I have DaVinci Eye but am just a beginner. It is good to see an expert in action using the grey scale feature which interests me a lot. What do you think about working in seven shades grey acrylic instead of pencils as you are doing? I would then use that as underpainting for subsequent oil glazes. Not criticising you but you said this is a commissioned job to produce an exact pencil copy of the photo. I really wonder why customer would not allow you the artist to bring your own artistic impression to the picture to make it a unique artwork? The end result will be very nice but it seems to me, not art. Customer might as well have ordered an extra print on watercolour or canvas textured paper. It seems wasteful to use a talented artist this way.
There's so much footage from me doing commission pieces and I want as much as the video as possible I can in a time frame small time frame. The best way to do that is to put it into separate videos. Part two will be coming shortly.
Just waiting for my cellphone stand to come. Can’t wait to try this
