Is this in memory of someone- If so- what a lovely way to keep their memory alive. My husbands dad passed away a couple of years ago and they had a holiday home on Ana Maria Island in Florida. We are going out there and going to sit on the bench that’s in his memory... we really want to pop a cache there or at least an Earth cache as we can only do maintenance around 2/3 times a year when hubbies mum goes to visit. He never got to learn about Geocaching but we often talk about how he would have taken over with his gps when we are at loss. Lol. He was a sailer and would have LOVED Geocaching! X
My brother and I did that one shortly after it went live and I still have found only one other cache that rivals it. The stage with the pipes in the hinged log blew us away when we found it. Diehard does some awesome work! Thanks for sharing it.
Yesterday was my 47th birthday. We had plans to go on a short, local hike today and while looking for one I spotted a geocashing link. There was a whole bunch of them near the trail we went to! We only looked for one, found it, but it was empty. It's a pretty high traffic trail, so I wasn't surprised. What really struck me is the fact that with all the places we've been and trails we've hiked in the past, I bet we walked right past hundreds of caches and were none the wiser. I look forward to buying a dedicated GPS device (rather than using my phone, and seeking these things out wherever we end up. I even plan to purchase a supply of trinkets to leave behind. Newb for now, but already a fan!
Like we said for The GCDoc's video... it is SO awesome to see the same find from different perspectives! That cache was AMAZING!! We came across a cache almost as cool as the one in your video here... it is in Ohio... GC2PMNP (it is currently disabled until warmer weather). It is caches like these and people like you and The GCDoc that make geocaching what it is!! :)
Wow, that is a great cache. I love to see caches where the CO goes to so much work to give us a great experience. Difficult but not impossible. Congratulations, well done cache.
Because this video, I actually went to Minnesota this summer with intention to find this cache. However, it was raining hard the day before my search. There are too much water, so I only made to step 3. One day, I will be back.
I love geocaching..this one doesn't really remind me of Back To The Future though :) more like : The Blair-witch project :) Someone should have thrown the GPS away in frustration at some point for it to be an exact match :)
What an awesome puzzler that Doc was! The hinged log puzzle was brilliant. How you found it under the snow as well. I love that Geocaching gets us out in nature and to some beautiful locations, this particular one looks like a great way to spend an afternoon. Inspiring. Do you ever leave caches yourself, Geocaching Vlogger?
I love watching the videos that, The Geocaching Vlogger makes the music how he greets you every time you watch his videos it makes you feel welcomed so Thank You for making videos!!!! :-)
Those puzzles were amazing. I have never came across anything remotely like that. I’ll have to show the other half of “Team Picnic” this video. It’s amazing! Thanks for sharing and I’m so happy I just recently came across your channel 😊
Oh my gosh, I think I want to do a road trip to Minnesota!! I looked up the GC and then looked at the map around this cache and WOW, we could have a great weekend of caching. This cache looks like a ton of fun to find too!! Maybe this will be a planned vacation for next summer.
I just head about this geothing and it is amazing how people came up with that..and then how they came up with the puzzles....so like...anyone can invent these puzzles?
Just saw this video this morning thanks to YT random feed. All excited to look this GC us and plan to do d it. IT'S been ARCHIVED!!! Waaaaahhhh! (Still loved the video.)
me and my family went on a walk in the woods and found and old ammo container. there was a lot of keys and a lock on it. the note attached said "youll need a key :)"
Hey I am new to geocashing and intact I never have done it before, it seems very interesting! Do you want to give me some tips to start geocashing? Thanks!
Not often enough. Satellite internet is the secret plague of the American midwest. I was getting an oil change today though so I plowed through most of what I have missed. Always a good way to spend some time.

Yes, I think the cache was in tribute of a real man. The pictures at the final I think we're a testament to it. Thanks for your lovely comment.

+Jerry Chaz start by downloading the app on your phone. A try to find an easy one nearby. Look at a look terrain and difficulty rating. Good luck!
It took us a couple of hours.
Not often enough. Satellite internet is the secret plague of the American midwest. I was getting an oil change today though so I plowed through most of what I have missed. Always a good way to spend some time.
