    Very beautiful patttern. I did both. I recommend using these dimensions:
    - for single: 370cm if do square knots tight or 400cm if you do more loose
    - for double: around 600-610 cm
    Great clear instructions. Perhaps to people who don't know basic knots it might be hard so I recommend this video for people who already did couple of macrame projects and are familiar with knots. Thank you

      How much more would you add for 4mm? I did this and used the same measurements and I ended having to add more cord multiple
      Times

    So cute. Great instructions. I attached mine to a used horseshoe instead of a ring. I made the double hanger. My only problem was that I ran out of cord. I ended up using 4 x 640 cm cords. Thanks for a great tutorial. It will be a housewarming gift for my son and daughter-in-law in New Mexico.

      640mm? That is only 25inches. I want to start cutting cord for a two hat hanger but want to make sure to cut right length, I am going to use sq knots along the sides too.

    Tricky to follow. I believe I need much more practice. Hard to see what piece you have collected and which way to wrap. I think I need slow motion.

      Thank you! For the 2nd section, I made 18 square knots (same as the 1st section). Make sure to cut your cords a bit longer if you try this project as for some people it was too short (50cm extra lengths should be fine).

    I would love to make a triple hanger with about 8" cord at bottom. Does 460cm + 160cm for 3rd hat + 20cm for extra cord sound right? So 4 x 1,100 cm? Thank you!! ❤

    Do you think single strand cord would work up as nicely or do you reccommend braided for this project?

    I'm a beginner at macrame, and I'm confused about the "Ring: 4,5cm diameter". Does "4,5cm" mean "4.5cm" or "4-5cm" or something else?? I even tried to do a google search, and google kept auto-correcting it to "4.5cm" when I typed the "4,5cm". TIA!

    • @BohoKnots
      @BohoKnots  3 місяці тому +1

      Hi! Yes 4,5cm means 4.5cm
      In Europe we usually use a comma instead of a dot 🙂

    I'm wondering what various factors allowed you to use that much cord? Sounds too short. Itd be nice to know how much more we need 😅

    • @BohoKnots
      @BohoKnots  Рік тому +4

      I mentioned the cord's lengths that works for me but without any extra cords left and because of various factors like brand of the cords or type/size of cords (even though its mentioned 3mm, it still varies depending on the supplier) and specially our tension while working on our knots, for some people it's gonna be too short. But I am now adding extra cords lengths for security on my latest video. For this project, you might want to add around 50-60cm more.

    Horrible instructions. It would be nice if you spoke during the video and told what you were doing. You move your hands so quick it’s hard to tell what piece you are grabbing. I have had to undo it 8 times and start over and keep replaying the video over and over!

    • @theacrepatch

      She may speak French and people may not understand that language. You can move to your settings and slow the video tutorial down. That makes it much easier to follow. 😊
