    I really take down notes seriously and I loved how colorful your notes were. It is very important to have a lot of solved problems especially for chemical engineering. Great content :)

      Thanks Ghilbert, I've always hated writing notes because I never looked back at them cause they were so messy and not that nice to look at. Once I started adding colours/organizing better it became a lot better for reviewing!

    Really enjoyed this one... And changing the approach to note taking ensures that its not just about doing well in exams but really understanding the content at hand. Most students I included in the past, just do study to pass exams, rather than understanding the concept at hand. Thank you once again.

      @@shawn.builds Hey Shawn! Long time, no commenting (get it?🙃)
      Anyways, I wanted to just ask for your advice with Reactor design.
      Many of my peers (and myself) are struggling with Reactor design.
      Do you have any practical advice on how to conquer it or can you refer to a video where you might have addressed this?
      Does one just have to practice, practice and practice more?
      I would really appreciate it!

    • @shawn.builds
      @shawn.builds  3 роки тому +2

      @@angelphalane399 I'd say reactor design is always really tough and sometimes no matter how hard you study, you'll just get wrecked on the exams because they can make them so hard. i'd say having a deep understanding of the fundamentals is really important, not just knowing the equations but understanding at some level how to derive them. always ask yourself how your professor could make a question harder, either by fusing two problems together, reversing the steps, or by giving you different known values.

What is the next goal that you have in mind that you want to accomplish?

    Ok you seem to be the only established Engineering guy who has made a video about Notes taking, even you have just 24k subs, the space is ruled by medical students. Perhaps it's the nature of the Material we are dealing with, whereas Medical students have to read through Volumes of textual and and at ties diagrammatic info, Engineering students have to Write a Shit Load of equations. Everything starts and stops with equations. And none of the apps like obsidian or remnot are optimized for effectively recognizing equations from handwriting. Remnote does not seem to have handwritten notes recognition capability without which it cannot form contextual links with various equations. Imagine having an app with which you can record entire Thermodynamics in digitally recognised form and then have an app like Obsidian plot a Relational Graph for you to revise everything. Why i am writing here is to initiate conversations about this and a) Either someone could tell me about something that already exists and i am unaware of or b) Come up with a tangible set of deliverables for an app that can do for engineering(basically and Equations heavy subject) students, what Remnote does for Medical students.
