- Jefferson just keeps getting better and better in his short career. His league-leading marks in 2022 already place him sixth and seventh, respectively, all-time for receiving yards (1,809) and receptions (128) in a single season. With one of the greatest seasons by a WR ever, Jefferson was named Offensive Player of the Year and finished fifth in MVP voting, the highest placing for a non-QB this year. And he’s still just 24 years old.

That catch he made in Buffalo is one of the greatest catches of all time based on not only how difficult it was, but also reflected the magnitude of the situation that the Vikings were in when he made that catch. He truly is a generational talent who is on the path to being a first-ballot hall of famer.

Calvin Johnson had 1,964yd in 16 games in 2012. I honestly believe he would have had 2100yd+ if he had 17games. Kupp #2 1,947 in 17games. Calvin and Kupp both had/have Stafford at QB. Tyreek Hill will probably go over 2,000 this year not in 16 but 17games.

@@RuDev23 Yes he is just look at his stats and career accomplishments/records broken he's already top 15 WR all time and really close to being top 10.
Then why aren’t the Vikings winning more games? He may have great stats as an individual, but his talents aren’t reflected in team wins! The Vikings haven’t been to the Super Bowl since the 1970’s!

Amazing, that it is a team sport, this isn't the NBA. Dan Marino, Barry Sanders, Randy Moss, Bruce Smith, Tony Gonzalez, Larry Fitzgerald never won a super bowl in their careers. Why? Cause it is a team sport, they don't play defense, special teams, and can't control what the other 10 players do on the offense.
Having your best player be your wr is not the recipe for a superbowl lol. So why would he get flake for his team's performance?
@shawnanderson6313 Qb's are the only players that make a franchise a SB contender, that and defense. A great qb makes an at LEAST decent offense even if the line isn't good or the weapons aren't good. Marino has had some bad defenses BUT he's also been contributor to those loses in the playoffs. He shouldn't get a pass
