Totally agreed with you that experience is must and people with basics often loose their reputation as consultant. I may sound bias but experience is must, I've agreed with your statement.
Great videos Rob. As a recent MBA graduate with 26 years experience running my own business, I find myself gravitating toward pursuing a new career path in management consulting. Your videos are clear, concise and to the point. Thanks for the effort you have put into creating content with true value!
You are just remarkable to listen to Rob. Thanks so much for your channel and gifting us with your time. You are clearly an expert in Management Consulting and the ones who are serious are listening.

Great video. I'd add organisation to the list. From a brief stint as a solo consultant I can say if you can't get your workflow under control, you'll struggle as independents wear a lot of hats!!
Hie Rob, previously you mentioned your intent to start a management consulting course. Where are you on this great initiative? I am very interested in the course. Your videos are of good content.
Hi. I was thinking of it, but there isn’t really enough interest sadly. As I have 3 businesses to run, I can’t really afford the time to build a training course if the interest is not there
Very helpful and well explained videos, Rob! I am finishing my IB high school next year, and I am considering to continue with Business and Economics BA degree. Do you consider it a good base before pursuing MA in Consulting & what are some other good fields for BA? :)
One of those impossible questions really. Depends what you want to consult in really. Your BA is a good start. They do an MA in consulting now? (share the link) 🙂 I think an MBA would be more useful myself.
Program? I've considered creating a training program for consultants...... But really there is not a lot of interest. And there are lots of programs out there already.
Hi Lucas. Sadly I don't do 1 on 1 coaching if that is what you had in mind. I already work 80-90 hours a week running three businesses. Just no time. The best thing is to follow me on linkedin and send me a message there. Be sure to add a 'note' to the message so I know you came from here. www.linkedin.com/in/robobyrne/
I will say it again that You're a only true consultant on UA-cam.
Kind of you to say so.

It's kind of 'cheating' the client without it I think.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm only sorry that my 'day job' and my 'main' channel don't allow me much time to make more videos here.
Great inputs...Get well soon... Courageous of you to have spared your time even when not too well
my pleasure

Yep! I think I had 5 or 6 'hats' when I started. Now I have 1/2 a hat. And can take as much leave as I like......
