  • ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
It's always fun testing new machines. With this one I even had a laugh. The Gemoro Ultra Spa is an ultrasonic device AND steam cleaner in one. So I was very curious to see how this one would work. Especially since it comes for just a fraction of the price of a lot of other ultrasonic devices (without the steam function).

Hi I am from USA. I am a beginner of jewelry making. I want to know how do I get shiny polished gold and silver rings. I mean how do I go step by step. My trainer never showed me.

To celebrate your subscriber milestone, you could have your own rock concert with that steam cloud! Have a great day, and thanks for all you do, including putting up with my corny jokes.

May be a small hose attached to the tip would be good to direct steam in the right direction.

Basically they are toys, no comparison with pro units

I am going to find out soon enough. I unplugged my regular ultrasonic device and placed this one on my bench. I'll let you know in some time how I feel about it then.

Bedankt Bregje! Thank you. This was an excellent demo. That is certainly an affordable little ultrasonic machine. I don't have one because I could not find a reliable machine and all of them seemed to be made in China. Reviews were mixed, mostly bad on Amazon cleaners. I am very glad I saw this video today. I am more interested in your own ultrasonic cleaner the Elma Elmasonic. Could you please do a video on this machine? What size is it? How easy to drain out? Heat works well? Cavitation rate listed or demo on how well it cleans. What size machine do you use? (This tells me what size I may need). I would LOVE to see a video on your machine. I need to buy one because I had a house fire. All my jewelry got burned, soot all over it, partially melted, plastic wrap melted over pieces, a real mess. I have to clean everything up again. I badly need a powerful ultrasonic cleaner. A lot of ceramic pieces got dirty too. This is the only thing that will help me.
Gemoro Spa $219 in USA. Ultrasonic + Steam Clean. Cons: No heating in Cleaner tub and no easy draining. Not good.
Made in China. That figures. I don't know why the Chinese don't do quality control as well as the Japanese. If they did, along with cheap prices, they would be king. They do these irritating things like making it hard to empty out and no heat. Are you kidding? These are two VERY IMPORTANT FEATURES of an ultrasonic cleaner.
I was more impressed with your Elma Elmasonic S10H Ultrasonic Cleaner, however! This is made in Germany.
Yours is 220V but they make 110V as well for US market as the 10H model.
Buy from PMC Supplies (wholesale prices shop for retail) for $394 for the 1/4 gal size. Not sure if it comes with lid, basket, etc but these can be improvised. German quality beats Chinese quality for important things like Ultrasonic cleaners.
The Elmasonic is medical grade equipment so much more pricey. The cavitation reaches into all corners of the basket, water can be heated to a precise temp, etc. Cavitation (sound pulsing that cleans) is not equal in every ultrasonic cleaner. This rate is the key determining factor in any cleaner. Like RPM for a laundry spinner. The higher the rate, the better the cleaning.
I like PMC's rock bottom pricing and fast shipping. A very good company more wholesale than retail and they deliver the goods. I got all kinds of supplies at cheap rates, lots from China, and when something got broken, they shipped another one out immediately with no fuss. Great company.

Thanks for the fair and honest review/demo and congratz on reaching 60k subs. A 120v - 240v switch on the rear would be nice and a footpedal for the steam would make it a little safer.
