My problem wwith Sony aquiring Kadokawa isn't game related. This aquisition means the censoring & westernization of a huge segment of the anime & manga ecosystem. I couldn't care less about the console war crap, but exporting western ideology to other artistically unique cultures would be an epic tragedy.

I keep my PS5 in an entertainment center that I have added fans to. One to sort of suck out air and help blow in some cooler air. I think it helps a little. My PS4 sounded like an airplane taking off before I did that. So I kept it for my ps5. It was like 5 bucks for the USB plug in fans and like 5 minutes to install on my entertainment center.

A great purchase - it is very difficult to see the difference if you are playing on a smaller monitor 43 inches and below, even on a larger monitor you need to sit closer to appreciate the difference which I refuse to do just for a bit more clarity on some games- frame rates are better for a few games especially Final Fantasy but I only notice a difference in certain sections of the game - playing on a smaller monitor negates many of the reasons to purchase a pro especially when considering price - saving the 300 and purchasing some games or accessories you enjoy will be a better purchase if you are a jumping from a PS4 - unless you have the extra money to burn

Callisto Protocol and all the other games that run at "8K" on the PS5 Pro can't downsample on a 4K TV, because the native res is still lower than 4K, most likely running at 1440p - 1600p (or even lower) To get supersampling you need a higher native res than the monitor or TV, for example RDR 2 and most games of the 8th gen can be played at upscaled 8K on PC, but the native res is higher than 4K, like 5K or 6K

I've got a cheap, low tech 4TB external hard drive I use for just shelving games when I need storage for something else in addition to the 2TB + 2TB I have with fast storage on the Pro. I rarely need to delete and re-download things as a result.
