- I made a coffee table out of an old fallen tree with a hollow (linden). In addition to linden, I used alder and willow. Filled with epoxy resin, covered with oil with hard wax.

I think you table is awesome. I only have an imagination without the knowledge and experience to do it myself, however. I think this table top would have been awesome had you been able to make an illuminated lava flow with the illusion like it was flowing beneath the surface of the table.
( lava flow at half the depth of the table topped with a clear resin top surface. Then somehow place fairy lights or illuminated light strips within the lava to make it appear like it's still hot )

Great job. I love the legs . I can't stand seeing a beautiful wood top with metal legs. I made every table in my house and I also have made several coffee tables for gifts and they have became the recipients favorite piece of furniture. Thanks for the video

That is a beautiful piece of work brother. I have watched a lot of epoxy videos and the project always turns further away from wood and ends up being 60 to 95 percent epoxy, the color scheme is perfect . It is really beautiful and I bet the piece of trunk like that is a very rare find. Thank you for the video.

Good point about the use of epoxy and wood. Here, the focus is definitely a (beautiful) wooden table; the epoxy is like the frame around a 'painting'.
I like it. I'm normally not a huge fan of epoxy tables, but it takes a back seat to the wood here, and it really came out nice.
