@09Wolf Gaming She/He was joking. But here’s my opinion on art: Most of the art you see, is only skill-based. But art is more than a pretty picture and skills. Most of the „artists“ don‘t understand.
I'll be the annoying know-it-all here and tell you: screens have a limited number of colors they can display (quite a large number, but limited; there's a great video by Tom Scott on how that affects dark videos) therefore we have likely not seen what these colors are really like in this video and a digital artist using that color is not creating a true representation of how that paint actually looks in real life. Especially with paint behaving like that yellow that in real life is creating some tone differences and depth within a single brush stroke...
Ok but can you imagine how the creator felt recreating these colors? Like he could see the colors but never recreate them at first so frustration and when he achieve the colors, can you imagine how satisfying it would feel?
The rarest blue is actually from the stained glass in the Cathedral of Notre Dame. The French phrase “Sacrebleu” means sacred blue referencing the glass. No one to this day has been able to recreate the color. Just a cool fun fact I seem to know for some reason

Hmm i know that you can copy shade of paint, but I am not sure if way how paint behaves can be copied digitally. I never tried digital art so I am not sure. It will be hard co copy for example the pee paint. One stroke has actually two shades in it - lighter and darker yelllow, this gives paint more deepness and structure. Maybe there is some kind of program which can replicate it
I'm not trying to insult artists in any way but the digital stylist seems like a more of vegan option without the need to harm a living thing to obtain a colour. Urine hunting seems a bit unsanitary, it's pandemic times after all
@@lumberjackal2462 That is true in some cases, but everyone has there own weak and strong points. Digital could be a strong point to anyone, and traditional a weak point. “these colours will never exist again”
digital drawing apps: hold my stylus
xd
And yes, it is true, that you don't have to harm a living thing. Tbh, I find both have there pros and cons, and they shouldnt be judged because one seems easier in one persons eyes
@@adder5518 Amen to that brother man; I just wish I had more experience with the digital side of things; during the plague life I'm more interested with new food creations. That's some impressive India yellow, if only my bananas were that yellow that fast
What a cool video idea, loved it! I just watched a couple of your video's and you earned yourself a new subscriber. I love how much variation there is in your video's. Keep up the good work! 💕

It’s a replica tho but yea

This was posted on my birthday 🥺 thank you
Rae: It comes from a precious stone that is mined in..
Me: MINECRAFT!
Rae: Afghanistan.
Me: Oh i knew that... *awkward*
Man, she really has an eye for colors... I’m like “yep they look the same”
And she’s like “ this one is more earthy. And this one looks more synthetic”
I think its because of the camera, so it looks different in real life but looks the same in camera
Also an artist can usually tell differences between colors pretty easily.
it’s hard to think of something funny when you’re this early
Yes
Sali 45 lol
The way she said lapis
*your not alone*
I love the Indian Yellow! It looks amazing!!

The whole "pinkest pink" and vantablack rivalry is amazing. Supposedly anyone is able to get their hands on pinkest pink whereas the creator of vantablack doesnt allow anybody else to use it. Look it up its renaissance levels of drama and pettiness.
Edit: pinkest pink is only about $5!!
E.A. Pori all of Semple’s stuff is amazing and inexpensive! He’s doing such great work for making quality art supplies available for anyone. Check out diamond dust- the worlds most glittery glitter! One of my favorite things he’s made, though I don’t trust myself to handle it
The worst part is that it isnt the creator of vanta that trademarked it. This asshole named anish Kapoor (dude who made the Chicago bean) bought all rights to it.
@@alanaberaud2281 technically he isn't supposed to. But he literally did get his hands on it at least once, theres a post he made where he stuck his middle finger in a jar of pinkest pink and then flipped off the camera 😅 you are right though
@@screamingscarlette yeah. Originally it was meant as an engineering product. Until good old anish bought the product and rights from the creators
