Thanks Mike! As a young pre-law student seriously considering going this path, I appreciate you taking the time out to speak on what your job means to you.
I work in corrections and an inmate in one of my housing units told me to advance myself and my education and to look into becoming a criminal defense lawyer and how it’s a very important job in society
Great video Mike, I will say that you come across as a very professional and skilled lawyer. Thanks for the interesting story about your reasons for selecting criminal law.

Hi Mike Mother Father God r here in person 😊
Here's a good reason to become a criminal defense lawyer....to protect people from cops
As well as greedy prosecutors who try to give out max penalty
From a felon who's applying to law school and has spent a good amount of time in the court room as a defendant. 100% why I'm going into Criminal Defense law. The system is incredibly one sided and broken.
kruse please tell me How do I become a criminal?😎
Simple. You just need to identify as one. I identify as a tech billionaire who is now working on something that will change the world as we know it.
People are unhappy as Lawyers because they're only going to Law school because they've been told Doctors and Lawyers are what they have to be. They have no motivation to be a lawyer and get into debt. My goal is to defend against Prosecutors that prey on people for a living.
Am 15 rn any tips to have being a criminal lawyer be a future career
I have a question. I never drank anything. I am on probation and my urine screen had a faded line. My probation officer said it's possible and she said she's sending it to a lab. She put red tape over it and set it in a "freezer". I have not seen a freezer though I don't doubt they have one. Anyway. She didn't put the urine sample in a bag. I didn't sign anything declaring it to be my urine. Is this a legal requirement to have me sign the sample declaring it to be myne? I'm told I have to wait 3 weeks for the results because they have to order more bags. The only thing alcohol passing my lips was to swish mouth wash. They use the newer 15 panel test. They test up to 72 hours so I know they are highly sensitive. Also I'm in Ohio.
My ex (not my child's mother)n my teenage child accused me of child abuse with guns. They caught them committing perjury! Red handed . Instead of charging them! They did nothing n gave me a lite plea sentence of probation! I couldn't believe it. I had no choice to take the plea or else they would go full force n try n put me in jail because one of my guns had no trigger lock.
If you can answer this for me as to why they wouldn't be charged with perjury when caught 100% trying to frame me. They were caught because my daughter accidentally forwarded their conversation history to the social worker . It seems like the courts will protect the accusers at all cost, even when they are caught lying
What other law does you do?
U can there's
Is a paralegal a good way to become a lawyer ?
Try to do a political science major gives the best political background for law school
@zzzz didn't say it was good for the test.
@zzzz It does help just not more than English or philosophy in preparing for the LSAT.
@zzzz I am currently a Law Associate do I stay in this major or do I change to English or philosophy if I want to be a lawyer.
@zzzz Man is not that I like it am looking for something that I will prepare me for my future goals.
