Hello, I loved your works and I very love to learn and draw islamic patterns! You teach me a lot of how to color and draw these patterns and i Love drawing them! Keep up the good work and stay teaching our our Muslims culture and styles!
Ps : I suggest if youre muslim say Assalamualaikum to people... I know you think theres non-Muslims watching but that doesnt mean +Warahmatullah just say the salam because people will know and learn muslim better even non-Muslims...😊
Glad you enjoyed my tutorial, thank you for you kind words!
p.s.You didnt say salaam to me, you said hello. I appreciate your suggestion, but it amazes me how people give out advice they dont follow themselves.
@@samiramian oh Sorry... Assalamualaikum😅

Beautiful ma'am... Thank for sharing
Most welcome 😊
Love from Bangladesh dear ❤️❤️❤️
thank you!!
Love the pattern, absolutely killed it with the intro with all the shape names esp loving the Pakistani accent- may be less authentic but it made so much sense to this Pakistani 🙋🏻♀️ when I realised how they're literally every day words. 🙌🏼♥️
I'm one of your biggest fans any way but this has just got to be one of the best tutorials yet. Just started this series today, can't wait for the rest ♥️ jzkA khayr for all the hard work you put into explaining so so well
And I love the snippets of background info on the patterns! Thank you for those too!
aww thank you so mich Aisha! this one took such a long time to get done! kept fluffing my words!! and so really appreciate it when people take the time to feedback so kindly!! Lots of love and duas to you! Enjoy the #fivefoldfun!
I drew the tiles from the book last week and I drew them in a completely different way. I wanted them to have independent edges so used three separate decagons. I also superimposed them onto the same decagon just for fun.
I find watching your way very interesting!
cool! there usually are a couple of ways to reach the same outcome, so always interesting to compare. Which book are you talking about?
@@samiramian I just happened to stumble upon the appendices in ‘Designa’. The contents of the appendices don’t seem to be included in the index. I followed the diagrams below the ‘ how to construct a decagon’ drawings. I’d like to make tiles so I’m hoping my drawings are accurate!
@dave gillett Got it! Yes that's definitely another way to construct it, the mid points of the polygon's sides quite often, but not always give the same star patterns.
@@samiramian I have just managed to complete the other Girih tiles by drawing the hexagon (sorry I can’t remember the correct name for it) outside the decagon rather than inside it. I assumed that I could draw an arc with the compass as well as connecting points.
So beautiiii. Amazing. .Thankssss for sharing .
My pleasure 😊
You are so graet🥰😍😍😍
Amei!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!!
hi samira
its first time to follow you to learn more about islamic patterns
but i need to know is it just drawing on paper or there are another usage for it
thanks alot
it's uses are as much or as limited as your imagination
Hello. I have just started to following the channel. would you please show me the first step in Islamic art?(first video to watch)
see www.samiramian.uk/youtube for suggested starting points 😁
What is the name of the tracing paper. The one I got looks different.
it's perhaps a bit thicker, but any tracing paper can work, see my recommendations on www.samiramian.uk/equipment
from where can i buy these islamic geometric books?
please see www.samiramian.uk/books
Cant this pattern be made without using the tracing paper? If yes, then how ?
Gosh no please or thanks. You realise I'm under no obligation to help/answer anyone, especially those who lack courtesy, entitled and talk to me like I work for them.
@@samiramianI didn't mean any disrespect..and you don't work for me, and I didn't ask to literally *show* me how to to it, but just an overlooked idea...If any way i was disrespectful, then I sure am really sorry😕😕
@@samiramian I am fascinated of your work and was just wondering what if it can ve done that way....no offense but if that's the way you precieve my comment or idea, then I dont know what to say🤷
an apology is more than enough, the plain/direct nature of the quesitons may work in the middle of a conversation, or with someone you know, but that was neither...so do consider that before posting.
