Jayden had broken the record for completion percentage for any 4 game stretch in NFL history over Brees, Brady, & Manning, and in that stretch had more scoring drives than incompletions went 2 + games without a punt. That's why he's gotten all the attention & hype not because he blew out the Browns & Cardinals. The last point is Washington was that bottom tier team hence why they had #2 overall pick. Washington is not the most talented team Vegas had them winning 6 games & even at 5-2 team have major holes especially on defense, OLine & WR. Without Jayden they would probably be 2-5 vs 5-2.
Nick is right with the Ribs on this occasion. Bruised ribs take longer than u think. Lamar & Goff should b above Mahomes. Geno shouldn't even b up that high, A back up most his career, just come off 3 straight losses till the other day

But week 4 through 6 caleb has been better... its rich hearing everybody discredit caleb wins against bad defenses but say jayden wins against bad teams are legit. A bad defense is a bad defense. Yes jayden overall year has been better. But i dont think thats how he grades it.
1st off, the Mahomes mountain thing is absurd. 2nd it’s too early to make a judgement on any of these guys. Sam Donald anyone? 3rd all these talking heads outside of a few like Kurt Warner or Mike Wilbon are idiots…
And....most importantly, JD5 does MORE with LESS. JD5 has 1 very good WR and a bunch of supporting receivers. Caleb has an all star line up of receivers but yet he's not utilizing them as he should..yet.
Wright isn't necessarily going in on Jayden. I say this because probably a third (33%) of even Commander's fans have voiced concern over JD5's size. This is a legitimate concern. But even though the Commanders lost to Tampa....Baker has no business being above JD5. If this were a one on one sport where u don't hafta depend 10 other teammates we could see where Baker above Daniels is absurd. I would put Caleb closer to Daniels than Baker.
I don't think your size has anything to do with your ribs getting busted. That's not something you can prevent, anyone is susceptible to these types of injuries. This guy is just trying to find content and talking about Jayden because he has nothing else to think of. But Jayden's injury is not uncommon and it's reflective on his body type. Jayden is getting hit because he's the type of quarterback who is running more than most and that's what makes him unique. He also doesn't just dive or run out of bounds like other quarterbacks and he takes hits because he's fighting for yards, so it's not really a body type thing. 🙄
@@JWLSports Working out at the gym isn't going to change that. And as a QB you want to play with a body type that you feel comfortable in, not bulk up. That position is also about flexibility. Tennis players have super lean body types, they need it to whip that ball, same with baseball pitchers, when they throw many of them are pretty clean and not bulky, bulkiness can actually hinder your movement and flexibility. When people tell him to bulk up, I don't think they actually played sports other than power positions.
1. working out exactly does have tremendous impact on bone health, 2. It's not just a matter of working out, the argument is that he's of slender frame, whether he works out or not his frame is smaller which would technically put you at a greater injury risk
@@JWLSports Working out isn't going to make any change to your bones that are noticeable. It's not like muscle mass. I didn't say you shouldn't be working out, all NFL players work out. Some things are more or less how they are due to genetics. The whole thing about Jayden mainly came up because he was taking big hits. Those hits come because he made the decision to run in the line of the defender instead of running to the sideline or diving (like most quarterbacks) that's the main difference and that's why he's taking hits.
I guess all players this year that has been injured are all too small . The amount of players this season in IR is outrageous. It’s called tackle football doesn’t matter how big you are in stature you get hit the wrong way you could get injured. That’s the case for 49ers , Tampa, browns, panthers & other teams that has suffered the injury bug
Julian, the Mahommes Mountain is a week to week climb. Every QB has a chance to rise or fall based on WEEKLY performance. In recent weeks Caleb has been better than Jayden. If the season started week 4, Caleb is front runner for ROTY. It’s pretty simple. If the season ended today, Jayden is ROTY. For Jayden to keep his standing, his trajectory has to stay the same, or go up. Caleb- 📈 Jayden- 📉
Caleb with two 300 yard games in the last 4 weeks, JD with zero. Caleb with 9 TDs in the last 4 weeks, JD with 4. Your guy is a running back who got hurt running the ball. Those are facts bro.

Remind me how many superbowls and conference title games Andy Reid QB whispered his way into before Mahomes. Lets not rewrite history now, Andy was the guy that could not get it done.
Andy Reids wins with just the eagles had him top 30 on wins of all time. Obviously if he kept coaching with the eagles it would continue to rise. His playoff wins alone with Philly puts him in top 10 of all time, and his win % would be 8th all time. He was literally one of the greatest coaches of all time just with the eagles alone. Without a hall of fame QB. During his 14-year tenure with the Eagles, Reid compiled the best win total (120), winning percentage (609) and playoff victory total (10) in team history. 159] He captured six division titles and five trips to the NFC Championship game. During this period, no other franchise earned more divisional playoff round appearances (7) and only Bill Belichick's New England Patriots exceeded Philadelphia's (5) conference championship game appearances with (6) Reid sent 19 players to 44 Pro Bowl appearances, the highest total for any team in the NFL during that period. None of these players had ever appeared in a Pro Bowl before Reid was hired This isn't an opinion. His resume with the eagles alone was hall of fame. It's the literal general consensus. Not my personal opinion.
@@JWLSports This is all true. What is also true is that he had 0 superbowls before Mahomes. Mahomes bailed the cheifs out all through the 1st run to get Andy over the hump. The difference between Andy Reid and Kyle Shanahan is Mahomes.

Reid lead the Eagles to a single super bowl which he lossed. With Mahomes they've never missed a conference championship and have won 3. Yes it contextualizes Mahomes to a degree, but no where near that much. It's just data points. It's not so black and white
The concern on Jayden's success being closely tied to the OC and the system vs Mahomes/ Reid is that the OC is likely to leave off the back of the shared success, while Andy isn't going anywhere. A QB as a prospect is judged based on his floor and ceiling. A coordinator/ coach is based on how close to that ceiling he can push the QB. Caleb's ceiling is higher than Jayden's. Daniels' floor might be higher, but hopefully we never find out. Kingsbury and his offense is getting more out of his QB immediately. Don't be surprised when Caleb has surpassed Daniels as he gets more comfortable in a pro-style offense, and as the league figures out how to slow down Cliff's system.
I understand Nick's point RE: Jayden's injury. That was not a big NFL hit he got knocked out of the game on. It was a pretty typical, run of the mill NFL collision. Comparatively, Caleb was getting CRUSHED in weeks 1 and 2, and to a lesser degree week 3, by much bigger bodies, against the Titans, Texans and Colts, and he appears to be significantly more durable against the regular wear and tear of NFL play.
@@som3839 100%. Non-contact injuries are fluke things that represent a small percentage of overall injuries and will affect most players at the same rate. Maybe older players like Aaron Rodgers are at a higher risk as their connective tissues are not a pliable as that of a younger player. But this completely ignores the fact that contact injuries are way more common, and Jayden Daniels has a history of getting lit up and knocked out of games because of his slight frame, and that is against much smaller, slower, less skilled opponents who are not playing to feed their families. So he is at a HIGHER risk of injury in a contact sport where most injuries are contact injuries. I’m not rooting for that outcome. Seems like a great young man and a mega talent. But let’s not pretend that this is not a legitimate concern.

I can't believe that guy still has a TV job at this point.. 🤷🏽♂️
Fun to talk about stats 7 games in here’s some context now. For example, JD hasn’t faced a single D in top ten. Caleb’s first two games against #1 D titans/ #2 D Houston. Since then Caleb passer rating 109.5 / Jayden rating 108.35…..
ravens are 22nd total D and dead last vs pass
Cards 27th
Panthers 30th
Browns 13th (dead last on OFF)
Bengals 22nd
Bucs 31st
Since week 3
Goff 140.8
Lamar 133.1
Burrow 112.7
Caleb 109.5
Jayden 108.35
Lot of football left. Both these dudes are good. Let’s see how it pans out
I don’t see any way wash plays Jayden against the Bears. Bears are 5th on D and since the addition of Montez Sweat in week 8 of last year, have allowed the fewest points in the NFL. But If he does play it’ll be fun to watch
I find it funny his hate for mariota I guess when titans put them out a few years ago he is still salty. Man has crazy takes
I’m a Skins fan, but I have to agree, JD5 is too skinny for all those designed runs. I also concerned that me might currently be too frail. He needs to gain 15 pounds of muscle. HTTR!
A lot of the crap analysts say just garbage right. JD clearly got a better start but it’s too early to start comparing these two dudes. It’s not just QB play right. It’s how the team and coaching affect the game as well. Anyone comparing QBs into 6 games are just seeking attention.
Facts! 💯
Nick Wright is a football genius.
Nick comparing his non athletic body to Jayden is hilarious 😂
bro, like you said.... JD taken way less sacks than Caleb yet JD already injured. dude is a fragile running back.
I absolutely hate the system QB non sense. I’m guessing Jordan love is a system QB too with the way Malik Willis stepped in right ?!
Big Facts
Nick would get his ass kicked by Jayden. 😂😂😂😂 Look at his beak. 😂😂
His Mariota comment was so passive aggressive, imagine a player having a similar skill set to another and him having similar success? This dude is mad that Jayden is playing so well, i wish he just come out and say, he doesnt like him, cause he's has been playing better than Caleb..
3:59 18 yard difference where Jayden literally didn’t play an entire game. He sat an entire fourth quarter of a game as well. Stop this tomfoolery bruh
Would love to have a conversation with you about the Cheifs
Gotta ignore guys like this. They want u to change ur game but it always makes u play weird. One reason for his success so far is that they let him use his talents his way 🤷🏾♂️. This analyst who never played can go somewhere
Look man. I’m probably the odd man out here. But in this video you claim Caleb hasn’t played a good defense and that’s not true. Caleb has played 2 top 10 passing defenses in his first 2 games in the NFL. Jayden on the other hand has yet to play a top 10 passing defense. Y’all talking about the Ravens like the secondary ain’t been getting whooped all damn year
Exactly
It really blows my mind. Especially hearing dude react to nick. He always defended caleb. But now he used those same tactics to discredit caleb so he can boost up jayden.
How did Caleb do vs those teams??? Just asking for a friend?
@@Highspeed30 not good. I’m not denying that. But Jayden hasn’t played experienced it yet and people want to crown him already. And the first game he gets with a top passing defense he may not play. Lol. Regardless I hope he plays Sunday
@@ChrisCurrie-qn2pg Jayden is not getting all the praise because only because of getting, 4 wins it's how he did it. He's won in record of breaking fashion and on the biggest stage on Monday night football vs Joe Burrow he out dueled him on the road on prime time set NFL record for completion percentage with 91% and hit Scary Terry on that signature play to ice the game getting hit while dropping it in the bucket for the game.
Geno shouldn't even b up that high, A back up most his career, just come off 3 straight losses till the other day
this mountain tier changes every week based on how the qb plays. Minus Patrick mahomes.... yes jayden started off hotter then caleb. But week 4 through 6 caleb has been better... its rich hearing everybody discredit caleb wins against bad defenses but say jayden wins against bad teams are legit. A bad defense is a bad defense. Yes jayden overall year has been better. But i dont think thats how he grades it.
How does someone like him get a job like this. What are his credentials.
He’s not wrong tho if Jayden gets lit up with these injured ribs he’s done for the season. No amount of padding can protect him.
1st off, the Mahomes mountain thing is absurd. 2nd it’s too early to make a judgement on any of these guys. Sam Donald anyone? 3rd all these talking heads outside of a few like Kurt Warner or Mike Wilbon are idiots…
We don't care what Tom Green thinks. Tell him to look up JD5 game vs Mizzou
And....most importantly, JD5 does MORE with LESS. JD5 has 1 very good WR and a bunch of supporting receivers. Caleb has an all star line up of receivers but yet he's not utilizing them as he should..yet.
RGknee went longer without missing games from injury 😢 I’m just going to keep JD health status in my prayers every night ❤
That means absolutely nothing, also JD injury is not even in the same stratosphere as Robert.
Your size can because you have things like bone density and such
@@JWLSports Working out at the gym isn't going to change that.
1. working out exactly does have tremendous impact on bone health,
Weight baring exercises are crucial to bone health. This can't even be argued.
Whatever happened to flack jackets?
😮
JADEN DANIELS ALL THE WAY!
😊
Jayden also better oline and the college offense
also nick doesn’t hope he wrong about him like nick be mad as hell lmao
Julian, the Mahommes Mountain is a week to week climb. Every QB has a chance to rise or fall based on WEEKLY performance. In recent weeks Caleb has been better than Jayden. If the season started week 4, Caleb is front runner for ROTY. It’s pretty simple. If the season ended today, Jayden is ROTY. For Jayden to keep his standing, his trajectory has to stay the same, or go up.
Caleb- 📈
Jayden- 📉
Jayden needs to start eating out with Oprah and Lizzo. Skinny problem solved in less than a week!
Titans has number 1 defense
Caleb with two 300 yard games in the last 4 weeks, JD with zero. Caleb with 9 TDs in the last 4 weeks, JD with 4. Your guy is a running back who got hurt running the ball. Those are facts bro.
J D sat the 4th Quarter twice so what’s your point
Did Burrow/Brady get hurt standing in the pocket Jack ssa ?
@@Whatspoppin5 not as much as JD. dude barely got touched. dude is Justin fields only skinnier

Jayden is a dog and different and not to knock Caleb but if we were l comparing I think nick as a analyst ranks dead last on his pro football takes in my opinion so mb we should pull his stats😅#HAIL COMMANDERS 💪
Mariota played against the Panthers, nick is clueless!
During this period, no other franchise earned more divisional playoff round appearances (7) and only Bill Belichick's New England Patriots exceeded Philadelphia's (5) conference championship game
appearances with (6)
Reid sent 19 players to 44 Pro Bowl appearances, the highest total for any team in the NFL during that period. None of these players had ever appeared in a Pro Bowl before Reid was hired
This isn't an opinion.
Jayden has definitely got off to a better start than Caleb and I’m a Bears fan. I think they are on different paths. To me it looks like Caleb is being asked to do more than what Jayden is being asked to do. Jayden looks like he’s running what he did in college. It’s like they are keeping it simple for him. That’s what my eyes tell me. Curious what you think.
He's changing calls on the line definitely not college, most have a play card on there wrist because they haven't learned all the plays
@@bruceware897Every quarterback in the NFL has plays on their wrists. Both are doing extremely well, however Caleb is running no huddle in an NFL offense as a rookie. I haven’t seen Jayden do that yet. If I’m mistaken, my bad.

@@Highspeed30Whose trying to discredit anyone? What part of my bad if I’m wrong don’t you understand???
The Bears Offensive weapons are stacked !!!
Once again Mr Wright is wrong don't understand this guy logical
Nick has a point. After all Daniels is the first QB in history to ever get injured. Wait, there was that other frail guy Anthony Richardson, but he's a strait twig. Not a lick of muscle on him.
Well that’s just “running” qbs though… “pocket” passers like Aaron Rodgers, Matthew stafford, Joe burrow, and Ben roethlisberger actually never get hurt… oh wait 😂
Mahomes never got knocked out of playoff game and needed a backup QB to beat the browns. 😂
@@JWLSports How did Mahomes hurt you that you have to throw him under every passing bus? Go watch his highlights when he had good weapons and the team needed to score a bunch to win. Go listen to breakdowns by the Kurt Warners and JT O Sullivans about what makes him special.
I know the media is insufferable once they elect someone king, but Mahomes really is the king till someone knocks off his team. Look at how players, not the media, players vote him the best in the league each year. Andy Reid would have zero SB wins without Mahomes. He's no QB whisperer.
I get the feeling your just like Nick. Holding onto bad takes far too long and grasping at straws to prove yourself Wright.
There is a cartoonish highlight reel of Jayden being tossed like a rag doll in college. Did you really not expect that to happen at the next level?
@@l9o6p7a3k4a That's enough reason to wonder if he will be able to avoid contact at the next level, but it's not the final word. So far he's done better than expected on that front and has probably finished more games than Anthony Richardson has at this point. Players can learn and adapt and one injury doesn't mean all the doubters are right, It's not like he's having a RGIII sort of season.
lmao i agree with you 1000% here
Can't really compare. Caleb had a streeper learning curve..2.5 years in college compared to five for daniels. Plus they have caleb doing far more under center which will benefit him more down the road
Nah Nick Wright is on to something. If a rookie has no bad games and by far is better than any QB in the league then a ok QB comes in and starts cooking 🧑🍳. Yeah it’s system.
Alex Smith had his best years with Andy Reid and even made the playoff. So I guess that means Mahomes is just a system QB. 😂
@@JWLSports personally I never understood the Alex smith love he was a decent QB but he wasn’t anything near an unstoppable force. Not really the same unless you feel Alex Smith was all that
@@JWLSportsIt’s like some people in the NBA were skeptical of Mike Dentoni run and him offense with little defense. Some systems are what they are. Some systems just don’t work over time. They get stats tho.
He a Caleb William fan only one of the few 😂🎉 go bears
Nick only loves Patty
Jayden passes the eye test.
Lmao "you dont lose your job to injury" HA tony romo probably disagrees
@@groverrogers6916 Alex Smith too. Injured and benched for Colin Kaepernick
It wasn't a hit to his ribs but how he got folded up on the tackle... There's 💯 % chance of getting hurt playing in NFL for every player
There are non contact injuries as well so “run of the mill” means nothing when literally every snap a player is risking injury no matter the position.
JD is a fragile running back and that entire offense is based on his legs.
Caleb is better
He is frail, he was frail in college.
Everybody gets injured man smfh… sick these narratives that the media pushes..
Nick done bumped his head
btw, when JD beat the Bengals, they had zero wins. winless. so stop pushing the narrative that JD beat a bunch of 3 win teams. you're just as intellectually dishonest as Nick. pathetic. JD is a fragile running back. dude barely got touched, now he's hurt?
nick mad as hell
Only thing thats frails is nick's wicked witch beak of nose he is the new skip bayless with his favoritism to his "guys" it sells in the media but not to real fans that watch the NFL
I'm a redskins fan, and my excitement for the team is completely gone. You can say I'm dramatic, but I've seen this before. I actually don't give a fuck about JD5 anymore because I just know he's gonna get hurt again many times throughout his career, especially with Kliff calling plays. Like god damn man - I actually hate running QB's so much man.
He is 210 bigger than you are
Caleb comp is Aaron Rodgers/Mahomes. JD comp is Lamar/Mike Vick. Both good, but the running-back-style QBs are not sustainable, and they have never won a ring. Also, Caleb is 100x more talented as a passer. That's why he got 50% more passing TDs than JD. JD got more rushing TDs tho, cuz he a running back first.
Caleb has played better than Jayden the past 3 games. Watch the games clown. Too many people are on social media that don't know shit about ball.

Caleb is better than Jayden. That much will be proven this week
The Narative:
1. If he does play: bears lose Jayden is better. Bears win Jayden still is better.
1. If he doesn’t play: Bears won but Jayden didn’t play. Bears lose and still couldn’t beat them because he didn’t play.
Not a single one will benefit Caleb view. As a NFL he should just worry about getting to playoffs not a single game and narratives. Forget Rookie of the year.
For the sake of the argument since people like to argue it. Both better play.
If Jayden plays and Caleb out performs him, trust that there will be people that will start to put Caleb above Jayden. But let's not forget that Jayden has been out performing Caleb all season even though Jayden has less offensive weapons and a much worse defense. I expect both QB's to play well come Sunday to be honest. At the end of the day both teams should be confident with who they drafted

@@Kisewillmadeit It's not lose lose though. Jayden has been out performing Caleb for majority of the season and should be ranked higher than him right now. If Jayden is healthy enough to play and gets out performed by Caleb, any logical NFL fan will start to at least consider the margin between Caleb and Jayden is very very slim if not equal. Only casuals will bring up his rib injury as to why he did not perform well. Caleb needs to win AND outperform Jaden and I will consider this a WIN situation for Caleb, and this is coming from a commanders fan. He has a chance to prove to the country why he was the 1 overall pick.
Will he do it???? I don't think so lol
Hahahaha what? That is not the narrative. Daniels is better than Williams right now, with or without the injury. It’s very very clear
Bro, stop glazing JD. If you look at JD's throw chart, 90% of his attempts are to the right side of the field and short. He's not even looking at half the field! He's running a gimmicky, bullshit RPO high school offense. It's not sustainable. This will not last. Mark it.
