Great walk around, liked the comment about the (commonly disconnected) stall warning horn.

Excellent pre-flight!!! Always wondered if there was anything special an aerobatic pilot did to pre-flight his plane :-)
Thanks Mr Johnston, another airworthy aircraft ;-)

How tall are you? I’m 6’2 and wondering is there room in one of these for a guy my size.

You should not have any problems fitting with your height. You will need a back chute instead of a seat parachute. I never had an issue with leg room. Most Pitts pilots wear thin sole shoes like pumas or merrell barefoot for better feeedback and to ensure ones toes are off the brakes.

How much for one of these? New and Used? Hard to fly?

I have seen used ones from £15k to £79k. I think the cheaper ones are shared with other pilots, like, you pay the 1/4th of the price if four pilots use it. Something like that.

200 hp. do you know how much thrust it produces? how much does it weigh?

It weights less than 600 kilos empty. Let's say 700 kilos with fuel and the pilot, for a 200hp engine, means 1hp for 3.5 kilos, which is great in my opinion. Also there is 260hp engine and 300hp engine too.

Shouldn't the water bottle on the breather tube have a big orange or red "Remove Before Flight" ribbon?

Flyboy BC It really doesn’t matter as long as you remember to take it off. The water bottle also helps collect anything that would otherwise leak into the ramp
