I can attest to this. I recently bought Triumph of Bacchus from Argos and in the box, was a sample of Danae. This is a very good scent. What interesting is that, on my skin, the opening and dry down smelled like to different scents! It's like a caterpillar to a butterfly. Nonetheless, I will be picking up this fragrance, once its available in a full bottle.
Great review. You got my interest with your comparison to Chanel Allure homme sport eau extreme. I like Triumph of Bacchus but to me it can be a bit much at times and it's more humid where I live, would you say this one is better or at least fresher in a sense?

Not at all Danaë Is Citus heavy and it’s creamy with a nice patchouli Adonis has elegant rose and Raspberry and vanilla totally different

Absolutely it’s so gorgeous from top to bottom it’s one of my favorites in my Collection it is fresher and has so much depth the patchouli is stunning
