My daughter earned her BS and MS in physics from the UNC system.
Every female humanities professor tried to convince my daughter to change majors to the subject they were teaching. Why? Most female non STEM academics are strongly biased against women in STEM.
My daughter's first job out of college started over $100k. She was hired not because she is a woman or mixed race.
She is now designing Qubits for supercomputing.
DEI UNC hires tried to talk her out of this career that she is very good at and loves.
