I do not see nearly enough people talking about how revealing Alastor's deal with Charlie is about him as a character and his overarching goals. He talks a big game about being Charlie's friend and ally, but here, at her lowest point when she is at her most vulnerable and desperate and he could alleviate her worries with one piece of information, he forces her to agree to an EXTREMELY favorable deal for him. Now, at a time of his choosing, Alastor can invoke this pact with Charlie and force her, on pain of losing her own soul if she breaks the contract, to do literally ANYTHING for him where she *technically* harms nobody. *Those are not the actions of a friend or ally. Those are the actions of someone who sees Charlie as merely a stepping stone, a means to an end. And the only thing I can conceive of Charlie as being a stepping stone to is Lucifer and the throne of Hell.*
Maaan Alastor and Rosie are such besties ✨💜💅 I bet Alastor got this gossip drama queen energy from her 😂😂 (typical ace (in a hole)... picking on drama and being sucked into others' relationship problems. Can relate..) I love their energy so much they look like Charlie's supportive step parents, haha. It's a bit of funny. Charlie could almost call her... mooooomm 😂😂 I really appreciate the "ace in a hole" joke. It has triple meaning. 1) picks on Alastor being asexual while he's not aware of it himself 2) ace in a hole is a term for having some secret weapon you will use later... if I understand the term correctly 3) and being a(ce) in a hole (a-hole) 😁
