Reno, your point about how courageous you guys are for sharing your deep thoughts on the internet is a really good one. Your openness and generosity is so valuable and helpful, thank you.
I loved Michael's " change the fucking channel" comment!! I love what you're doing. And you're right, Michael. If people don't like what you're saying. There's millions of other things on UA-cam.
So glad that Reno quoted from Maya Angelou's Still I Rise- a poem that inspires so many struggles! I loved Matt's idea of energetic activist-making change through empathy and energy! And Michael's idea of creating space for shining with inner light is inspiring! You three are making a big impact
I looooooved the ikigai concept, never heard of it, and I think I found mine. I’m an online language teacher, and it covers the four aspects, and even though it won’t turn me into a millionaire, but I’ll make enough to live a calm happy life with more than enough to spoil myself a little bit once in a while. Always a pleasure.
I'm glad we're addressing this. I always felt a very deep sense of purpose, it's one of the defining attributes of my life experience. But at the same time that has taught me patience and being able to chill the fuck out, but also how to make plans and stick to them.
Thanks guys for contributing your knowledge to the community. Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one. Do let the negative people wear you down. I applaud the good work that you are doing. I enjoy watching your group discussions. Please keep up the good work.
I know exctly what you are saying about wanting to allow yourself to play in the playground that you started, or made. As someone who put together events for our lgbtq+ community for years I didn't really feel a "part" of it a much as I should have because i kind of associated more as the person who helped orchestarte the event in terms of organizing, performing, promoting, etc, but on a deep level I wasn't having a much fun as I should have been. So now I feel this "allowing" happening, where I want to get in there and have fun with the community I help bring together!
Absolutely get that feeling! It's wonderful to hear you're finding your space within the community you've supported for so long. Here's to more meaningful moments and shared fun! 🌈😊
Thank you for doing this podcast. You are three beautiful men with such beautiful hearts. My passion is painting spiritual paintings. And i feel its my purpose in life to make art that gives joy and hope. Blessings to you from Denmark❤
Nice job fellas!!! A friend got me onto your podcasts and this is my second one. I'm a deeeeeeep thinker as well and at this stage in my life, in my mid 40s, I believe this type of inner refection is never more important than now. It's uncomfortable sometimes, but if the outcome is that you grow in your soul/spirit/inner being, then it's TOTALLY worth it!! Thanks for being you and I look forward to more!!!
Thank you for a wonderful podcast. I am working on answering those questions as I am at a major turning point in my life. I met Arif & Ricky on the webinar weekend several months ago. I really appreciate your honesty and vulnerability. Shame no more!!!!
Thanks Fellas, much appreciated. Thank U for "Expansion is not linear it's cyclical". My awkward disclosure, when i grew up my passion/purpose was self destruction. I needed professional help to intervene. But it's so deeply embedded i needed to split myself to survive. I can vouch for it: violence turns a person into an object. My condition for staying alive was to become a dancer. The arts is where we learn transformation. Curiously the arts have an element of selfdestruction as part of the creative process. Thank U for affirming the role of suffering. There's a slogan floating around that pain is inevitable while suffering is optional🤔Ugh. How smug. Implicit judgement, oh you're suffering? Well, you're not thinking properly. It's a form of blame the victim. It's naive, shows a lack of understanding of re-enactment. Too bad about hateful comments U receive. People tend to give out what they were given. Why did empowerment become license to tantrum. Your work is a balm for this tired ol' soul💜
💘 This was great per usual ! Would you all be up to meet others that watch your vlogs during the summer ? Like one big group gathering at a park or something? 😊
We have had social mixers in a few cities (Toronto, Calgary, Atlanta to name a few) but we haven't explored this idea as a watch party! Definitely something to consider. Would anyone else do that?
Hello . I have to admit that this is the first video ,I've watched so far, and I enjoyed it . I do have something to say , and please forgive me because , I don't know any of your names yet , but I will. My comment is for the man in the top right corner . I think it's good that you don't have any shame about posting nude photos of yourself , but I wish you would be more mindful about the way you are trying to get others to understand that although it's nothing to be ashamed of , and yes it's your body and you can do with it what you please , but saying I don't give a 'fuck" what anyone has to say about it , is good for you , but you have to keep in mind , that you are now a roll model , and there are young people watching you. Even adults that , all though they are adults they might not be in the mind set of an adult . Young or old , some people who aren't as strong and/or confident as you , or they just are not the type of personality that wold want to post nudes , still would or might do it because of the influence of posting nude photos is so trendy right now. Then there's drugs , abuse exct . So the I don't give a "fuck" comment is problematic , for many reasons , but I'll name two that come to mind the strongest . 1. I don't give a fuck , is something I usually hear from a person who is about to do something without thinking or planning before they'er about to do something that takes some thought before doing, and they usually end up with some sort of regret.2. If we want to be treated as equal as anyone else , "FUCK" might be a fun word to say , but the uptight ones that we are trying to get to wake the fuck up and listen , are not going to hear anything you have to say beyond "fuck'. Aside from that I think all of you , including you ,"Naked Guy" have great hearts and thank you all for doing what you are doing . I'll definitely keep reading ,watching and participating . Smooches.
Hi there! Michael here (top, right, aka naked guy with the potty mouth). First, thanks so much for your comments and feedback; I appreciate your perspective, and I do see where you're coming from. Believe it or not, I actually do filter myself quite a bit on this show, but once in awhile I get riled up about a topic and the f-bombs start flowing. I was genuinely passionate about what I was saying in that moment - that people can be whatever the F they want - bc I find so many of my GBT clients fall into the same thought patterns I had for most of my life: "play small, dim your light to make others feel comfortable, fly under the radar, what you want isn't as important as what others want, you don't deserve it, etc." For years this was my attitude and it felt awful. Deep down, I knew I was betraying myself and letting my gifts rot away. To get me out of that, I needed to emphatically break the chains of toxic shame - and some strong language helped get my attention to do so. It's my own version of Cher's "SNAP OUT OF IT!" Shame keeps us small; to be shame-less to me means to live life on your own terms, deeply connected to your inner life force and then letting that energy flow through you into the world. I can't promise not to use F-bombs going forward, but I will be mindful and try to save it for special occasions 🙃 - Michael 💟
I honestly think anyone who views @WellismoCoaching as a role model should have their head examined.. In fact he seems to confuse 'personal strength' with following banal trendy shit that most other gay men do, and by the looks of things he charges money for it.. SHINE YOUR LIGHT INDEED!! IN MY WALLET!!! I'm here because i value independent thought and deep people, so i saw this channel and checked it out, I'd be interested to see how well the presenters can actually live up to their motto "BE whoever, SAY whatever the FUCK you want" without banning or censoring people like me for my opinion, just because i dont walk in step with the stupid, evil gay majority
What if a guy does want to make an impact, but is happy being in the background? What if my brightness burns through my artwork, but doesn't want the "attention?" I keep battling with shoulds and thoughts of somehow letting myself down if I decide to keep low-key. I dont know if self-esteem work is in order, but I feel perfectly fine as I am.

Yes I went down a rabbit hole with it but only scratched the surface during the intro. Definitely recommend learning more on that.

Sounds beautiful! I don't have an artistic sense so I'm often amazed by what people can create with paintbrush.

Good for Mr L, who seems to be on the same page as Ms Gauff when she thanked the people who didn't believe in her after winning the US Open.
Great work.Matt.
