So The Product I Use Are These - amzn.to/2VZsFrm To Know How Many You Will Need Will Range From How Many Coats You Apply And How Many Letters There Are In My Video I Have A TON OF LETTERS so for me i used 10+ i also bought more for touching up over the months / years as i need to. ive been very happy with how they turned out and look now in all reality you only need to do 1 coat it holds up very well or 2 light coats for me i did 3 for more products i used in this video see below!

Just ordered these for my new Atturo Az800s. Love the look of white letter tires. Old school. Not a big fan of "Challenger" tire stickers on my Challenger. Would rather highlight the name of the tire. Im going to scuff mine with a scotchbrite pad before applying, but yes, Acetone is a must. Just checked out your channel and subbed. Nice rims also, look like a chrome TorqThrust II but like the simulated bolt look. Like that your old school.

no joke i did the same thing with my tires about 3 weeks ago. They are cooper rs-3g1 all season tires and i painted the cooper lettering i looove it. it looks great man! By the way do you plan on adding a sound system? Or is there already a sub or anything? I put a 15 in the trunk of my mustang and it has the shaker 500 door subs and i absolutely love it. Can barely go without it now if i have to take them out for anything lol just curious.

As Far As Sound systems Go I Have Not Decided Yet i have a Xplod Sound system and Amp That Ive Used Is Past Builds That Ive Always Been Impressed With Tho I Dont Know IF The Box Will Fit The Mustang I May Decide To Install It But Before i Do That Will Want Up Upgrade Parts So I Have Enought Juice So Its Not Taking From The Motor I Have A 300$ High Charger Alternator To Install And i'll Need A Much Better Battery As Well, For Now The Sound System Will Be A After Thought So Not On The To Do List However That Might Change Quick As I Have A New Navigation System / Radio That I Want To Install This Spring So If I Do That I May At Least Run The Wires For A Amp While Im Doing The Nav But come Spring I HAVE A TON OF THINGS that will be done! Cold Air Intake , Screamin Demon Coil Install , Interior Items , Full Custom BAMA Tune And lots more! i upload 3 New Videos Every Week :D
What do you clean the lettering with before you apply touch up coats?

You did a great job brother. How long does it last? Do you reapply every few months and does it clean up nice? I'm worried about it turning brown or yellow after a while.
Sadly it will turn brown after awhile when it fades but it don't look back every few months I just add 1 coating

Did u use the Qtip with actone
after it had all three coats and dry
I used it before and after the great thing about the tire ink is you can use the qtip and acetone at any time to clean up so even if 2 weeks pass by it cleans up

hello, if you use 1 to 1.5half coats it wont crack as much if you use 3 like i did it will crack i just went over it again once it cracked and now its fine, it does not last super long even with being garage kept i recommend 1 coat which will last just as long and then touch it up every month or so you will use less ink and it will last longer i looks amazing once done tho
RevLine89 it cracked because you didn’t do it with them on the car so when you put the tires back on the tires flex to the shape and cause cracking.
@@JustAshleyDanielle I did my tires on the car and it's cracking. So disappointing...i was hoping it wouldn't not crack and not hopefully fade or wash off when I wash my car.
Should have just gone with tire decals. No touch ups,cracks,brown/yellowing,quicker installation process,and no need to have so much patience for this tedious daunting task..only down side I see for the sticker/decal is the money spent,but even that's relevant. My time is worth the sub 200$ the kits cost. You did a great job..but "should have had a V8"lol

ive had over 9 V8's i honestly got bored, and the only down side to the stickers is once they start turning brown it gets harder and harder with time to clean them and get them white, and if you remove the the glue stays in the shape of the letters it looks horrible ( had them done long ago on another build ) this way the ink pens dont last forever and you can keep refreshing them up
@@RevLine89 Unfortunately I go thru tires so often due to the aggressive negative camber I need in order to fit my Work D9r 19x11²,decals wouldn't have time to get crusty.10 months is all I get out of a brand new set. lol
