You do not need music theory maybe it will help, but you can make them without it

Actually I didn’t study music theory and I make very interesting chords using ears, but I feel like it would be a lot easier with music theory.
It’s just a “time” or “workflow” thing. I think I would save a lot of time knowing theory.

Dude!! I also made a lot of sounds like that on FL Keys, but when it came for changing them to chords, I didn't have any preset for doing it, please tell me which preset is this? Did you buy it or get it from somewhere?? Please tell me too.. and all please tell me about the sidechain you used too..
He used sylenth1 for the sound, its a paid plugin, but if want to invest its a great plugin, however in fl u have a cool plugin called spire make sure to give it a try, oh and for sidechain you can use nicky romero kickstart wich is also paid our the fl studio limiter

ARP Fifth Prophet on sylenth1, turn off the arpeggio and then on A2 turn the note down from +5 to 0

How or where can i get that ‘cutoff’ from? Just started with fl Xd
It depends on what synthesizer plugin you are using, different plugins have different knobs that allow you to change stuff,for automating this knobs you just need to click the little arrow on the left top corner of the plugin and then go to browse parameteres, it will show up on the side and you can just search for what you want and create an automation clip.Another way to get that effect is to use an EQ in the mixer set the 7th frequencie to lowpass and create an automation of that frequencie.Hope ill help if you need anything ill be glad to help
