@@ThisGuyLikesTrains Well yeah fun but I got banned from SCR so sad but I can use an alt so no problem i guess, 390 just looks cool and weird but longer trains are fun, since 5 cars feels like a long distance regional expresss service not a long distance express high speed service, so this is exciting!
@@ThisGuyLikesTrains Dude Waterline barely has the demand for a 4 or 5 car train so that is unrealistic, + no need to expand platforms, WaterLine is not busy so that won't happen, like in my city there is a train line for 2 car only trains known as the Stony Point line where every train is a Sprinter and 1 or 2 cars, but the longest trains in my city are 9 cars, and have a top speed of 160 KM/H and are known as the VLocity 160, which is a 3 car high speed diesel multiple unit built by Bombardier and entering service in 2005, more are still being built, it's like the Australian version of the IET, fast trains mass produced, but they don't have first class or a buffet so are not fitted to the long trips they run, and the loco hauled trains from the 80's with N class locomotives (the A class, P class, S class and B class were retired) and N type carriages with some Z type carriages dating back to the 1960's, so the average age is about 38 years for the loco hauled stock (the locos are slightly newer than the cars, N type cars build from 1981- 1984 and N type locos from 1984 - 1987) but some carriages are approaching 60 years old! So they do need to be replaced with loco hauled stock aging from ~35 - 60+ years old, but the Sprinters are aging too, build from I think 1993 - 1995 but now only operate on the Seymour and Stony Point lines, but like dude the fact you can still travel in a train carriage from the 1960's in a city of over 5 million people, Melbourne, Australia, is just wild, and they';re not heritage trains, they're regular long distance regional express passenger trains! But I feel like the IET thing is happening here too, a bunch of trains that are not as comfy, dont have first class or a buffet (some IETS dont have first class either but most IETS have a buffet but like only two VLocity 160's have a buffet out of over 100 sets) and just are not suited to long distance, sometimes things are just weird. Ayyy looks like a 390 is coming to SCR WOOOOO!!!!!
Yep, finally!

New Sneak Peak is on BR discord server showing a class 86 in a different livery
Something Is Going with Scr and Br. Br made The Old Wcml Class 86 While Scr made the New Wcml Class 390
For class 390 the platforms need to be longer to fit
11 cars omg that's alot how they will fit at stops
how will they not?
How will the gaud work with the new lengths
I'd assume the same
To be honest, I don't think any of the Express platforms need to be extended, except for maybe the Morganstown and Newry branches.
@@TheMetrobusEnthusiast I couldn’t imagine the Pendolino going down the Newry branch

@ThisGuyLikesTrains Oh, I've just remembered, they can't anyway, because they'd need to be diesel.
L going make money to buy class390 on 3000 or 4500 points.
Scr laggs so much for me😢😢
