supporting Elias! Appreciate it
The livestream was great! I told John we could go 24 hours
Hahaha well we know one of us can 🤣
This is great, I got ripped off on my webcam. Great video, and information. Now I need to learn chapters and I’ll be set.
Hahah maybe I'll do video about chapters next. Thanks for stopping by and always showing support Pips!
thanks Ash
You're very welcome!
Can we attach this to LG smart tv?

@@prasanjit83 Oh that's awesome!
Oh! I’m lovely! That’s what Ashley said at the beginning
Hahah you are lovely!
Your SO Underated!
Hahah , I truly appreciate that. Very kind of you to say! Maybe one day I'll pick up but either way I love the support so much!
Maybe if I get a webcam, I could see my bald 4K
Hahaha well my live stream was in 720 so even 1080 would of worked well for you lol
I've got one but i hardly ever use it!!
I use mine all the time for work , first time in a stream but I was 720p not 1080p
👍
Thank you! Always appreciate you watching and supporting

Wonder how my shiny, bald head would look in 4K

I have to wait a week? That’s too long
