Agree but only when using hand sharping on Stone. In this case Using on opposite side (upstream) causes the belt destruction. It was the edge shaping not final shaprping. Regards
@@CuAgFe I see nothing wrong with what you did. Your only issue is removing too much material due to how aggressive the belt and the sander speed is. That said, its not like you are sharpening a rare historical item or something, so as long as it is sharper than you started, it works!
