Brad Paisley is a MONSTER. He can play everything. Dude’s hybrid picking is top notch. He’s arguably the most successful dude on that stage.

Morello has sold about 7 million more albums across RATM and Audioslave, so who's more successful may be up for debate. Paisley's a hell of a guitar player though, was really impressed with him here, having not listened to his stuff before

As a beginner guitarist, this song is overwhelming because of the sheer mass of talent and dedication those people gave to their instrument. It inspires us to keep pressing.

Tom Morello’s solo also sounds almost Pink Floyd influenced.
This was a fantastic song. These guys are some of the best ever and they all played well together. Brad did toss some country twang in there, loved it. It was also good to see the song writer and the movie creator playing here. For each of them throwing in some of their own style of playing, it all blended in great.
I didn't think I could enjoy this legendary gathering of guitarists any more, but you proved me wrong sir

Great analysis, the white tele you mentioned is a fender jim root signature telecaster. He also has a strat and 2 jazzmasters.

I am sure many others have pointed it out but just in case. The pattern on Brads guitar is called Paisley just like his name and you have seen it for years on bandanas among many other fabrics so you were correct sir. Just a bit off by saying amoebas.

This is a show,jam , masterpiece made for fender..... knowing that they are all 1of1 made for everyone specifications.... That jag , Nuno s one is carved and none of the pickup are original....despite being a publicity for fender, they are guitar gods on their own way and just like Tom said...."sounds like guitar center 98" and NUNO says, which by the way it's also my name and Portuguese, " let's put some springle....fairy dust on it ..... And they did.... it's been almost 3 years since I've seen this for the first time and still love it ..... Those are guitar gods....what else could we expect!!! Guitar bass n drums since 88....I kinda know a bit let's say of technique,shred and play with the heart....and here we have all those and more.... RESPECT FOR ALL....just my umble opinion......
When I first heard the GOT theme during the intro ,back in like 2012 , I was thought it was weak and fluffy . It has grown on me in the way it influences mood in the series. This original clip I saw a long time back and had no idea of the intricacy's of it. Thanks for the breakdown
Those aren’t ameba on Brad Paisley’s guitar. That design pattern is known as “Paisley.” Commonly seen on men’s ties.
“Paisley refers to a patterned cloth inspired by an ancient Persian design of curved, teardrop shapes in many different colours. The pattern became very popular in Europe during the 18th and 19th centuries and its English name comes from the town in southwest Scotland where the cloth was produced.”

For me. Brad Paisley and Nuno Betancourt play the best solos.

Nuno and Tom could match him or beat him at rock and metal, but the guy can play rock, jazz, blues, country, bluegrass, surf... He's probably written just as many (if not more) guitar instrumentals as the others.
I didn't make that comment lightly.
Genre aside, not everyone there reads music, that’s clear.
The music is taped to the floor in front of them. Scott Ian, not nervous,not talking….totally paying attention. He’s next to the composer, that’s important. Gotta believe they are in that order for a reason too. Brad definitely brought his skill set, that’s obvious by the time it’s his turn. He’s over there ringing chords like he wrote it, and Ramin Djawadi loves all of it. He’s genuinely smiling as they go and stops playing, for a minute.

Scott Ian was kick'n back enjoying the flow and feelin the groove. His presence is the backbone rhythm of the song. Many don't realize how important this is. Brad showed he can hang with the best. Nuno is Nuno nuff said. Thom Morelo has a sound that no one else has. Dan Weiss payed it down. Definitely established his cred. You know as a composer Ramin has skills. Was a little annoyed that the other guys weren't on pace. As they played you could see some smiles on Ramin's face as he enjoyed what was happening.

Like to see you do a reaction to Prince’s guitar solo from While My Guitar Gently Weeps in George Harrison’s rock & roll hall of fame induction event with Tom Petty. It’s kinda like this where you’ve got a lot of alpha guitar players on stage together with Steve W and Tom Petty and there’s some interesting behind the scenes stuff about them asking Prince to this solo and him not showing up to rehearsal and no one was really sure he’d do it etc, I don’t know there’s some interviews with Harrison’s son who’s playing in there, and some others. And there’s some really interesting son stage presence stuff between Prince and the band that I’m curious about. Great solo.

Without a doubt! Paisley is one the most versatile and talented guitarist playing today. Look at Nuno’s reaction when Brad finished. 😮😮 Not to take away from the massive talent in that room.

Tom is easily the best there, then Brad. I've seen tom do a solo at a Bruce Springsteen concert and it was unbelievable.
Nuno and Brad are the best. Tom is cool but it's a gimmick.
All of these guys are Fantastic! Those aren't amoeba's on Brad Paisley's axe, they are PAISLEYS! And if you knew your music, you would know that Country guitarists are most likely the most precise in their playing. Just ask Wings of Pegasus! And Dan W did NOT out play everyone else there. He is fantastic. They ALL are. They were there, because they are some of the VERY few best in the world!

Hey bud, I'm sure you can play the guitar. For sure. But man, you didn't touch the thing in this entire video. So why is it in your lap? Almost like you're desperately needing anyone who washes in from the algorithm to understand that you play guitar... hey bud; that could have been accomplished via the dialogue. We get it. Maybe try playing the guitar in your next video (I'm sure you do but I'm not going to look because you're the type of guy to have his guitar in his lap for twenty minutes and not play it)
I watched this video a second time and discovered that I left too early. The last five seconds you did put out a lazy half-riff. Still doesn't count. I wanted to see you jam alongside them. Like imagine coming in at certain parts during a refrain or something with a little shredding of your own.
