Our cartridge fits and holds just by friction. There is noticeable click when the cartridge is pushed down into the mop and seated in, as designed. Getting the cartridge off, on our model anyway, is matter of putting fingers through the loop and pulling up parallel with the mops handle. My rhetorical question for Bona is... who was the company executive that approved the cartridge top being rounded, instead of being flat and enabling the cartridge to be filled while it was standing up on it's own?
I would like to know how to fix the Bona Mop when it quits spraying. I've only had mine a coupe months. I have pulled the cartridge in and out several times. I have made sure the handle is in correctly, and it still won't spray. It spits out a couple drops.
My moms did this. I realized pushing the bottle down while spraying will let it work. So I taped it in after every refill. For the long term I would put some knobs on the body so you can use rubber bands to do the same. But I think this is a design issue. Still a great mop.
Sprayer stops spraying - often. Ah pushing down on the top/vent I noticed air bubbles coming up, guess it just needs air flow in order to spray correctly. Works.
I do not know who has made this video - they even do not show how to REFILL the Bona liquid container (specially how to open that plastic container) and they talk about using and maintaining the spray mop - ridiculous !!!
She did unscrew the top and pour more cleaning fluid in the bottle. So as she did it, pull bottle up, use hand to unscrew cap of bottle, pour in cleaning fluid, screw on cap, and replace bottle. It's in the video. Watch the whole video.
This video says nothing about troubleshooting and maintaining the mop. It only talks about how to use the Bona to clean floors
How do you refill the bottle?
my spray handle has become tight and difficult to use. Can I use WD40 on it?
How do you get the refill bottle out of the mop

My cartridge LEAKS

Maintenance is the name of the video, not how to fill the bottle.

You are right. The only thing it says about maintaining the mop is wash the pad. What about the mop itself?
