About Me: Sarra Cannon writes contemporary and paranormal fiction with both teen and college-aged characters. I love the idea of reading a book and pulling it apart. Would be great to see how that works!
It would be so fun to do as a group! I do this with movies and books all the time on my own, haha

Fourth Wing was INCREDIBLE. I have always been obsessed with dragons and that book was just the best 🤩
I love how in the Witch's key you've got the Newcastle Knights as there is an Australian football club with the same name and it's in Newcastle, New South Wales!!! 🙂
Fourth Wing started slow for me and then really picked up. Babel was good too. Really gave some insight to the England/China history.

It's great that a weekly reset of your office works for you. But l really love, love, love to sit down to a tidy desk. It reminds me of the illusion of hotel fresh. It just says to me: it's a new session, l'm ready to get stuff done! ... EXCEPT when I'm working on a long term project. Then l want to sit down right where l left off. ... But truthfully, even then, at the end of each session, l like to put away reference materials or supplies that I've set aside (or on the floor🤫). So that it's fresh and organized when l come back to it. I can find what l need because it's back home. (Instead of looking where it belongs and then remembering that it's on the floor underneath something else.) So, I'm not tidy 100% of the time. And I've been known to leave a pile from time to time, but I've noticed my physical response when l walk into my office is so much more energetic when it's tidy. And how draining it is when it's not. 🤔 Hmmm, l guess I've evolved. Something l never thought I'd say about myself. 👍. Thanks for letting me ramble. 💖🌞🌵😷

Swag specifically designed for Spooktacular would be fun, stickers or a coffee mug/cup. All the witchy type stuff is always fun and love the Grand prize of the whole Shadow Demons or Eternal Sorrows signed. Another grand prize idea could be a phone call from you!
Also, I loved Fourth Wing! I read it on vacation and couldn’t put it down! It’s so great you’re getting back to your joy and starting to give no effs about what others think you “should do.” It’s your life, do you 💕. Always love your vibe an authenticity.

I have finished "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. I have had a lot of anxiety and worry lately about taking care of my Dad. He lives with me and I take care of him. This book helped me focus on Now. I don't know if this book would interest you but I am putting it out there. Enjoy next week at your conference. I hope you have your black cat again, I loved it.😊.

I’m watching on the replay but in answer to your question I just finished reading “Some Desperate Glory” by Emily Tesh. It started slow and I was on the fence but I persisted and wow am I glad I did. By the end I gave it 5*. It really came together, very clever. My only complaint is it’s a stand-alone and I want more.

I get a lot of my used books from Books Price online. There's a lot of book shops that sell there (l think Thrift Books still sell there.) The best part is that you choose what quality book you desire. I can't read highlights so it's perfect for me! 💖🌞🌵😷

I don’t think Dark Academia is really literary always. I don’t think Leigh Bardugo is super literary. I also loved 9th house but not HellBent (the sequel). Babel was & I thought it really lagged in spots so didn’t care for it as much. I feel like my favorite dark Academia right now is the new Wednesday series on Netflix but that isn’t a book.
