Well, if 18 hours of music ain't enough for you, you can upgrade the system very easily. As long as you parallel connect the batteries (mind the polarity) you can throw as many battery packs in there as there is room in the casing for. Remember to use the same type and voltage.
Of course, your charging time would be longer than the 5,5, hours it usually takes for this model speaker.

Hi, Creator, I was trying to upgrade the battery on this JBL Party Box 310 with additional same model battery in parallel (with measure correct voltage) . I find it is not possible. There should be some battery capacity measuring circuitry build on the top panel . We are not allow to increase the mAH on this BT Speaker. It is so sensitive, I first try adding 6x on each side of the Positive and 6x on the Negative and measuring the voltage output on the terminal at BMC main terminal, It indicated 8.0+/- 1 Volt. So i power it up and it goes off in seconds. I even try to reduce the cell to just 2 x on each side and it still cannot power up. When i try plug in to the a/c charging wall plug. the speaker works without issue. even after playing for an hour at 70-80 % volume. ( No issue ) . but when i turn of the main. the speaker turn off. I had double confirm that the the battery was not in anyway short circuit by measuring output from it BMS. So i suspect there is another circuitry on top panel sense that the battery capacity had been modified. Dame JBL!!!

I had the same issue. Purchased a new battery on ebay for the 300. I have the 100. Opened it up and the plastic battery connector header was only touching - not clicked down. I’d say like this from the factory. Clicked down. Now it charges. What to do with my 70$ 300 battery (it uses a diff connector header with more wires anyway. Not the same as the 100 which has less wires !!!)

I watched this video to figure how to take apart my 310 and 710 to put apple air tag in. I figured the battery had to be like 15lbs lol which would make sense why the 710 didn’t have one after already being heavy. But with that being said the 710 has 4inches between the cover and the box at the bottom so you could easily have 70+ batteries spread out over the bottom.
