There are settigns in the Affinity Photo Preferences where you can adjust different elements of the interface to make them easier. It would be worth experimenting if you have difficulty.
Robin, thanks so much for doing this. Since I no longer have the MacPro that could run Pshop CS5 point something, I decided recently to purchase Affinity., which is a hell of a good deal. But while it's similar to Pshop, it's different enough that it poses a significant learning curve for me. Your vids are the most helpful I've found. Thanks again-

You're very welcome! Affinity Photo is a great tool but it takes a little effort to learn.
