Bought a frame. Went with a 110mm SID fork and had the shop remove both the remote lockouts. Wanted a cleaner cockpit. 182.3cm on a L. Ultra light and well rounded. Replaces my DC bike. Glad you didn’t mention the Santa Cruz Blur. 👍
It's a super nice bike and I do see more XC bikes on the trails lately. It's going to really competitive to sell such a high end XC bike since we already see the bigger brands slashing prices.
I don’t believe Cervelo needs to sell many of this, this is a venture into unknown. They will be making a profit on their road bikes and this will be just There.
I wish companies like Cervelo would make another less race focused XC bike that is more practical and accessible for the average rider. The price range for high end race focused bikes are just ridiculous.
Internal cable routing is absolute standard (who wants cables all around?) but the way it was designed here is one of the worst. Even not fully hidden damper lockout cable looks bad and I guess it's more exposed to damage. Way cheaper bikes has holes both sides of headtube and damper cables fully hidden. And I'm sure this doesn't make much difference to experienced mechanics and also that can't be for "aero reason".
How is it any faster then any other XC bike? lol...2 wheels, check, handlebar, check...gears, check....YOUR LEGS are what power it. light weight wheels, check
@@luketoms6110 You do realise that the new Trail was released just a few months ago... And the new WC Lux hasn't been out that long? Canyon always have the same version cycle.
seems like a steep ht angle compared to the current XC peloton, and the headtube area seems more sturdy than most DH bikes? What is going on there? Could have saved 200 grams....
You should be reviewing the 120. This is the race with 100 mm front and back. The 120 is going to be more popular. My only gripe with this bike is the rear shocks only has two settings. I’m going to trade mine out.
great bike LOCK OUT waste of time even for racing suspension is great now days and ridden mountain bikes 20 plus years rather top of the line suspension without lockout FOX or SRAM both are good less cables and easy to take off and service
He said it was faster on the ups and downs when compared to the proven Lux WC. Milan Vader rode the ZFS5 last year. He was though coming off a life threatening road crash. He didn’t do great.
Should also come with a power meter, at this price, like Canyon.

Nice santa cruz blur
Nope. It’s longer reach, slacker and lighter.
How does it compare to the Pivot Mach 4 SL? Which would you have?
At this price point there should be both AXS dropper and regular carbon post included for you to choose what to take for a given ride

I wanna see new pinarello xc. It looks sick

Big oof on that cable routing, lots of odd choices on the frame design as well.

Yeah wireless disc brakes and shock lockouts should be a great improvement for bikes until the batteries die while going down an alpine pass

Thought things were going badly for the bike industry, but I was wrong!
Great video. Stolen the route on strava for the middle section!
Enjoy 👍
Hi David, how does this compare to the Pivot Mach 4 sl 3?
Is it running the new 2024 Rockshox forks? Thanks for your review 👍

This frame looks like it is straight out of Chinese Catalogue. I don’t know though how it looks in person…
Hey Dave, do you have one favourite stick that you carry with you at all times or do you find a new stick at each location?
New one every time 😀

Seat post looks too slack, especially for us long in the leg - and without a dropper…
When will you review the specialissima?
Soon hopefully
I’m eyeing it, hope to see your review before making decision 😉
Any sign of the new 2024 Lux World cup
I doubt it, the current one wasn't released that long ago. Will be a couple more years. The current WC Lux is doing ok on the race scene....
@@Chunky246 GMBN let slip they he'd see the new canyon lux weather it was the trail or not.

Insane! 😂
Is it the fastest? Hmm, debatable......none of the current top XC racers are on a Cervelo.....so it's hard to know.

The best xc bike is cannondale scalpel fully .
