Bit confuse of how elemental dmg work for this weapon can you explain it cause I don’t get it so you meant power phial is an element? Or what em I missing here 😐
There are two type of charge blade, impact and power element. Deviljho's charge blade is power element which mean the phial explosion will do pure elemental damage. Basic attack from your weapon will still do elemental damage since the charge blade has an element.
I'm late to answer but in case you didn't figure it out, it's the end of an elemental discharge. You always go back into sword mode after an elemental discharge.
It depends on the monster. If the monster is very weak to an element then you would get more value out of higher element. In case of Deviljho, he's only moderately weak to dragon/thunder or at least from what I can tell anyway, so it's better to use weapon with high raw against him. Jho and Vaal elemental CB are fairly similar in stats so, which one is better depends on the monster your hunting.
When u used the charge blades discharge attack how were u only able to use one phial rather than all of them like im so used to seeing? Different phial type or something
Do the same thing as the would for a SAED but right when the sword is lock into your shield and before your hunter swings the axe , move the left stick back(opposite the direction your character is facing in game) and triangle. You will cancel the SAED into AED.
It depends on the monster. Most of the time you would want to use SAED but jho is tall and his body is narrow, so most of the phial explosion from the SAED will miss. So its better to use AED.
guardpoint. morph sword attack into axe have a GuardPoint in the beginning of the animation. if u do a Gp u can follow up with SAED or AED. basically it's the 4U cb playstyle.
@@jeze2432 Guard point guards are stronger than a normal guard and u will use less stamina, take less chip damage and will have less knockback. expecially the last part is important. if u guard a strong attack without any guard skill u will be stuck in the big knockback animation and u can't use AED or SAED. with 1 point of guard skill, charged shield and a succesfull gp ur guard will be lvl 3 (lvl 1 with a normal guard). with that level of guard u can GP like 90% of the whole enemy attack of the game, and be sure to be able to counter it with an AED or SAED. only very few monster will require the skill cap (lvl 5), like behemoth and kulve (if u whant tank the lava). another reason is because the guard have a startup animation. that means u will not block istant incoming attack if u press the guard when u see the move. instead if u do the morph attack, u will automatically block.
I'm getting flashbacks to 4U where SAED wasn't spammed
How did you do normal AED? I keep comboing to SAED. D:
///I got it. Just needed to press s + m1
Do you know what that translates to into console controls? I’m trying to figure it out also?

Good job, I’d say that this is the best way to use elemental charge blades, unfortunately SAED is not worth it.
DarioKreutzer it is the best way and yet it’s still underwhelming unfortunately :/

amzing defensive and offesive skills and combo
Is this after update 2.0 ?
Did you block an attack while sharpening??
He has rocksteady
Is having more elemental dmg better than having more raw when using elemental CB? I don't know if Jho's CB is better than Vaal's

@@somewhatinterestinggamer4794 i think you still get more elemental value, but no deviljho is 3 stars weak to thunder & dragon
How do you not empty all you phials when you do your super amped elemental discharge ?
Luis Padilla because he isn't doing the SAED he cancels into a normal AED (down + Triangle in the SAED animation)
Luis Padilla he’s canceling out super amped elemental discharge to do the normal one
Ah! 4U style of charge blade! A rare sight these days. People just keep spamming the super, it's just not as beautiful.
Just noob spam that shit, hardly ever it really got the monstro
4U had SAED too
Rocksteady op
