Mahoraga's adaptation is a PASSIVE ABILITY. The CT is 10S. None of the Shikigami have CTs, but they do have PASSIVE ABILITIES such as lighting, adaptation, RCT, etc.
if you're implying that the CT of all the ten shadows is the ten shadows technique, then thats an even better argument for ISOH since the shikigami themselves are a technique, and other shikigami in the series have CT, like judgeman, moon dredge, and garuda, so it's not impossible that mahoragas adaptation is a technique (it's referred to multiple times as a technique) judgeman is the best example of this because he is the user of the CT in higuramas deadly sentencing domain
SPOILERS I personally lean towards the Shikigami having innate cursed techniques rather than passive abilities, mainly because as an example Sukuna was able to use Mahoragas wheel (adaption) against Gojo, along with other shikigami techniques (Like the water from the elephant for example), or even Junpei with his Shikigami being specially known for its poison property almost akin to a technique. Of course one could argue this doesn’t count, but also consider curses for example, as high tier curses have innate cursed techniques that usually go along with what they represent, even domain expansion. If both Humans and Curses can have innate CTs I don’t think there’s anything particularly wrong into thinking that Shikigami can also have innate CT within their abilities. Overall it’s super vague, and I think that vagueness might even be used in the final fight (with the remaining unknown Shikigami), but that’s where my opiniones go
As the strongest devil chainsaw man fought the fraud makima, denji began eating makima and makima shrunk back in fear but then denji said "stand proud makima, you're strong"
gojo was very explicitly using the time from his mini-domain expansion to kill the transfigured humans because his main objective was to save as many regular people as possible, which is literally just stated outright in the manga and anime. there was no chance of that if the disaster curses squad was also attacking. same reason he killed them all hand-to-hand instead of just blasting everybody, because they were all mixed in with a crowd of normal humans. nothing there was a threat to gojo personally but not even he could just effortlessly get rid of every enemy at once without it costing even more human lives. i don't understand how "gojo wasn't a complete monster about collateral damage" leaves a sour taste in anybody's mouth lmao
because its their agenda. they claim Gojo is lonely, weak, powerless god, when he literally goes out of his way to save innocent human lives every time.
it's more along the llne of why didn't he go for the disaster curses first right after stunning everyone with infinite void. He can kill them easily and without his cursed technique too. due to UV they can't fight back, and the transfigured humans are nowhere near the same ballpark of a threat against regular people. it's plot convenience
@@1OtherMr While it's true the Disaster Curses are more dangerous, they litteraly have no reason to attack humans if Gojo is not there to witness it, while transfigured humans attack anything on sight. It makes sense for Gojo to assume this, especially since we know it's pretty much true, as Jogo, Mahito and Choso barely attack civilians once Gojo is sealed and instead focus on their respective targets.
@@francesco1409 Gojo should also know that special grades can kill people simply as collateral damage, the potential deaths a special grade can cause are so much higher, it's the reason they're even special grades in the first place. Transfigured humans can't expand a domain, or wipe out entire city blocks like Jogo can. Dagon alone killed who knows how many people. People were going to die, gojo knew this. The disaster curses weren't going to sit idly by, he also knew this. Since a single disaster curse can kill more than every transfigured human combined, had gojo taken 30 out of those 299 seconds to kill the disaster curses instead, the death toll in shibyua would've been significantly lower. this is not debatable.
The cheeks clapping scene is funny cuz we're shown the same kinda animation technique a few times where we see the pov of a character and something happens so fast that they aren't able to see it. In this instance, we see Todo from Mahito's pov and he simply moves faster than Mahito can see em
What people need to understand is that Gojo's 0.2 Second DE was never about the disaster curses, if it was, he would've just done the full expansion and killed all the civilians while nuking the disaster's brains, GG. It was about saving people. it was about proving what Jujutsu Sorcery is about, protecting the weak. Was it a good call? Well considering he didn't know his body-jacked best friend was around the corner with the anti-gojo cube that he hasn't used since the heian era, yeah I think it was a pretty good call. The whole point of their plan was that no one in Jujutsu society could've predicted what was about to happen, thats why it was an incident, that's why no one was prepared and why two special-grades were out of the country. Considering the limited notice, it's amazing Yuki even made it before Uraume turned everyone into popsicles.
It was certainly a bad call. Nothing stopped gojo from lining them up and shooting a little purple at them then moving onto the small fries. For one, they were unlikely to ever start moving again. They were functionally out of the fight already. And two, even if they did somehow recover the same time as mahito who was the fastest disaster curse to recover, he’d have killed MOST of them by then and been able to clean up the rest with less casualties.
I mean if u mix a relatively complex systems and powers like the ones displayed in JJK with the average anime fan who struggle to interpret the most simple basic of concepts, even basic logic, u get what we have been experiencing lately with ppl misinterpreting absolutely every aspect of the show.
Especially since Gege likes explaining the power system in weird ways (like how he likes to overcomplicate explanations for abilities like infinity), bending the rules a tad for certain circumstances and sprinkling rules throughout the series and it’s basically a recipe for disaster
@MB-eh2kp nah he explained them pretty well its just reading comprehension devil that a lot of you guys deal with also the whole ability was explained at once a single time he never explained it in bits and pieces either you didn't read or your gaslighting these people and yourself into thinking that. Literally just go back and reread it but I bet you won't
@@Six-bw3irhiguruma is quite literally the most recent example of this when it came to the rules of confiscation, and Gege definitely overexplains stuff like hakari’s idle death gamble and Gojo’s infinity (both extremely easy concepts to understand that he overcomplicates the explanation to, but in Gege’s defense Pachinko Machines are more common in Japan which leads to confusion for foreigners) I’m not trying to diss Gege or anything (except maybe for the overexplanation thing since Gege himself has admitted he made mistakes for the math of Gojo’s ability in which a math expert corrected it for him) that’s literally just how he writes, integrating explanations of the power system with the pacing of the story
@MB-eh2kp in higarumas case it was a rules gege didn't explain. There was an in universe reason for it being higaruma was sure how his domain worked he said himself he wasn't even sure if it would be effective on sukuna or even if it would give him the death penalty. Also in that case it worked for the better because that cursed tool is enough to wipe a lot of the verse being a very powerful very fast lighting strike, I don't mean to imply it's undodgable because that would be a no limits falacy but no one has every dodged it even kashimo, though kashimo is lighting guy so it does no damage.
4:05 A comment from someone with a small amount of Japanese knowledge The phrase "cursed technique" is really specific in Japanese because the Japanese word "Jujutsushiki" is not a real word, and is a compound word made up by Gege Sukuna uses "Noryoku" when referring to Mahoraga's adaptation, meaning "ability". He does not say "Jujutushiki". So you do have a pretty good chance of being right here. Furthermore, just logically speaking, cursed techniques can be applied in multiple different ways, whereas Mahoraga's adaptation is a very specific capability it has.
he just wanted her gone for dramatic effect and a closed story but jump saw potential in it and okay'd it so he wanted to bring her back...simple as that and that's fine.
The sad thing is this guy's explanation was completely invalid and wrong. He's just rambling nonsense, thinking he can cover up his own mistake. It is NOT Makora. That is NOT what gege named Mahoraga, he is the "Divine General Mahoraga".
@@Player20XX if i'm right, they call it makora because the japanese phonetics are different from the english phonetics, so the name of the divine general is said differently i might just be babbling and yapping tho
To be fair, we didn't know that the positive energy from RCT was deadly to curses until the Shibuya arc. And the first few times we see Sukuna using RCT, a first-time reader/watcher doesn't have much idea about what's going on with the power system in general, aside from negative emotion = energy, and barriers are a thing. We do learn early on that he's using a different kind of healing than cursed spirits, but I just assumed that was because he was in Yuji's body. For a while I thought Sukuna was a human sorcerer who had become a cursed spirit, and was then sealed into 20 cursed obejcts made from his fingers because he was too strong to exorcise. I thought he just still remembered how to do RCT from his human days. Honestly it wasn't that long ago it clicked in my brain that "King of Curses" doesn't mean "King of Cursed Spirits," it means "King of Cursed Techniques, Objects, Anything." But yeah in hindsight, it seems obvious knowing what I know now
Yuki states that without an external aid, Yuta wouldn't be able to copy cursed techniques. So the way I see it >Yuta was always gonna have a shikigami like Rika, because it's part of the package for his CT. >Rika's death caused her soul to manifest within this Shikigami, along with those cursed emotions. >Now the shikigami remains, as it would've been anyway thanks to Yuta's CT, but some of her personality remains. The fact that she's a part of Yuta's CT makes her a Shikigami, not a Cursed Spirit.
If you're ever going to make another video like this: How did Gojo teleport Inumaki and Panda in JJK 0? He placed some magical circle on the ground, but never really used this again I believe.
About Rika, my thoughts on it go like this. The Rika we see now, post the the events of JJK 0 is the hollow exterior, skin or simply vessel that previously contained the human Rika's soul. It was Yuta, who admits to having cursed Rika at her death, also ended up trapping her soul in a vessel as a result. We learn from Gojo that he is a descendant of a powerful figure from a powerful sorcerer family, thus explaining how Yuta might have been able to curse Rika without having known about curses or sorcerer's at that point. His inner potential and lineage made it possible. And as we've learnt, lineage and heritage matter a lot in Jujutsu as most of you're ability comes from innate talent. As for why the shell/skin/vessel for storage that is Rika would still have a personality, I think Yuta subconsciously, and later consciously chose to have it retain Rika's quirks or disposition. Or perhaps it was just a consequence of Rika's soul having been attached to the vessel for such a long time, that her traits and disposition passed on naturally to the vessel. Rika's soul still did depart though. And the vessel no longer houses her soul. As for why the vessel would look like that, I think is a question that can be left to the subconscious of Yuta's mind. Throughout the series, only three people have been implied to have the ability to change a soul's form or outward appearance, with only Mahito having been shown to explicity be capable of doing just that through his cursed technique, Idle Transfiguration. The other two would be Geto and Fake Geto, through Uzumaki, which could allow them to combine several hundreds of cursed spirits and their energy, possibly allowing them to transform them into a different form.
One issue i have is Psuedo-Geto talking how he can share vision with his CS's but Geto in Hidden Inventory mentions he cant share the vision of his shikigami like Mei Mei can do with her crows
A couple explanations. One is that Kenny is just way way better at sorcery than geto and it’s been shown several times so this is another case. The second is that Kenny’s “surveillance” spirits specifically have this ability. He doesn’t just say he has random spirits, he calls them surveillance spirits in particular. Might be a special type of spirit that can share vision that geto simply didn’t have during hidden inventory.
I have heard many people, close friends included, talk about not only many of these points but especially their confusion around jjk's power system as a whole and how 'badly explained' and 'confusing' it is, from reverse cursed technique to Gojo's limitless and everything in between. It'd be a monumental task, but seeing a video that is the epicenter for an explanation on how the various power systems in JJK work would be elite. amazing content either way ^^
Reading JJKs explanation is honestly pretty tedious, but in reality the abilities are really simple. 6 eyes lets you perceive CE better and the infamous ⚡Hakari Domain Page⚡ is literally pointless because apart from the first use, its just a "roll the dice, if you are lucky you become inmortal for 4 minutes and 11 seconds"

just to feed my smartass ego let me add one more black flash increasing the strength of the attack for 2.5 times is a miss translation, its not 25 times or anything ITS THE STRENGTH FOR THE ATTACK POWERED UP BY 2.5 TIMES so normally lets say your attack has a power of 10000, according to the wrong translation it would be 25k times with a black flash. but canonically it wouldnt be 10k X 2.5, it would be 10k multiplied by 15k, AKA 150 MILLION ATTACK POWER thats why yuji's black flash literally destroyed hanami's hands while hitting his/her(im not gonna say his or her im not gonna argue over that again) torso, i was watching and thought like ''if one black flash with 2.5 multiplied power can literally rip the curse apart then how 5 consecutive really powerful punches do nothing?'' and then i learned powered up part now do whatever you want with dis fact
2:30, also, a person doesnt get a CT burnout if they themselves close the domain, or at least that's what it looks like. BEcause if we just take some simple examples, like Gojo first domain, he opened it above water meaning when he closed it he would fall into the water and become wet, except that doesn't happen, he is actually quite dry. We also have the one you showed about Sukuna using his CT on that luck guy, we see that the domain is infact closed because we see that rubble still exist inside of the range, meaning dismantle isn't dismanteling. 7:45, I'm more on the side of Todo someway being part Irish and master at heel clapping
Heyo, was supposed to get this out a lot sooner, but got sick gg. Give me some misconceptions you've got/seen about the series and I'll make sure to include them in the next one.
Again, not a misconception but i don't think people understand how anti-domain techniques work (simple domain, domain amplification, etc.) It would be nice to hear you explain it; i like how you cook
Why do people believe that Mahoraga's performance in the fight in Shibuya is equivalent to that of his fight against Gojo, even though Sukuna was stronger when using the other Shikigami?
heres my take away from the 0.2 sec domain exapsion bit: his role in shibuya was to minimize casualties, so he decided to take out the trasfigured humans first as they were directly attacking humans without gojos interference, in his mind he thought that he couldve taken care of jogo and the rest later.
Nicee I'm glad someone addressed this in a video I'll be sure to share with others. Another misconception I've heard a few times is Sukuna "died" during the heian era then was turned into cursed objects by kenjaku. I know it was previously the general opinion but some still carry it till this day, even after it was recently explained to us by Angel.
Well, im pretty sure angel is referring to Sukuna learning it from being turned into a cursed object first. It’s why we get the whole „he can learn anything by seeing it once“ bit.
@@Orion__no There's really no reason to believe kenjaku did it for him when they always imply the opposite. The most definitive statement was during Kashimos death scene when he asked Sukuna directly why he turned himself into cursed objects. There are many other senarios i can mention but i don't want to bore you. unless it's a translation error (which is a bit rare fron TCB) then it looks like he did it himself.
I think the reason some ppl dont know basic things is because they watch the show as it airs. Meaning, 1 episode a week with a year or two between seasons, never rewatching. Add to that, they dont necessarily think about what they're watching
I swear it was explicitly stated that Yuta stored / put a part of Rika into his ring after the events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0? And now he can use her for like 5m or whatever?
Current rika is a shikigami left as a “gift” from the old rika who was a conscious spirit of a girl. New one is just a shikigami that manifests when the ring is on.
I feel mahito couldve escaped had he went a different route, I mean him trying to transfigure kenjaku in getos body was dumb, if nanami can resist it at full power (even if it was on accident) then what made him think someone smarter, with thousands of years of experience, a special grade body, and knowledge on the soul/idle tranfiguration couldnt resist his technique when he was on deaths door with massively reduced output, mahito should have just stalled for as long as he could to try and recover some cursed energy while having the domain amplification binding vow active, and then if geto tried to use his technique on him should it start to work on mahito regardless of DA because of the power gap and mahitos fatigue, he couldve activated simple domain, even try to limit its range to increase defense, granted this would only last so long, but considering soon every jujutsu sorcerer left would soon be attacking kenny this might give mahito enough leg room to weasel his way out, maybe when choso attacks he can turn himself into a needle like projectile while using the rest of his cursed energy as a propellant, or even wait till yuki got there after all she had some interest in a cursed spirit that can interact with souls she may have wanted to capture mahito for resaerch purposes
@@1b3d5 valid point, at the same time, his learning curve and ingenuity and disgustingly high, like learning domain expansion in his first real fight, or using 0.2 after experiencing it once, so I feel like he has less room for that excuse
@@theonethatgotaway3475 Then you tell me how Mahito is gonna get out of a situation where he has 0 transfigured humans and a broken leg. Is Mr. Brain gonna sit there and watch Mahito limp away? In that state ANY of the Brains special grade cursed spirits could catch Mr. Bad Touch.
@@AmbivalentRay fair but its not about trying to run away or attack half cocked like he did in the anime or what your suggesting he do, its waiting for the right moment, his soul was too damaged to morph, but he clearly still had the CE to use his technique so theres nothing to suggest he couldnt wait for his reserves to refill more while the brain babbeled on to yuji about his plan and the world to come, in the meantime use domain amp to make it much harder for him to simply absorb mahito, and a simple domain if he tries to perform a strong technique, he had plenty of people to wait for as a distraction, he could also heal his foot with cursed energy, not as effective as IT but his soul is too damaged, theres also finding a way to bond/ submit to someone, probably only yuji, which is a very risky and odd plan but we know getos CT cant absorb curses that belong to someone already, like rika or the inventory curse, so if he can basically make someone his master before the brain can, and then he has to kill them first, yuji is probably his only option, because the brain doesnt really have the option to kill yuji let alone when sukuna is within him, whats stopping yuji/sukuna from killing him at this point idk but its an option, that or waiting, for either his CT to be useable again or a distraction like yuki/choso
I feel his learning curve didn't play much of a role here as he was scared shitless from yuji and in situations like these it is actually very realistic that someone does whatever comes in their mind even if they could've done it better, situations like require nerve and mental calmness more than learning ability
The japanese text in manga is Makora though....? The engllish translation which is translated by OTHERS AND NOT GEGE thought it meant Mahoraga so the english translation became MAHORAGA instead of the actual MAKORA. Mahoraga sounds cooler though so nobody really gives 2 shits.
Haruta likely wasnt hit by the domain but instead a regular petty slash from Sukuna. I only say this because Haruta was only cut once and Makora's wheel wasnt getting damaged. It is open for interpretation that's my two cents
It’s most likely that the domain was deactivated by the time Haruta was killed. I’ve always interpreted the scene like this and never really considered an alternative interpretation, seemed obvious the domain had been finished by then.
well he can choose what to not target, but I also think he simply can't use multiple ct's at once, and because of this, whichever one he uses is the one experiencing burn out, not the other. Like weapons in a videogame

I headcanon that Transfigure boy touching his abs was enough of a clap for boogie woogie to activate & "Rika" is both, because that seems way cooler than one or the other
The reason that sukuna keeps being called a curse is because he is labelled in some translations as "The Strongest of All Curses" instead of the king of curses which references him as a curse. He is not.
I think another major misconception in JJK in about Souls, idle transfiguration, and Rct, mainly what i’ve been hearing from is that… “RCT can’t heal damage from Idol Transfiguration(IT), therefore RCT can’t heal damaged to the soul” because Jogo stated that not even sukuna’s RCT could heal IT, but IT was always reshape the soul, not damage it. You could damage the soul by simply seeing the outline of it. “Damage from The Soul-Split Katana can’t be healed by RCT” When I heard this I had no idea where people even got that idea from, because I’ve always thought it was a negate-durability weapon. But apparently Maki asks if sukuna could heal from the soul split. But I personally think that line is really stupid because that question was already answered. Nayoa was cut in half by it in Ch. 195 but was completely fine a later. So yeah…
Every time Mahito's soul takes damage his technique isn't able to heal it (only make it look like he's healed), and yet he's still coming back to every fight with a full health bar after recuperating. That alone should tell people that soul damage is healable, at least over time if not immediately. Otherwise, all of the damage his soul has ever taken would be permanent.
@@aldeberan6181we don't know if the damage to Mahito was permanent or not tho? Also souls in jjk may I dunno, grow back after time, but I don't think Rct can heal it. Unless if you maybe apply rct onto your soul, like nanami applied cursed energy on his for protection, but that's just a theory of mine
This comment contains spoilers for JJK chapter 252 The newest chapter all but confirms that damage to the soul cannot be healed unless one can see the outline of their soul, and even then, it's still much more complicated, long and hard to heal than regular wounds.
The only thing we know about soul damage being unhealable is that Mahito and Jogo speculated that it's not possible. We NEVER got confirmation from the narrator that RCT can't heal the soul. We'll have to wait and see for that.
The Cheek Clapping feat was actually probably just a way to show how fast Todo was, as the fight before had a lot of dodging and action take place off screen to show how quick the characters were
Sukuna was able to use his flames with the domain open because a sorcerers cursed technique becomes imbued in the domain. When the domain has a barrier, the CT is imbued in the barrier, but in Sukunas case its in the shrine, we saw that in his fight with Gojo. He had his shrine open and was able to mahoragas wheel on Megumis soul and also domain ampification while his domain was active.
For the mysterious clap, we were watching mahito's perspective. It's very likely we couldn't see the clap cause he didn't see it. With the constraints on the animators, I believe they wanted our imagination to fill in the gaps
honestly good video dude, although my favorite part was *i'm not explaining these because i don't want to spoil anime onlys but be warned this other one has a manga spoiler" kek (also sorry for leaving 3 comments, it would have looked even more god awful to Frankenstein it all together)
The people who still think Sukuna is a cursed spirit are hopeless. Stated at the very beginning that he’s a human and then we get an indirect (still obvious) reminder when he fought the adaptation shikigami
Didn’t they call him a “cursed object” nor a “curse”? Also to be clear, his functionally a human in every way. He’s not made of cursed energy, he has his same human mind, etc.
“YOU CAN SEE IT MAHORAGA! YOU CAN SEE MY CURSE TECHNIC”Sounds just way better then “YOU CAN SEE iT MAKORA! YOU CAN SEE MY CURSE TECHNIC!” And okay the “do you think you can win? Gojo: no!” Is just so funny to imagine
Finally. I'm arguing about "Curses", "Curse Users" and "Cursed Spirits". They only call Sukuna a Curse or King of Curses, not Cursed SPIRIT. Geto was called a Curse in the same way too.
MANGA SPOILERS, VERY MINIMAL: We see in chapter 250 that Yuta uses Dravs technique to fire out little shikigami "rikas", would this mean the "rika" is a shikigami left behind by rika for yuta to use, or is it more like how we also know that the 10 shadows technique users shadows are manifestations of their imagination or how they percieve they would look. could this imply that the mini "rikas" were what yuta percieved them to be like the ten shadows (could this apply to other shikigami users?), and that the gift left behind by rika was a shikigami that would hold onto weapons like the arsenal curse as well as cursed energy and his technique, and this shikigami in yutas mind looks like rika. Or is it the case of something we haven't seen yet?
Warning, I’m going to rant a lot which is completely unrelated to the video One thing I never understand is Gojo 0.2 second domain not him Using it ITS HIM TARGETING THE FODDER MAX GRADE 2 CURSES Yes, it’s not gonna take them months to recover from it like regular humans but like they’re gonna be knocked out for at least an hour focus on the actual speacial grade curses, for example As much as I like choso He should’ve went for him first and then why didn’t he just style on jogo like before Literally sukuna With 15 fingers was able to beat jogo Effortlessly without getting hit, you’re telling me the man that took the equivalent of full Power(he was basically full powered he was 19 fingers, and he ate his original corpse, so that more than made up for the gap in his missing finger) sukuna mahoraga and ten shadows All at once, and almost won, can’t beat all of those special grades effortlessly??? No way in those two weeks he was in the prison realm he went from barely able to handle those other special grades to being able to hang with Multiple high-level threats at once😭 It’s pretty clear Gojo is just retarded and super cocky, and he got so content being the strongest, that like geto said he became delusional and thought he could save anyone at any time because of that decision. Multiple characters die when in reality, he could’ve just went all out from the start. The only difference between those humans dying is humans dying because of Gojo, lack of action or humans dying because of Gojo’s action😭
A big reason why I thought Sukuna was a cursed spirit for a long time, is 1: His appearance of having four arms and that face plate, 2: His title being a lot like Rika's, 3: I thought that he was a human sorcerer and it was implied he was killed without cursed energy somehow and came back as a cursed spirit. I actually read a pretty much all of manga up to the end of the Gojo/Sukuna fight before finding out he was a human lol. Also I personally don't think Mahoraga's adaption is a cursed technique, I kinda figured that all the Shikigami's abilities are intrinsic to them being Shikigami since they are themselves a cursed technique. As a side note I also figured the inverted spear would just unsummon maho coz it would undo the 10S.
How is he human without having his own body ? & with his original body being a corpse? Its only once he inhabits a human vessel that he becomes considered human again but he himself is a spirit.
7:56 I didn't even notice this at all, that's wild It'd be cool if we somehow got a complete version of this scene in the future, but that'll never happen
I think it’s a bit ironic you went on a small tangent about tiktok comments being insanely dumb and then immediately made a mistake. RCT is done by multiplying cursed energy against itself. It doesn’t use double the cursed energy, it uses the same amount squared.
I had this issue with my dnd game with half the players correcting the dm who had never watched jjk on the pronunciation so I sent some Reddit explanation that was 2 lines long and that was the end of it so it is interesting that you mentioned this!
rika's spirit was linked to the curse that yuta made. at the end of jjk 0, yuta freed her spirit, leaving behind the special grade curse that yuta can control like a stand, and it is also stated that "rika" still loves yuta despite not being controlled by rika.
Somebody may have already answered or guessed this, but I'm pretty sure this is how the "Todo cheek clap" went down. Due to Mahito using an open palm, his attack clapped against Todo's torso, allowing boogie woogie to activate. The only thing that makes me doubt this is that boogie woogie require two hands, it was an animation error, or Todo just used his dumpy to activate boogie woogie.
in the scen where todo "claps with his cheeks" or rather in that whole fight theres a theme the editors use where we dont see a characters attack only the after effects because it happens so fast we cant see it

if you're implying that the CT of all the ten shadows is the ten shadows technique, then thats an even better argument for ISOH since the shikigami themselves are a technique, and other shikigami in the series have CT, like judgeman, moon dredge, and garuda, so it's not impossible that mahoragas adaptation is a technique (it's referred to multiple times as a technique) judgeman is the best example of this because he is the user of the CT in higuramas deadly sentencing domain
SPOILERS
I personally lean towards the Shikigami having innate cursed techniques rather than passive abilities, mainly because as an example Sukuna was able to use Mahoragas wheel (adaption) against Gojo, along with other shikigami techniques (Like the water from the elephant for example), or even Junpei with his Shikigami being specially known for its poison property almost akin to a technique.
Overall it’s super vague, and I think that vagueness might even be used in the final fight (with the remaining unknown Shikigami), but that’s where my opiniones go

gojo was very explicitly using the time from his mini-domain expansion to kill the transfigured humans because his main objective was to save as many regular people as possible, which is literally just stated outright in the manga and anime. there was no chance of that if the disaster curses squad was also attacking. same reason he killed them all hand-to-hand instead of just blasting everybody, because they were all mixed in with a crowd of normal humans. nothing there was a threat to gojo personally but not even he could just effortlessly get rid of every enemy at once without it costing even more human lives. i don't understand how "gojo wasn't a complete monster about collateral damage" leaves a sour taste in anybody's mouth lmao
because its their agenda. they claim Gojo is lonely, weak, powerless god, when he literally goes out of his way to save innocent human lives every time.
he was using hand-to-hand because his cursed technique was burnt out, thats why he didn't just teleport everyone out with blue
it's more along the llne of why didn't he go for the disaster curses first right after stunning everyone with infinite void.

BIG RAGA THE OPP STOPA✅
And two, even if they did somehow recover the same time as mahito who was the fastest disaster curse to recover, he’d have killed MOST of them by then and been able to clean up the rest with less casualties.

essentially its so annoying
Especially since Gege likes explaining the power system in weird ways (like how he likes to overcomplicate explanations for abilities like infinity), bending the rules a tad for certain circumstances and sprinkling rules throughout the series and it’s basically a recipe for disaster
@MB-eh2kp nah he explained them pretty well its just reading comprehension devil that a lot of you guys deal with also the whole ability was explained at once a single time he never explained it in bits and pieces either you didn't read or your gaslighting these people and yourself into thinking that. Literally just go back and reread it but I bet you won't
@@Six-bw3irhiguruma is quite literally the most recent example of this when it came to the rules of confiscation, and Gege definitely overexplains stuff like hakari’s idle death gamble and Gojo’s infinity (both extremely easy concepts to understand that he overcomplicates the explanation to, but in Gege’s defense Pachinko Machines are more common in Japan which leads to confusion for foreigners)
I’m not trying to diss Gege or anything (except maybe for the overexplanation thing since Gege himself has admitted he made mistakes for the math of Gojo’s ability in which a math expert corrected it for him) that’s literally just how he writes, integrating explanations of the power system with the pacing of the story

A comment from someone with a small amount of Japanese knowledge
The phrase "cursed technique" is really specific in Japanese because the Japanese word "Jujutsushiki" is not a real word, and is a compound word made up by Gege
Sukuna uses "Noryoku" when referring to Mahoraga's adaptation, meaning "ability". He does not say "Jujutushiki".
So you do have a pretty good chance of being right here.
Furthermore, just logically speaking, cursed techniques can be applied in multiple different ways, whereas Mahoraga's adaptation is a very specific capability it has.
yeah mahoragas adaptation is definitely just an inherent ability he has, just like gojos six eyes.
“Rika” is basically the copy techniques manifestation of rika stored onto the ring, im just shooting here

How people couldn't tell that Sukuna is a human? HE LITERALLY USES RCT. Cursed Spirits cant🙏
He is also stated as the strongest *sorcerer* of heinn era so he is a human
i mean look at him
he's called the "King of Curses" and possess people by having them eat his finger
That does confuse people
To be fair, we didn't know that the positive energy from RCT was deadly to curses until the Shibuya arc. Honestly it wasn't that long ago it clicked in my brain that "King of Curses" doesn't mean "King of Cursed Spirits," it means "King of Cursed Techniques, Objects, Anything." But yeah in hindsight, it seems obvious knowing what I know now
Sukuna isn't human though? He's the same as Tengen, both transceded their humanity due to immortality. Sukuna is an Imaginary Demon God.
Yuki states that without an external aid, Yuta wouldn't be able to copy cursed techniques.
So the way I see it
>Yuta was always gonna have a shikigami like Rika, because it's part of the package for his CT.
If you're ever going to make another video like this:
How did Gojo teleport Inumaki and Panda in JJK 0?
Mahoraga is a word that is appropriately powerful, I'm sticking to it
The biggest misconception that pisses me off is everyone who says yuji is a death painting or yuji his half curse or that kenjaku is a curse
i thought kenny was stated to be a curse, no?
5:41, ez answer, Sukuna would’ve gotten instantly deleted once he though Mahoraga’s blade that are infused with positive energy if he was a curse.
6 eyes lets you perceive CE better and the infamous ⚡Hakari Domain Page⚡ is literally pointless because apart from the first use, its just a "roll the dice, if you are lucky you become inmortal for 4 minutes and 11 seconds"

black flash increasing the strength of the attack for 2.5 times is a miss translation, its not 25 times or anything
ITS THE STRENGTH FOR THE ATTACK POWERED UP BY 2.5 TIMES
so normally lets say your attack has a power of 10000, according to the wrong translation it would be 25k times with a black flash. but canonically it wouldnt be 10k X 2.5, it would be 10k multiplied by 15k, AKA 150 MILLION ATTACK POWER thats why yuji's black flash literally destroyed hanami's hands while hitting his/her(im not gonna say his or her im not gonna argue over that again) torso, i was watching and thought like ''if one black flash with 2.5 multiplied power can literally rip the curse apart then how 5 consecutive really powerful punches do nothing?'' and then i learned powered up part
now do whatever you want with dis fact

Again, not a misconception but i don't think people understand how anti-domain techniques work (simple domain, domain amplification, etc.)
It would be nice to hear you explain it; i like how you cook
@@EmmanuelMarin07ill be doing that next i think.
I think Todo managed to teleport away from mahito because he reinforced his body with cursed energy and mahito's attack turned into a clap

Well, im pretty sure angel is referring to Sukuna learning it from being turned into a cursed object first. It’s why we get the whole „he can learn anything by seeing it once“ bit.
@@Orion__no There's really no reason to believe kenjaku did it for him when they always imply the opposite.

The reason that sukuna keeps being called a curse is because he is labelled in some translations as "The Strongest of All Curses" instead of the king of curses which references him as a curse. He is not.
7:02 this alone also literally resolves the sukuna curse vs human debate
I think another major misconception in JJK in about Souls, idle transfiguration, and Rct, mainly what i’ve been hearing from is that…
“RCT can’t heal damage from Idol Transfiguration(IT), therefore RCT can’t heal damaged to the soul” because Jogo stated that not even sukuna’s RCT could heal IT, but IT was always reshape the soul, not damage it.
This comment contains spoilers for JJK chapter 252
The newest chapter all but confirms that damage to the soul cannot be healed unless one can see the outline of their soul, and even then, it's still much more complicated, long and hard to heal than regular wounds.
He had his shrine open and was able to mahoragas wheel on Megumis soul and also domain ampification while his domain was active.

honestly good video dude, although my favorite part was *i'm not explaining these because i don't want to spoil anime onlys but be warned this other one has a manga spoiler" kek
(also sorry for leaving 3 comments, it would have looked even more god awful to Frankenstein it all together)
The people who still think Sukuna is a cursed spirit are hopeless. Stated at the very beginning that he’s a human and then we get an indirect (still obvious) reminder when he fought the adaptation shikigami
calling mahoraga "makora" is like calling charizard "lizardon" or demon slayer "Kimetsu no Yaiba"
bro said manga spoilers ahead so fast like chill I was some sipping some water brotha lol
Sukuna and gojo can use domains multiple time in one day, hence why he could still use open and dismantle
In the Anime Sukuna is described as “once being a human, but is now a curse with 4 arms.”
Didn’t they call him a “cursed object” nor a “curse”?
Also to be clear, his functionally a human in every way. He’s not made of cursed energy, he has his same human mind, etc.
Calling “Makora” “Mahoraga” is like calling the stand “Sticky Fingers” “Zipper man” 💀
Sukuna Is a cursed object that used to be human
my favorite nerd coming in clutch again.
“YOU CAN SEE IT MAHORAGA! YOU CAN SEE MY CURSE TECHNIC”Sounds just way better then “YOU CAN SEE iT MAKORA! YOU CAN SEE MY CURSE TECHNIC!” And okay the “do you think you can win?
Gojo: no!” Is just so funny to imagine
big raga opp stoppa sound's cooler, and it's objectively better
Death Note OST playing in the background
Wait Mahoraga is like the Katana Man of jujustu kaisen when it comes to its name 💀
thanks for correcting people without sounding like a pompous smartass :D subbed
4:05 during the fight with Maho, Sukuna noticed that his attacks started using cursed energy mid fight, meaning his adaptation isn't a CT
Makora sounds like some American trying to say mahoraga
@@OP._. what are you even talking about
@@OP._. actually, he's 20 cursed objects not a spirit
7:56 I didn't even notice this at all, that's wild
It'd be cool if we somehow got a complete version of this scene in the future, but that'll never happen
I think it’s a bit ironic you went on a small tangent about tiktok comments being insanely dumb and then immediately made a mistake.
RCT is done by multiplying cursed energy against itself. It doesn’t use double the cursed energy, it uses the same amount squared.
I had this issue with my dnd game with half the players correcting the dm who had never watched jjk on the pronunciation so I sent some Reddit explanation that was 2 lines long and that was the end of it so it is interesting that you mentioned this!
rika's spirit was linked to the curse that yuta made. at the end of jjk 0, yuta freed her spirit, leaving behind the special grade curse that yuta can control like a stand, and it is also stated that "rika" still loves yuta despite not being controlled by rika.
wait till bro sees blueray
This guy says Kiririn when he talks about Krillin
Can you do a video on Gege. Who they are, why they’re so mysterious, maybe talk about the fanbook? and just anything else interesting?
Somebody may have already answered or guessed this, but I'm pretty sure this is how the "Todo cheek clap" went down. Due to Mahito using an open palm, his attack clapped against Todo's torso, allowing boogie woogie to activate. The only thing that makes me doubt this is that boogie woogie require two hands, it was an animation error, or Todo just used his dumpy to activate boogie woogie.
in the scen where todo "claps with his cheeks" or rather in that whole fight theres a theme the editors use where we dont see a characters attack only the after effects because it happens so fast we cant see it
Sukuna WAS a human, but then got "reincarnated" as a curse.
Hes still human. Otherwise he‘d die against mahoraga.
@@Orion__no he's in yuji's body. Sukuna even says that he will die in one hit IF he wasn't in yuji's body.
How would someone kill sukuna without curse energy
No, Sukuna is still a human and never died or became a cursed spirit
