I had the biggest dumbest grin on my face for the whole film. So many references and nods to longtime players of the games, at the end when DK says “this is FUN!” I was like YES! Platforming is SO MUCH FUN when you don’t give up and practice until you get so good at it that you’re just flying through the levels! The movie truly captured the feeling of playing these games. It was simple and FUN!

I was at the cinema to see this movie, and I had told Dad that we needed to stay for the post credits scene. The one where the Yoshi egg hatches. When we started to leave, I got really upset, and we ended up waiting for 10 minutes. My little sister was like "you could have just said 'egg go crack'" but she wouldn't have believed me otherwise!

I watched this Mario movie. It was amazing. There's a lot of action and a lot of funny scenes in it. I'm hoping that Illumination and Nintendo would create a Luigi's Mansion movie. Charlie Day did say that he wants to voice Luigi again.
