- What does it mean to visualize 5, 10, 15 years? We see it in our children's growth. But how about our inner growth?
In this video, I am thrilled to share my thoughts on completing the 10 year journal and launching into Hobonichi 5-Year Techo as the new year unfolds.
To me, a long-term journal is a reminder to stay present, not to be afraid to feel and experience life with our hearts, and to remember that what seems the most insignificant moments are what make our lives apart from others.

So you have 2 journals now to write in?
One is ending at the end of this month and I will be starting a new one (5-year techo) from January 1st:)
Wakako just finished her 10 year journal and will start her new 5 year Hobonichi for 2019 - 2023 !

It is pricey up front but for five years it comes out to $10 a year. For a book of my life's memories that seems reasonable to me. Plus it is one book instead of having five journals to hang on to. I just receive mine and I adore it.
In 2024 I am going to start an A5 Hobonichi 5yr to chronicle my marriage from the start. I decided to get the most out of both paper and price I am going to use it for 9-10yrs, using the blank page for the extra years. Although I’m not yet sure if I will whiteout the quotes to make it 10yrs or just use it for 9.
