I feel more educated than my maths class😂
Standing waves can be found in many real world examples in science and nature. A plucked guitar string is a simple example of a standing wave. A plucked string emits a particular sound frequency depending on the string length and how taut or dense the string is.
Awesome explanation of why the sweet spot in a cricket bat produces the best shots with the least possible vibration felt by the batsman!
Hats off to BYJU'S
For learning, BYJU'S is the best
IN PHYSICS THE STANDING WAVE IS ALSO KNOWN AS A STATIONARY WAVE.IT IS BASICALLY A WAVE THAT OSCILLATES IN THE RESPECT OF TIME AND PEAKS TO THE HIGHER MOST AMPLITUDAL POINT PROFILE AND DOES NOT MOVE IN SPACE.EXAMPLES ARE PIANO STRINGS,GUITAR STRINGS,MICROWAVE STANDING WAVES,ETC.WHEN THESE TYPE OF INSTRUMENTS ARE PLUCKED THE STRING OF THESE INSTRUMENTS EMIT A PARTICULAR FREQUENCY EMITTING WAVE DEPENDING ON HOW DENSE THE STRING IS AND IN RESPECT OF THE STRING LENGTH.
Very knowledgeable series on science behind cricket ...............amazing video
The sweetest spot sound lovely love you byjus ❤
So interesting to learn than usual
That's sweet & cool!
Awesome explained....
💯💯🤗
I just came after Playing a match and I experienced all that when I hit a six 😁
Love this show
Wonderful 🖤
Very well explained👍👍
Wt a shot..!!!!by byju's
It is good idea to include scientific phenomenon explaining the sport we love.
Absolutely 🤗 BYJU'S is the best learning platform and APP.❤️🙏😊
Amazing Series
I saw this video just beacuse u place rohit sharma's thumbnail. But in entire video there is no rohit sharma's shot.He is greatest timer of cricket ball than any otherelse.

But I Always Like Dhoni Six Clip ....❣️
First comment interesting video
Such waves will be very small that almost any where ball hits will be a sweet spot in itself and ball will go for a six 😂

I am a bit disappointed in this video he didn't said that mass is actually much more concentrated in the sweet spot it wasn't about wave or something. I'm pretty sure this is the reason
Doesnt apply to powerhitters though😂😂
Physics is everything
