Greetings from Vilnius - Lithuania. I think of myself as an early intermediate in Blender but every time I watch your videos I discover something that is brilliantly simple and super useful. Love the robotic presentation and the pace of this video. Definitely, the best Blender Jewelry-orientated tutorials out there, almost too good to share :D Keep up the good work, I hope your audience grows!
I recently decided I was going to try 3d printing jewelry. I inherited a bunch of casting equipment from my mom, I have a bit of a creative streak (nurtured by her throughout my life), and I'm terminally broke, so this seems like a great life plan, Keeg-wise. I tried playing with Blender a bit, but it's like sitting in the driver's seat of a space shuttle. Sweet, I'm here. Now what? I give up very easily, and I've been bumbling around with Tinkercad ever since. We're talking maybe a month or two, so it's all a very new thing. There's my backstory. I've only watched 2 minutes of this so far and I have some notes. 1. I have no idea what you're doing, but you've done more in 2 minutes than I have "trying to learn Blender on my own", which is a hilarious concept. 2. I know in my bones I will be learning a LOT in the next 15 minutes, and this excites me. I have half a mind to call in sick today. Not gonna, but the temptation exists. 3. Mom was actually a huge fan of All Things Celtic, and this, too, seems like a sign. 4. I have saved this video (and subscribed to the channel), and I am happy.
Fantastic! I have playlist to start from the beginning ua-cam.com/play/PL6Yg5NG3ndsFQ607kA5H-WGhnbjB3YN0E.html My older tutorials are a lot longer, hours long, and then there are other playlists 2022, 2023 and the ongoing 2024
I've read about those modifiers, but it is so helpful to watch over your shoulder as you use them to make an end product, to see how they work together, and learn some workflow steps. Thank you for short - direct pairing videos. I don't use Blender for jewelry, but still find these very helpful !!
hello first of all I wanted to say that you make beautiful tutorials and full of useful advice on the world of jewelry. I wanted to give a useful tip that you may already know but that I have not seen that you have used in some tutorials that I have seen from you. Instead of using the bazier curve you can use the "nurbspath" curve, after on edit just delete all the vertices of the "nurbspath" curve and then just use the function -> "DRAW" on the selection at the top right of EDIT, so simply follow the shape of the curve and draw the curve with the mouse or with the graphic tablet in a simpler and faster way. Thanks again for the wonderful video tutorials you make. I'm learning so much😍
Hello! This is my second tutorial video I've watched in my Blender Journey, I'm trying to do the Triskelion Displace Modifier but every time I add my chosen .png image nothing appears in the Mesh Plane and I've tried deleting and adding a new plane to repeat, nothing changed. I've also tried adding more subdivisions in the vertices and also re-adding all modifiers and choosing my .png Triskelion image but nothing still changes and my Mesh Plane is still just a white square with no symbol appearing over it. Is it something to do with Blender not being able to load my image? Usual the PortableApps version of Blender on my External Drive if that's a factor. I'm a bit frustrated I cannot finish my Celtic Ring when I think I am so close now from watching your video. Any tips to help out? Thanks!
If you think it's a loading problem, then load any other image to check. You very surely have a position/rotation problem, make the displacement on a cube, and use an object for placement instead of global
I used a different image of the exact same symbol from .png to .jpeg from my computer's downloads folder and for some odd reason it worked when I selected a different image...I did not replicate the problem if that was the case. I was raring to move along in the next steps to follow in this tutorial. Thanks though!
Well of course, this is an intermediate tutorial. It would be nice of you to start from the beginning of the serie 3D Jewelry design with Damien Rohrbach and Blender: ua-cam.com/play/PL6Yg5NG3ndsFQ607kA5H-WGhnbjB3YN0E.html

Wooow very useful
Beautiful Ring Sir
Thanks for the amazing video
Yes, of course ua-cam.com/video/PCwct86Zi6I/v-deo.html
Be happy
And celtic! 😄
How come the hole of the ring is deformed when I adjust the top part of the ring.
You need to adjust size BEFORE applying the booleans. Once the booleans are applied, you can't adjust sizes, everything gets deformed.
be happy
be celtic
your tutorials is about 3d design ready to printing or only for render?
I think they are about cooking and playing golf. But I don't know, I've never watched them.
save and be happy 😂😂
