Splendid Wren and Grevillea in Watercolour

- 'Splendid Wren and Grevillea' measures approximately 16x16cms in size, is rendered in watercolour and features the spectacular Splendid Wren nestled in amongst a delicately coloured grevillea in flower. Following our recent discussions, this study explores the subject in a more traditional style with an elegant white background, a style i love of course. Definitely a technical challenge, this painting was an excellent opportunity to explore the diversity of a blue palette and intricate detailing. I hope you enjoy this clip showing the process of evolution.
I am a beginner and I can tell this is the art of a master. I can't wait to be a patron when i have time.
