omg thank you! I have the hardest time finding shoes for my dollmore narsha girl as she's a 5cm foot so she doesnt fit msd and the smaller sd shoes are still way to big... it will be easy to adapt a pattern form yours so thanks so much!

Those in-between sizes are the worst! You can scale this pattern down to 5cm by printing it at around 72% the original size, you'll just need to add a little space around the fabric piece to make up for shrinking the seam allowance, too. I hope you're able to make some shoes for your girl!

My Narsha is currently wearing mnf shoes! They're a tad long on the toe but otherwise a good fit. I don't think she'd fit open toed shoes, but shoes like in the video and boots have been a good fit.

I keep meaning to make shoe patterns for the other doll sizes I have. I'll have to see where I can squeeze that in.

First of all! Thank you for the pattern! I tried it and I think there's a minor detail in the pattern that could be improved. Regular human size flats generally have a smaller outer sole than their inner sole. The outer sole on this pattern is a bit too large

I'll have a look at it--thanks :) I looked at a lot of my doll shoes before drawing it so I planned mine based on what doll companies were doing. However, I know that the patterns can sometimes be a bit distorted size-wise when I trace and digitize them so I'll double-check it soon! It's possible the pattern ended up a bit bigger than it was supposed to be.

I don't know how, but you *always* have a video for exactly what I'm looking for. I have a friend who wants to make an outfit for her first doll so she'll be dressed like Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service. So I thought I'd see if I could learn to make the shoes to surprise her, since her doll will be a RS Mei, and I have her. So I can make the right size without ruining the surprise.

quite helpful video. I like your explanation , but the background music is a bit disturbing as it covers your voice . the visible par of the sole when the shoe is done can be easily hidden with a tiny white/pink/gold cord like gift cord
thanks for taking the time and effort to share this tutorial with us :)

Yeah, I've had some trouble with the audio not compressing in the final file as it sounds in the editing stages! I'm working on fixing that though. Thanks for the suggestions, I like the idea of using some cording to finish the soles for my next pair!

Heck, that silver cord you used to secure the outer soles while it was drying would look great!

не плохо! но подошву надо ещё подрезать чтоб край не выступал за верх тапка,приклеить канттик, а уж потом декорировать...not bad! but the soles should be more to the edge trim does not protrude from the top sneaker, kanttik paste, and then decorate ...

Thank you :) I did adjust the size of the sole for the final pattern after making these; this was my second time making shoes and the first time using this pattern.

Nice video but I wish you had meticulously cut the soles out so the finished results matched your efforts. Looks so sloppy.

Sorry you didn't like it! Unfortunately, due to a physical condition I have, cutting very thick or hard materials such as leather cause me a great deal of pain in my hands so I'm not as good at it as some people are. I did my best, though :) Sometimes that's all we can do!
