What I really love about Mark and Digger in this scene particularly is that they told Daniel to pay it forward to someone else. Someone who could be Mark and/or Digger, someone who's not. Mark and Digger did not indebt Daniel, but are genuine in helping him without really asking for anything in return for themselves.
Mark was exactly right when he said “”Mike isn’t from around here he doesn’t know our ways, he’s selfish and self centered and only thinks about himself…””

I know a guy like Daniel who drives a semi. 2 people were on fire and he put them out with his extinguisher then came back to work. I saw him on the news and we finally figured it out that it was him.
a fuel tanker was cut off by a teen driver and caught on fire. 2 people were in the tanker
"I had a fire extinguisher in my truck" was his casual response. He said one person was completely on fire and running at him.
tons of Daniels in the world, just be lucky there's still good people around
Truly good and kind people do good things because it feels like the right thing to do in their hearts, not to be able to brag about so they can feel good about them self's.
That really hit me an touched me to my soul.... y'all boys did a good thing

Maybe now another real old boy has come to the front. Daniel is a good man with honor and respect for others, you see it everytime he's on the show. It's still important to many of us Americans living just a bit outside the cities and the law.

You try hauling 100's of lbs of bottles, booze, sugar, equipment, etc. with both hands up there, in the night with rain. In construction, you often make temporary stuff like this until a site gets safer to move around, for the same reason - it's REALLY easy to hurt yourself when you're hauling loads around in awkward conditions. Seems pretty reasonable to prevent serious injury. It's not like they're worried about OSHA - they're worried about the ATF busting them and they view that area as dangerous enough to justify it. However, because of editing, it makes it look like this is right near their still sight. For all we know, it's another 10 miles in the hollars. or w/e.

See if they had just handed him some money then Daniel wouldn’t have taken it. But they brought him some liquor and said “Do whatever you see fit” which basically means “work your contacts and sell it. Pay your bills.” Daniel keeps his pride and Mark and Digger helped a fellow shiner
Mike is the type of guy you should avoid at all cost. No good and rotten to the core. I would not give him the time of day to save him from hell.!
I wouldn’t either he’s showed his true colors more than once… Mikes a selfish pos who only thinks about himself if something’s not benefiting him he don’t want no part of it even if it’s a good friend needing help… But yet he expects people to help him all the time… Just like when Daniel stood by Mark and helped him pay off $7500 dollars to Mark and digger, only to be tossed to the side and stabbed in the back….
