Cool surname! greetings from Finland! I will try your rink method as my yard slopes a little as well.
Thanks
Recruit that kid.
Wheres the how part?
nice
I made three or four without liner then did a few with liners. Now I've moved and don't really have room on my property. Still want to make one just don't want to put boards and liner where I want to make the rink and it's sloped slightly. Do you think I'll have much success with that
so i see the 'after'.....where.s the 'how to?'
How do you roll the snow?
Machine
How long did it take you to pack the snow underneath?
For a great wink you pack the snow probably once a day for a week DEPENDING IF ITS SNOWING EVERYDAY and around day 5-7 must it with water
Nice rink but I wonder what if soeo
Ok this is like so good how did u do that with just snow
My dad is the best and he knows how to do anything:)
when my kid were little ,we played football in the yard after getting 4/6 inces of snow, when we were done,we walked around and packed all the snow, the next day I would lightly sprinkle water every 2 or 3 hrs , in a day or 2, I would start to flood the ice in pools, so 3 or 4 days we would be skating.you really need 2 or 3 weeks of cold weather to have a lot of fun.
Did you use any plastic underneath or no
No
You will kill the roots of the grass like that. Got to have a liner if you care about your lawn!
Nope
Are grass is fine
