Question, with your experience would you say this is not for the person that wants to do this a side gig? For example in my case, I have a full time job and I work at night from 10pm-6am so my day starts at about 1pm. I do have some time to work a side gig for 2-3 hrs a day from 1pm-4pm, would this be something that could work for me? I currently to Food delivery apps, but if these medical delivery pay better the Miles to Pay ratio makes more sense I would rather switch to Medical Courier. I live in San Diego, CA pretty big city with over 1.5M population. Any advice ? Thank you in advance! :)
Hello SaL, If you can find a medical courier gig that is structured similar to the food delivery apps where you can pick and choose your orders, that would be great. As far as medical courier vs food service its a hard call because gas prices are crazy and any type of driving at this time may eat away at your profits unless you have an electric vehicle(lol). Best advice, do your research and see what you can find with regard to mileage and incentives for both medical and food. Courier companies may pay incentives because they know that gas is killing us. I also encourage you to think about starting a UA-cam channel to vlog your journey. What you are doing is interesting to more people than you can imagine. Peace, Love and Prosperity SaL!
If your take home is $32k a year doing this in profits after expenses (not taxes) then it's not terrible but not fantastic either. As a side hustle, that pre-determined schedule scares me away since I work remotely right now and need to work when I want whenever I want and make money per trip. If this were your only source of income, that's still not bad considering you work for yourself. I don't imagine you'd can afford a lot with that budget even as a single adult male/female trying to live on your own but probably pairing it with affiliate marketing would balance it out.
Yes, my situation was unique. The predetermined schedule was a problem for me because it did not allow me to do anything else. I was committed to a set time which was problematic. However, the experience was invaluable as this was my first time working in this field as an Independent courier. I wanted to be transparent about the hours I agreed to as well as the $$ made and expenses that I incurred. This particular gig was not sustainable however, if you get a gig that works for you, this is an opportunity that can make some decent cash. Check out my previous video on "How To Get Started As A Medical Courier in 2022" JT Automations provides information on how to make a decent salary as a courier as well. Great video. Usually when I make 1500 on gig work i spend around 200 on gas. So I net around 1300. I can write the miles off. So not bad for just driving my car around.
10:40 - Same here , perfect , so what is the best way to find medical courier work . I have a Honda Accord … do I go to medical places and just ask them ?
Hello, check out my video titled "Medical Courier: How to Get Started in 2022. That video will give you information on how to get started. Peace, Love, and Prosperity on your Journey!
Hello Afiya Stokes, Although I did not have a full-time job when I worked, I would say it all depends on your contract. If you have a contract that has evening and weekend routes then you should not have a problem. The company that I contracted with was primarily weekdays with no weekend runs. I recommend making sure those things that you need are available before you invest in a van. Wishing you Peace, Love, and Prosperity on your journey.
Hello Torleda, The mileage and the gas varied as it just depended on how many runs I had for that day or week. On average, I would say that I would drive any where from 50-100 miles per day. My car is good on gas so even though the prices were high, I would spend between $20-$30 per week. Gas and mileage is really going to depend on the business and how it is set up. For me, there were days when I only made 2 runs for the entire day and other days when I made 10. I hope that was helpful.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Do you happen to know whether or not if I start a Courier business under my LLC, that I can then employ my daughter who got a DUI a year ago, work for me? She is having a hard time finding a job and so I just want to help her out. Are there companies that you can get a contract under who let you take on the responsibility for the employees that you hire or are they also looking at your employees that work for you? Thank you
This is a good question I'm actually trying to do this samething for someone. I want to say yes cause i seen someone say thats why you dont have to get drug tested for some of these companies because when you have your own business your assuming the liability for the employees that you hire under your LLC but don't quote me on that I'm still doing my own research on it too.
That's a great question. I would assume if you are starting your own Courier business where you have your own contracts and not sub-contracting for another business, I would think that you could employ whoever you want. I do know that when you work as an independent contractor for other companies, many will require a printout of your driving record. I hope that was helpful.
You didn't really make 670 dollars after you take off taxes and anytime you move your vehicle for a delivery you need to also take out a maintenance fee at least 5 to 10 dollars.
Hi Christina, I am in Virginia. New York is a totally different type of beast but I'm sure it could work. I watched a video of an Uber Driver in NY and he made lots of money just doing uber. Good Morning, For me no, I have moved on. However, I believe that it is always a viable business as long as goods need to be transported. The key is either to start your own small courier service and try to get contracts from other companies or do like I did and work independently for a company. There were personal reasons why this did not work for me however, It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to be a courier.

I would check logistic companies in your area. Also, try Indeed. Type in Medical Courier and they should be able to give you companies to check out.
I hope this was helpful.

Hello Marco,
I recommend researching companies in your area. Try to search for Independent Contractor Medical Courier or Logistics. Also, check out Indeed.
Best of luck and have a prosperous 2022!

Am in NC where can I get FREE medical Courier TRAINING
Hello and my apologies for the delayed response.
To be honest, there is really no training. The company that you contract for will tell you what you need to do. For me, all I needed was:
-reliable transportation
-reliable phone
-money for gas
-cooler (required by the company)
-gloves/mask
-car insurance
Again, the company you contract for will give you more specifics.
Where are you located? I’m in the SF BayArea.
I am in Virginia.

How do you find these medical cariers?
Hello Callisto,
Stay tuned for my next video as I will give more information on how to become a courier. Until then, try Indeed, Lensa and ZipRecruiter. Type in Independent Courier or Medical courier for your area.
I will be doing another video shortly as many people are asking how do they get started.
I hope that was helpful. Peace, Love and Prosperity to you in 2022!
Can I contact you and get some pointers?

Not $670 after taxes.
Hi It4,
This is a small amount when you hear about the amounts that can be made as a courier. I had to be totally honest about my journey and $670 is what I made.
Blessings to you!
Wow that’s like $94 an hour but is this consistent
Hi Ronnie,
Nothing is really consistent unless you are the owner and operator of your own business.
Most people are liars online to just get youtube subscribers
Do u work for an app
Hi Koko Kat,
When I was driving I worked directly with the company and not an app. All my orders were fielded through a live dispatcher.
Is this business still viable?
Good Morning,
For me no, I have moved on.
Anyone in here from Fayetteville,NC?
VA in the house!
I’m in Raleigh, NC
