Can't believe it's 2022 and we're still receiving new videos, soundboards, etc. Couldn't be a better time to be a Deadhead 💀🌹
well, maybe if JG was still around.but i see your point.
The TRUTH IS...I passed on this show eve tho I was only 15 miles away!
Man, I tell you . Dumb and Dumber mmms, in the 1st degree
agreed!
My 1st show! Many more to follow. THANKS!!!
My first Dead Show.
very cool man
This is a great recording. Can hear Bob’s guitar clear as day.
Bob complimented Jerry very well that's the sound oh he'll the whole band was great in the Brent Era anyway
Can't forget the Phil bombs either
Phil with the bombs and little leg kicks at the end of Jack Straw made me incredibly happy!!!
I still feel them today.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any show from 1982. Thanks Kevin!
Amen. 81 and 82. Great years and great set lists. Jerry dug in and played.
...or any show from Kevin :)
@@gregorythomas2674
I hear that "Amen" , brother :)
He always dug in sometimes it mite of been off a little bit but that’s what makes them so real !
love the early west la. so dirty.
This was the second one, the first was the previous show in Oregon.
Coincidence… I was at this show and today in 2022 I was thinking about a particular song and I googled the show … and up it pops…. Amazing… thanks!
Oh Those Awesome Swells, and inner active Musical Explosions!! Leaves You Up and Dancing 💃 till the Break of Dawn!! Thanks 🙏🏻 for the Post 🤙🏻👍🏻🙏🏻❤️‼️
I would dance so hard that my hair would b wet after plus it was curly like Jerry’s !
Thanks! Diving deeper into the early 80's stuff and really enjoing it. I'll enjoy letting this one unfold over the evening.
Perfect
Letting the camera roll between songs is magic - the acid whislers echoing into the rafters bring back rich memories.
I know right mister Tobin you are the man thank you
I was there. I had no idea what I was about to experience
'82 the Dead's best year
it's extremely underrated!
Great show. I was at this one anf the 83 Seattle show. I was surprised when it showed up in my YT feed, thanks@
thanx Kevin. sounds great.
Thanks Kevin for all you do. I enjoy listening to your shows on Archive.
Give Thanks!!!!
It’s a Mama tried to Mexico! All the best of the bad life decisions with Jack Straw opener! Thanks Kevin!🎉
A masterpiece of guitar playing. Jerry was ripping it up

TYTYTY! 🌹⚡💀🌹 thank you so very much for sharing this! (Early West LA Fade) 😎👍😎
To see video of this after all these years of listening to this show is amazing!! Thank you Kevin!!
Day Job, second time played, first time was in Veneta the day before. These early versions are so much better than what was heard in the following years. Loved this Little Red Rooster!
Thanks Kevin ... Greatly appreciate the massive effort over the years just so I can listen and keep sane
U got that rite Mike , I would not know how to live without this music !?
Your phriend Jack Straw just wants to say Thank You for the awesome Video of The Boys on this day in GD History in Seattle just posted this Video to all the Dead Groups I post to everyday for this day in GD History & my phamily & phriend privately we all say Thanks Kevin for an awesome Video for the over 10,000 Heads I just posted this Video to enjoy it with as much as I am enjoying it.
Incredible video and sound. Thanks, Kevin.
This is a new concert for me ! Thank u Mr, Tobin
“Here's what Ginger says, she talks like she ain't nobody's fool
Here's what Ginger says, she tries to live by the golden rule
She says you treat people all right,
other people will probably treat you cool”
A vanished verse of West LA Fadeaway
I do go by the book of rules , it’s a good thing to go by ! The 10 commandments ! ❤️💥🔥☄️🐰🐇🪐👽🛸👻🕊🫶🏼✌️🥰🫥😶🌫️ stole my face rite off my head ! 😝😜🤪😛🥳🤩
that was my first thought. Who the f#ck is Ginger and what is she doing in West LA?
Long live the Dead and go Sonics!
Whew! What a filthy show! How bout that West LA? and even the LRR and Day Job, the Roses, Jackie, Cassidy, Loser, S&D, HG, etc... holy smokes! All around really groovy stuff here.. happen to really love this show lately. Thanks Kevin!
Plus when they paid for us to come to California & stayed in Marin County for a week then stayed with a friend that I met at the Lewiston Maine show for another 2 weeks so I got me some Gratefuldead to ease my soul ! Met all of the Dead family too because of Jerry !
This was a great he’s gone , my god how good is that ?!
I think it was more fun in the 80 s for them with Brent & us girls to make it easy on them here on the east coast for the parties ! They could sit back or whatever they felt like doing because then we did it ! Made it more comfortable even for the heads that we let in ! Me & my niece
😎👍👍🎵!!
Never Underestimate that paycheck power!✌️🤑
They didn’t care for a very long time about the money only when they had wives & children did it seem to matter !
JUST LIKE A SWISS WATCH!
Thanks for posting this! Anyone know why the 2nd set was so short?
It’s always a great time to be a deadhead as far as I’m concerned ! If I couldn’t c what I do I think I would just die !!!
Then there are them hot Spanish style guitar sounds Jerry makes during Let it Grow, wow..
Jerry knew what he already knew at such a young age , that’s y he looked so much older then the other guys besides the heroin ! He was old before he was ever young ! I was that way also when u suffer as a child u grow up really fast !
I never heard them sing keep ur day job ? Wow what a thing for as long as I’ve been with Gratefuldead have I ever knew this song ? Now I know y that guy who uses his name on comments lost my day job ! Yea for me because he sends me ❤️♥️I love that !
15 rooms but one will do
Jeepers, these guys were jacked as a pack of rabid jonzez, unless this video has been AI-enhanced beyond all recognition lolz
What happened to the bass channel?
It’s there but not very loud !
@@bunnybeckman8029 Damn Healey... hahah
Did they ever do this song again ? Keep ur day job ?
a whole lot especially encores in the 80s
Jerry was lean and mean.
Cookin West LA Brent us all over the mix...Only 15 rooms but 1 will do...Talking about John Belishi getting a room to do H ...
I wonder who his mistake was ? One of his wives ?
I don’t like that fade & out again ! 😊
jerry's noodling after he's gone causes a sudden departure. maybe he needed the bathroom. Terrible set
Easily the most over-rated band in the history of music.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man
@@cheesandwichfactory ... that's a lot of commas man ;) ;)
If you don’t like their music, why would you waste your time on making a negative comment? Just move along and do what makes you happy!
@@carycrediford7036 ... horrible music.
@@jefftaylor844 What's good music?
The Gratefuldead it the way they wanted to do it no one had the complete say about it ! That’s y they r so great ! ❤️💀☠️🕊🥳⭐️🪐👽🛸🕊🥰
Here's what Ginger said....she said a lot TY 🚍⚡🤡🌟..I first saw Mydland in 79 and his metamorphosis was interesting to watch He took that Rooster by the Comb later on
But I’m sorry Brent was the best ever ! RIP Jerry & Brent who I knew , thank god I did ! To hang with people like that what more can I say ?
@@bunnybeckman8029 nothing ur right
