I wanted to love my Nomad case, it looked fire but there was a defect. Nomad would not replace the case for me. The case was damaged and they would not make it right. So I stick with Andar for all my Apple products. Phone, AirPods, iPad, and Mac. Awesome products and customer service cannot be beat.
It's interesting you're not a fan on the exposed bottom of the Bullstrap, i really like it. My favourite case is the Pitaka MagEZ Case 4 specifically because it has exposed parts of the frame
Thanks for the detailed reviews! As Apple discontinued their leather products, I found myself looking for a leather case for my new iPhone 15 Pro. The new Apple FineWoven case is just bad. I was at the Apple Store on day one and their display FineWoven cases have already been heavily scratched. I brought one just to protect my iPhone but it feels very bad in hand like a cheap plastic toy. Interestingly, it did not get scratched (at least noticeably) after a weekend of use so I plan to return it Apple. I have always liked Nomad and Horween leather in general and almost brought their new Horween case for the iPhone 15 Pro. For the environmental folks out there, Nomad has already achieved carbon neural since 2020. Carbon neural does not mean zero carbon emission. For example, you could offset the carbon produced when growing cows by planting more trees, or in Apple's case forests. However, I don't like the fact that Nomad charges for shipping for a case that's already priced about $75. I picked the Andar case based on your recommendation in the end. The Andar case was < $50 after applying your discount code so paying for shipping seems to be reasonable to me.
Love your recommendations. I bought Nomad Modern Leather Folio for 13 Pro Max for a friend, and it looks incredible. I recently found Tumi Magnet Wallet Phone Case for iPhone 14 Pro. The case smells genuine leather, looks incredible in burgundy color, and the discount for father's day helped the purchase trigger. You should give it a review.
I only get leather cases for dress up events. Last year I used the Enzo for the 14 pro Max and this year I'm using bull strap for the 15 pro Max. Outside of those type of events, I use the mouse case with the glued on leather back.
I'm using Nomad Horween on my IP 4P. That thing is top notch of quality with grainy leather feel. Quiet like using my boots but covered my phone not my foot. Maybe is expensive in my country but definitely one of best quality leather case that I have.
Can this list be complete without Saddleback leather ? I have been using them since the original iPad. It is a fully leather case. Most seen here are plastic case wrapped in leather…… you should definitely check it out
The Andar to me is still pretty slippery, even after two months of use. I can't use it all the time because it's a tad too slippery. Also, I notice my phone gets hotter than normal when using my Andar Aspen.

I almost want to get an iPhone because they just get the best cases, leather ones included. I can't really fault case makers because it is obviously easier to make cases for 3 or 4 different models of iPhones, all similarly shaped, every year, than to make cases for the 15+ Android based phones out there.
Wilken is definitely a worthy competitor. I love how their brown shade is right in between the sienna and bourbon from bullstrap. Not too light and not too dark.
As much as I love Andar cases and the Enzo, I still can’t resist my sienna bullstrap. The sienna has hands down the most enjoyable patina process. It seems like everyday you have a new case.

Bullstrap feels thinner on my 14 pro max than the Andar. Overall experience is much more enjoyable with the Bullstrap. I rarely reach for my Andar since I purchased it.
@@hocineted7594 it’s more of a navy blue, and will get darker over time. It’s a nice color if you prefer that shade. I think the Bullstrap is slightly a better fit than Andar, just a tad less bulkier. Both are top leather cases. Depends on what you prefer
Another person who has zero clue what’s going on. I don’t recommend the apple leather case because it’s trash quality compared to most that’s out there. It’s a personal preference so if you like and enjoy it then cool but don’t try to come up here acting like you know what you’re talking about because you don’t.
The Apple leather case started using a coating over top of a not great quality leather, about 3-4 years ago. Anyone that knows and appreciates leather knows that the Apple leather cases are terrible now. You get zero patina. What you actually get it a weird plastic type coating that chips off and looks very artificial and odd. There is no biased by Tee or by me. I get absolutely zero dollars from anyone and just am telling the facts. Oh, and also the Apple leather case provides virtually zero protection as well. You’re paying $60+ for a $15-20 case because it has an Apple logo

I have the Secrid wallet made of Italian leather and its so perfect... Ill never buy another type of leather.

The only thing that keeps the Nomad from being my daily is the grip. It’s a little too slick for my liking. Instead I’ve been using the Aspen.

Leather will wear in and get patina and get more grippy over time
I’ve found it does take awhile for that leather to really get the grip but I also realize some are going to just need more leather.

Andar is thinner but Bullstrap is quite a bit nicer in my opinion. I used them both for quite some time.
