So I’ve been following you on Instagram/UA-cam for a few years now. I came to this video because I just passed my NCLEX last Monday, will be starting a L&D/Mother baby position July 18th and really wanted a what’s in my bag just to make sure I had the essentials. But I wanted to leave a comment to just say how much I love you and that I can see how much you have grown and how happy you currently seem in life. I am so happy I found you and have been able to see you grow ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
This was fun to watch. I’ve been a nurse for 20 years and it just goes to show how many different paths nursing can take you. I work in the O.R and have a locker so my bag I carry to work is essentially just my purse, car/house keys, swipe access card/hospital ID and that’s it. My locker however is full of snacks and resources and paperwork, plus more snacks. I hope you stick with nursing Holley, it appears to be your calling that’s for sure. I wouldn’t be anywhere else 😊

Lucky I wish we didn’t have any cases. I’m currently working on the covid unit and I don’t bring anything home. They provide all our meals/snacks for 12 hour shift. Our laundry is stays there and we shower everyday at the end of the shift.

I always feel so weird walking into the hospital with only my car keys and all the other nurses have their backpacks or bags but I just leave everything in my locker!

I have those Jaanuu masks and love wearing them too! Unfortunately, we aren’t allowed to wear them in my hospital. We have to wear surgical masks as well as goggles. I work in Medicine ICU but this is hospital policy for all units in the hospital.
Have you thought about getting a stethoscope case? I start nursing school in 2 weeks and I’m sooo excited!! I bought a case but I’m not sure if it will be worth it or not lol since everyone seems to be fine with it in their bag :) Anyways I’ve been loving your videos, they’re just getting me even more excited 😊❤️

I literally do the same thing with my tennis shoes. I don’t even put my feet in the car. I take my shoes off and put them in a Walmart bag too! 😂

When you ordered your masks did you get a kids size or adult? Most of the masks I’ve bought recently don’t fit my face properly.
I bought pure cotton masks so that I can stretch or shrink as needed
