Kenya ( Mau Mau) fought the British, Mozambique ( Frelimo ) fought the Portuguese, Angola ( MPLA ) and Namibia ( SWAPO ) fought for Liberation. I am Not sure if West African Countries Faught for Liberation or Negotiated - Did West African countries have Liberation Armies against French, Italian or British ?- Did Nigerians fight British ?. If they Did Not - then FORGET IT - They are Not Brave like Kenya Youth and Do Not Have the GUTS LIKE KENYA to CHALLENGES Their Governments instead they JAPPA to Europe, Arab and South Africa ( Hilbrow).

He's free, he was released on the same day of court hearing. He was arrested on the day of photoshoot before budget 1st reading in parliament.
This happened before the bill came up .He’s also attempted other similar things to protest against the government

He is a fighter and regular activist. He has stormed several govn't functions and risked everything, but he has emerged out of them a greater voice. He's a valiant comrade. It is worth noting that in this particular case, he was charged for attempting to disrupt a photo session by the finance minister, right before the Finance Bill that raised storm in Kenya recently and was totally rejected by Kenyans. So, his anger was justified, and it was part of the fuel that doused the Finance Bill. When we lose our fear, they lose their power. Let's keep fighting for a better society and make Africa work for us.

I think that unfortunately, this kind of uprising leads to total collapse of society like after the Arab Spring protests.
The best way would be for our African governments to introduce the necessary socio-economic reforms when it is still time. The Arab Spring and the Kenya case should be waking calls for our current African leaders.
