i cant even imagine the difficulty of reaching illidan phase, wiping, starting again by killing guldan, progress a bit on illidan, wiping again, starting again with guldan.... omg, that alone will drive me crazy,. anyway, gratz on kill guys. im sure it wasnt easy at all.
Marc Jerz I think he replaced Deadly Calm with Titanic Might. Since they've removed the damage reduction, Titanic might increases CS duration by 16 seconds which makes up time on one of arms vital abilities last far longer. Because let's face it, sometimes tactician never props which can really harm your dps as a arms warrior. even though he no longer can spam Fr and slam during battle cry, I think having CS up for much longer will really increase the dps in the long run.

Yes yes YES!!! After y'all kill the end boss on mythic, it just makes me so happy. Like, I don't know why but it fills me with pride seeing you guys nail it you know? That sense of accomplishment even I can feel. Amazing job as always guys, you will always be my favorite guild for everything you do and all the times you shared with us :)
The most disciplined and calm fight i have ever seen. Great job and big kudos to healers i would be OOM in phase 1. Such a beautiful fight, everyone know their place, it is like i was watching ballet. Subscribed. I can learn thing or two from this.
I like watching these vids from the healer's perspective, you get to make a connection between what's happening on screen with everybody's health bars.
I loved the very lackluster "we killed it" screams at the end knowing you didn't get world first. Compared to your world first vids, you guys were just kinda like "yeah we killed it, meh." Lol great work though, hope you guys work it out and take back WF in 7.2! I stopped playing shortly after EN and got tired of the AP grind, so props to you guys, and I love watching your kill vids.
Been dying to see the final phase. Saw Gul'Dan die and the whole guild was silent and I was like "WTF that's it?" and then The Demon Within spawns. Now I see why it took so many attempts for the world first kill - you have to defeat Gul'dan before you can even attempt the final phase, which is almost an entirely new boss. Awesome.
The way this fight is designed reminds me of Mythic Mannoroth, instead of getting the adds at the beginning(doomlords) you get them periodically midfight.
Geesus, please use some common sense. Those guys are aiming at world first, ofc there is not a huge nerdscream if they don't get it. It's just not as exciting.

Yeah they're actually in a pretty good place compared to the other hunter specs, not saying much though. All three specs are midpack/bottom of barrel right now. SV parses don't count since there are barely any of them.

Not sure what I was on, but I meant to say that it seems like SV hunters are doing better than the other two specs, according to the statistics. Yes, their statistics do not hold much weight exactly because there aren't "over a thousand shitters trying it out". Those shitters are what are putting the two main hunter specs, MM and BM, much lower, since those are the mainstream specs. If you actually go boss by boss and compare the two specs on Warcraftlogs, MM is generally outdpsing SV. That's what I mean by their current placing doesn't count.
Szeeshan Most of the damage MM gets is from padding on adds because NH is full of it. I've never been a fan of Survival (especially now that its melee) and always favored MM but in terms of boss damage Survival has them beat. Their stats are good because its mostly the dedicated players that give it a chance. You can't compare a spec made to push single target damage to a spec that thrives in AoE. Once more people see how Survival is doing then the shitters will bring their statistics down lol.
I enjoy Survival personally, just can't play it nearly as much as I want to because our raid comp is compromised of mainly melee unfortunately. As far as SV goes though single target wise, unless all the SV hunters on Warcraftlogs are performing poorly, MM is still pushing SV out of the way on even pure single target fights such as Trilliax and Krosus. Seems a bit more equal as far as Mythic parses go, but on Heroic they fall slightly behind MM. MM is nice though with the diversity, because you can either switch to a pure single target spec and pull some huge numbers, but at the same time just swap a few talents and you can pull some pretty big cleave damage as well.
As Gul'dan's health got lower and lower and the mythic only phase was getting closer, I was still curious as to what it was. I was hoping that the "master warlock" would Soul Stone himself and come back for the third phase, cuz that would have been baller. Cool fight though, and gratz guys!
I wanna see Shaleria's POV, 815k overall is pretty crazy, unless he has legendary shoulders with the trink from elisande for easy 2 min CD on meta to tie in with chaos blades and nemesis every time they're up
Ah so thats what it is.....When Gul'dan falls the Demon that Illidan consumed inside him (in order to gain power) is summoned through the nether and we kill its physical form.

I would give anything to join method. My dream has always been to be a professional wow raider. But, I never really get to raid a lot. And my guild never does any of the harder difficulties. I have always wanted to do a mythic raid. And up until now I didn't even know that illidan made an appearance as a boss in this fight. I guess I'm just not good enough for anything fun.

What hunter spec would u guys say is the best as of right now? I just got my hunter to 100 but idk what to pick :/ I love survival but it seems to be the worst
Some speccs are so weak compared to others look at rev with his warrior... holy crap!! and the look at my ww monk.. sure his gear is higher, but do like max. 15-20 gs make such an insane difference? gratz tho and Love the povs More pls
WW Monk is not that far behind overall. Top WW monk parse is about 90k dmg below top warrior for single target fights like Krosus and Trilliax. 750k vs 840k. On fights with cleave monks pull even or ahead, depending on how much cleave there is. You also have to remember that damage numbers can be inflated on a Gul'dan kill because of the time dilation buff.
TheSandros1 I was thinking the same thing today for some reason. I was thinking it might reward a secret achievement that gives " the Betrayer" title or something like that.

Paragon wiped 125 times to mar'gok whereas exorsus/method/serenity wiped within the 200-300 region on gul'dan.
