- Beautifully made and highly detailed for its size. The transmitter however feels cheap and clunky. The gyro cannot be switched off and is very twitchy. One minute into its maiden flight, I decided to upgrade the power and electronics using the very good 6G receiver/servo brick used by Eachine in their line of 400mm RC airplanes.

Smart idea to swap the electronics . The plane looks great .
I'd certainly have to agree with your statement about build and detailing. Pity about the EPS, control board and Tx - though the mode 1/2 switching is a plus.

I see Eachine have are releasing a Bf -109 and P-47 .
The Bf-109 is a re-branded Volantex V761 Mini Warbird and should be as good as the others. The P-47 is a re-brand from the Mini Wing Dragon/Mini Cessna series and may suffer from the same crappy electronics as are used in them!

@@adamdennis5249 Yes, release of the P47 is continuously getting pushed back. However, XK has released a P40 Warhawk. I recently got hold of one.
