Lord I feel attacked! This is my story. I got fired from a customer service job decades ago and I didn’t go quietly either. They got tired of me being late but I was not nasty to the clients like Keisha but they didn’t care. I cursed out so many people that day! It was like I had an outer body experience. When it was all said and done though I was ashamed of myself for acting a donkey and I learned from my mistake going forward. Im so punctual now I beat everybody to work and anywhere else I go!😆

I think the main thing I hate about jobs like this isn't that everything is recorded, but they will try to bury you over ONE phone call. You could have dozens of GREAT calls where you give the best customer service ever, but they'll always pull that ONE bad call and try to grill your behind about it -_-
*Side-note: Oct. 17th marks FOUR YEARS since I quit my call center job via a 19-page resignation letter so I could become a full-time UA-camr :)

As a 19 year veteran 911 dispatcher you are 1,000% correct. They do the same thing with us. They find the one bad call and forget the rest of the good calls. A lot of people bait you into arguments and it takes every inch of your soul to get drawn in. I've resisted so far but I will be losing my job next month because I won't get the vaccine because of my heart condition and they're not allowing weekly testing. So there will be one less dispatcher to answer your life or death calls. So I'll move on to something else less stressful.
