Yay! The supermarket own brand vegan brand mince is a good replacement for spag bol. Linda McCartney sausages are amazing. The linda McCartney pies are nice and the fry's peppered steak pies are AMAZING! Violife cheese is good if you want grated cheese on top of the spag bol. Accidentally vegan sweets: skittles, party rings, chocolate bourbons, fruit shortcake biscuits, rainbow belts from lidl or aldi, some supermarket jam doughnuts are vegan just google the ingredients list. Ocado have an amazing vegan range. Ben and jerry's do vegan icecream. Stock up on chickpeas, butter beans, ect for curries and chillis. On sandwiches I always have vegan cheese and pickle, chickpea 'tuna' (basically mash up chickpeas with spring onions and mustard and place it on the sandwich (toasted sandwich is even nicer) ALSO tesco free from mayo is AMAZING!!! GOOD LUCK! YOU CAN DO THIS
ALSO, tesco do a vegan mac n cheese if you need a quick on the go meal. It's super easy to make though. Nutritional yeast is amazing you can make cheesey beans with it and it's high in b12 xxxxx
Also sorry lol just thought of something else, have you tried oatly milk? It's really nice! or rice milk and asdas own hot choc and cadburys fredo hot choc is vegan x
It’ll be tricky to figure what is and isn’t vegan to begin with but once you know you know and it makes shopping super simple. Tesco does good vegan cheese and so does Sainsbury’s. Shop around in different supermarkets as Aldi and Asda probably have the least vegan options! Good luck!
Emily Canham check out Taira, she's vegan and has 6 vegan children or emilyveganflower she's got lots of vegan recipes and Liam Anthony/Logan Blake have good vegan livestreams. Lidl has good vegan sausages from Linda McCartney. Pret has vegan options. Domino's or Pizza Hut have vegan pizza. You don't need beans, there's protein in everything. Dried or frozen fruit is nice aswell. Peanut butter on toast is a great use for bread. Get some dried mango in aldi to put you on round Aldi then Asda. Dark chocolate I'd vegan and chilli heatwave doritos and oreos. You can always have meat free days. Sweet n sour or curry or bolognaise or stew whatever you want just without meat. It's called Veganuary.

I’ve been vegan two years and it’s honestly the best decision I’ve ever made and it’s so easy now. You can eat out most places. Zizzis, Wagamamas, Pizza Express, Pizza Hut (best vegan cheese) all have vegan menu’s. Also I know you said you’re close to London in one of your other videos. Some of my favourite places in London are What The Pitta in Box Park in Shoreditch - best vegan kebab ever!!! Also Temple Of Hackney in Hackney do the best mac and cheese and chicken burgers. There’s also Cookies and Scream in Camden who do vegan ice cream, milkshake and cookies and cakes. And if you’re feeling lazy and want something quick, McDonald’s veggie burger is vegan without mayo and Burger King veggie burger is vegan without mayo and cheese! As for food, try Ocado. They have an entire vegan section. It’s a little more expensive but there’s a lot of variety. Tesco is probably second best as they stock the vegan Ben and Jerry’s and have vegan cheese and so many meat alternatives. The best sausage rolls and sausages are by Linda McCartney and they’re sold in every supermarket. This is such a great thing that you’re doing. You’ll feel energised and you’re helping the environment, the animals And, believe it or not, the people who are exploited by animal agriculture. Some good documentaries to watch on Netflix about this are What The Health (which is about health) and conspiracy (which is about the environment). Really opened my eyes. Also Okja is a god film based on selective breeding of animals but it’s really sad so make sure you have tissues to hand!!
Cadburys hot chocolate powder is vegan! If you (or anyone) have any questions about veganism please feel free to message me - @blissfuldais on insta and twitter! Good luck em, you're doing amazing
For me ive found aldi and asda have the least vegan options, sainsburys & tesco have a lott more!! tesco do a lot of vegan cheese (my fave is violife but they have their own brand). You can also get vegan pesto, ben and jerrys, pizza in sainsurys etc. For milk substitutes, soya is good if you like sweetness, cashew is good if you want milk with a thicker texture and oat is good in hot drinks or with porridge. I hope you enjoy being vegan, ive been vegan for 2 years next month and its the best thing ive done
Aldi is good for vegans who know how to cook their own meals from scratch and are creative with recipes.Shop mostly in their produce section and you'll find a ton of great veggies and fruits to use in your meals. If you are vegan most of what you eat is that anyway. Packaged fake meat and cheese is a great way to start but eventually you'll notice you won't even crave those things as much just real food. Check out Caitlin Shoemaker and Tess Begg for vegan ideas. They make some of the BEST nutritious vegan food I've seen on youtube and it's really simple ingredients.
Vitalite is my favourite vegan 'butter' it's so gooood 😍 Oreos are accidentally vegan, so are many types of pringles & there are HUNDREDS of vegan options for snacks 😋 There's a really good thread on Twitter about it x

Oat milk is one of the best vegan milks, goes so so well in tea and foams up to make really good lattes. Quorn unfortunately isn't mostly vegan but there are a few bits and they've got more coming. Most of the Linda McCartney stuff is vegan and also amazing. Flora actually do a vegan butter which is lovely, tastes exactly like normal. Tesco is probably currently the best supermarket for vegans, they do their own mince that's vegan and they've got vegan Ben and Jerry's too - Which is AMAZING. Tesco also normally have full Free From range (somewhere around the dairy / chilled section) and they do yogurts, puddings and cheese too! The Tesco vegan cheese is one of the best vegan cheeses you can get! Have a little research on pinterest too for some recipe inspo which is amazing. Also following people like sweet simple vegan, hot for food and caitlin shoemaker will be a massive help!! ALSO fyi, for hot chocolate, oatly do an amazing chocolate oat milk which you can just heat up and honestly it will change your life!! You got this and just remember that trying is better than nothing!!xxx
Watching earthings, forks over knives, cowspiracy, 101 reasons to go vegan, delaying death with veganism and the best speech you'll ever hear !!! Really recommend then to get educated on veganism and to stick to it !!!!! 💖💖💖💖 Hope it works out for you xx a lot of things that you don't expect to be vegan actually are vegan x you won't miss out on anything, just find the vegan versions ! 🍪🍦☕🍫
The Cadbury drinking chocolate is Vegan ( just make sure its the stir into milk one ). Also go to Tesco, Sainsburys and Morrisons for more vegan alternatives. Linda Mccartney does Vegan sausages plain, rosemary and chorizo and as well as pies. If you aren't a fan of soya milk try vanilla flavoured or hazelnut they are amazing with cereal. Follow my Instagram @WhatIssyeats to find meal ideas, places to eat out and what to buy in the shops
I feel so happy about hearing that you're going vegan ! It's so much better for your body and the whole planet 🌎 ! Go and watch "cowspiracy" and "what the health" on Netflix. I swear, after living some weeks or months a vegan lifestyle, you'll never wanna go back. You'll feel so much better!
they wont contain milk, they just are made in the same facility. its nearly impossible to find foods that are not. its also a warning because of kosher products. oreos are vegan, there just could be cross contamination but that can be anywhere. especially eating in a restaurant where non-vegan foods are :)
youll have an impossible time if you ever go vegan then. everything is made in factories with non vegan items. good luck with that-its not realistic. if you were to go vegan dont eat in restaurants with meat/dairy then either
Guys I just think you can do whatever you want, I just put the option out there if em chooses. I personally class them as vegan as milk is not an actual ingredient but it is perfectly valid not to eat them too, it’s up to the individual but thanks for the heads up ❤️❤️
Emily’s using the terms the charity use, their tag line is even ‘try vegan’. Regardless, I think the main difference is vegans can still eat processed foods whereas plant based don’t (due to health reasons) so mainly eat foods made entirely from scratch.
The quorn chicken fillets are vegan and their BBQ strips. And try Linda Mcartney especially her sausage rolls😀 good luck. It's honestly easier then people think. Try violife for the vegan cheese❤️
I think it's awesome that you're trying this out! A handy tip from a vegan of just over a year, don't just try to find meat replacements, use beans and chickpeas and lentils instead! They are packed with protein and taste delicious! Chickpeas are my favourite legume, I use them in curry, stir fry, hummus, mexican bean dishes, so many things. Also on food labels, look for "Contains: Milk" to avoid having to read the entire ingredient list. Companies have to state allergens separately so milk and egg are quite often in bold at the bottom. Saves you heaps of time! It took me a month to really get into the swing of things so if you are starting to enjoy being vegan by the end of January, please consider keeping it up 😍
If you get the apps on your phone or laptop I.e Tescos, asda etc and type in the search bar vegan if will give you the list of vegan food I did it for 2 weeks once and that was it lol
There's a vegan monthly subscription box called the vegan kind which is great especially if you are just starting the vegan lifestyle! They also have a beauty box. 😘
I’ve been vegan for 2 years and it honestly is the best decision I’ve ever made. I really look up to you (I’m 16) and I’m so proud that you’re trying this out! It may be a little difficult at first but now I eat my food without thinking about it xxxx
You can also still make Yorkshire puddings, heat up some oil in a muffin tin, mix sparkling water with plain flour until the consistency is right and then pour it into the hot oil and cook for about 40 minutes
The good news is it's super easy to find or make vegan versions of just about anything, and supermarkets stock lots of products, and you can find simple recipes online! Most chain restaurants offer vegan options as well. It can take our palate a short period to adjust, but vegan food is delicious!
Emily, I'm so happy you've decided to try this out! I went vegan in September and haven't looked back since. It was the best decision I've ever made! I've seen improvements with my hair, skin and nails. It's amazing. Watch Cowspiracy on Netflix and What the Health, and also "Dairy is scary" youtube video. Once you inform yourself of why you are making these certain food choices you feel a lot more confident when performing it in your day to day life. xxx
Hey girl, some staples you could also buy are bread, pasta, lots of veg, frozen berries. It’s easier to buy stuff that isn’t labelled free from because it’s often accidentally vegan & it’s also probably cheaper xx
Oat milk is the one I've found thats closest to cows milk so that would be good for your cereal and alpro chocolate almond milk or just cadburys hot chocolate powder is vegan jist cheak you get the one without milk powder
Ive never seen your channel before but I love your positive attitude!! I'm six months vegan and I found 'that vegan couple's videos really helpful in figuring out what to eat! Best of luck with veganuary ❤️
A great milk replacement would be oat milk because it doesn’t have that watery taste and tastes quite creamy like normal milk. It tastes rlly good in tea and AMAZING in porridge ❤️❤️
I’m not vegan but I sometimes have vegan meals, the Linda McCartney sausages are fantastic. I reduce an onion to make caramelised onions and make a toasted sandwich with the sausages and onions. It’s amazing even my kids love it xx
Hey Em, i don’t eat dairy, I only occasionally have eggs and good alternatives for butter would be avocado and lime oil spread or sunflower spread, I don’t like soya cheese that much so I wouldn’t eat it by itself, I put it in omelettes and meals that don’t highlight the taste. I drink coconut, almond and soya milk and make smoothies with those milks and juices in. Good chocolate alternatives would be from Sainsbury’s, they have a chocolate orange bar which is dairy free and lots of cakes, biscuits and chocolate that you can have. Ben and Jerry’s have vegan Ice cream that I still need to try!! I haven’t had chocolate, milk, butter, yoghurt or cheese for over a year and Although I do miss the taste of dairy milk or cheddar, I feel so much better about myself now after cutting out dairy, I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my skin!! hoped this helped!! Love you💖💖
Why are people becoming vegan almost as part of a craze and to jump on the hype?? Surely you should become vegan for the ethical reason or dietary reason?
Although the above comments are very true, if someone isn’t doing it for the right reasons then they won’t stick to it. I can guarantee Emily won’t stick to it purely based on her comments towards cheese and meat which I personally wouldn’t class as food
best tip!!!!!!! roast chickpeas with dried mixed herbs, cajun spices, salt and pepper (with chilli or cayenne if you want them spicy) for 20-30mins in the oven on 200C...... I never EVER liked chickpeas until I ate them this way! so good with rice or in salads and buddha bowls etc! even fab cold!!!!! cook until they are crispy on outside but still soft on the outside! the taste like bacon when they're crispy!!! ENJOYYYY
Well done for trying veganuary! In a few days I'll be celebrating 2 years of being vegan which surprises everyone I know because I was the biggest meat/dairy eater before and soso shit at sticking to anything lol. Anyway thought I'd share some tips! For different milk options I recommend using oatly or provitamel oat milk.I know it sounds weird but it's fab. In my opinion it's the most versatile because it tastes good in everything and soya can overpower tea etc because it has quite a strong flavour. Sweetened soya milk is ok in coffee but would not recommend it for tea personally, it just tastes off. I haven't found a butter replacement but I use the "pure" spread and it tastes really good in mashed potato. Cadbury's hot chocolate is vegan! The instant isn't but normal one is and again, so much better with oat milk than soya milk. You can still do spag bol/chilli/shepherds pie with soya mince. Quorn mince has egg white in it but supermarket own doesn't. Cheaper than meat and so much healthier too! Dried pasta is pretty much always vegan and you can easily make a white source by replacing the butter/milk with dairy free alternatives. Loads of cereals are "accidentally vegan" or you can make banana oat pancakes by just using dairy free milk, banana and oats (would recommend blending first to make a flour) and serve it with berries/peanut butter. Avo toast is another fave. Also aldi do loads of superfood powders like spirulina which is 66% protein and you only need a teaspoon of it in a smoothie so you can't taste it but it's so good for you. Sorry this comment is an actual joke it's so long but I hope it helps! Hope this doesn't come across preachy because honestly just trying to eat a little bit more plant based helps a lot.
I’ve never heard anyone having cucumber dipped in ketchup now I need to try it. Best of luck with the journey, being vegan is only as difficult as you make it and there are a lot of videos out there to inspire you. The beginning can actually be really exciting finding new recipients and foods to make, have fun with it!
❤️❤️I went vegan when I was 13 I'm now 15 in the beginning it was hard but what kept me going was listening to a speech by Gary y(I don't know how to spell it 😅) correct me if I'm wrong but your from the UK if so you should Google "my vegan supermarket" this website has helped me so much good luck with you journey ❤️❤️Cadbury hot chocolate is vegan by the way
if you're worried about eating out, try looking on the veganuary website they have a huge massive list of everywhere in the uk that has vegan options, plus so many are adding even more every day!! so great to see someone promoting this and being so positive about it!! for the animals, the environment and peace!!!
Coconut cream is a good cream, chocolate nesquik is vegan, the free from chocolate bars are 🙌🏻. Also like just gotta check, generally the home brand of margarine is vegan, depending in the store.
it's so good that you're spreading the message of veganism on such a huge platform! Well done Emily and good luck with your veganuary! I was vegan for 2 years and looking to get back into it so this is super helpful!!! Xx
This is so good because me and my friend are vegetarian and are planning to become vegans so this was a good video to learn from xx I’m so proud of u Emily ♥️♥️♥️💍💍💍💍
This is so exciting! I was a fuzzy eater as well, but actually after going vegan I became more experimental with my food and now I love a huge variety of vegan foods. I am so happy that you are even trying this, I don’t live in the UK (I’m from Norway) so I can’t give you any tips on where to shop. But good luck on your journey! 🙌🏼
I noticed you had a fajita kit. Mexican food is actually so easy to make and buy vegan. Would really recommend trying to make burrito bowls, it's like what it sounds like, a burrito without the wrap and you can pack it full of your favourite veggies, there's plenty of recipes out there and perfect for if you're a picky eater because you can make it how you like it :) Good luck!
Charlotte wow, hold on. She’s just starting out. I didn’t even start to change my cosmetics until I was 6 months into veganism and even now I still have non-vegan cosmetics and clothing. I have several leather jackets that I got pre-vegan or second hand as a vegan. Just let the girl breathe and figure this out for herself. She doesn’t have to give anything up that she currently owns.
This isn’t very incouraging u make it sound like she has to miss out on designer bags don’t think u meant it in a bad way u could of maybe said there are some other brands that are cruelty free instead of making it look like she has to sacrifice all these things when u begin it feels like ur giving up everything you love and u can feel bad at times and this comment doesn’t necessarily help incourage her and she can still use the ones she bought just not buy anymore. I Mean why would she want a dead animals skin on her
Dakota hey but at the moment faux leather is plastic and nationally we have a massive plastics crisis of plastics returning to the ocean a lot of sea life are dying especially whales and dolphins from plastic poisoning the milk. Also I and Emily live in England this means it is hard to farm high protein foods without using air miles which pollute the earth with greenhouse gases.I am vegetarian and avoid milk as much as possible.
Also I don’t think there is a diet that is completely safe for animals and humans because if the world was vegan our lands would be malnourished and there are so many selfish people in the world who would give land for their animals without growing beans for vegans???
Would u rather skin an animal that is alive sometimes in the process or use a bit of plastic answer me that this is about doing as little harm as you can and using plastic is
Substitute your milk to almond and oat, they're the most like dairy milk. You can make spag Bol with domino sauce and lots of veggies and soya mince! And some garlic breads use garlic oil instead of garlic butter just always check the back! I can't wait for you to keep vlogging your journey omg
it really does get easier getting to know what you can/can’t have. also don’t be put off by vegan cheese, i used to LOVE cheese and the Sainsbury’s Greek style is just as amazing 😍
Your local independent health food stores will have loads of vegan foods! its so easy to be vegan nowadays, my fave cook book is 15 minute vegan, the best milk for tea is sojade soya, the best milk for coffee is oatly barista, and the best vegan butter for cooking is TOMOR, the best vegan chocolate bar is Vego, Ombar and Loving Earth, Pizza Express does a great vegan pizza i prefer it to Zizzi's, make sure you're eating loads of leafy greens for your amino acids and iron
Emily Canham who taught you to drive?? Did they not tell you about ‘quarter to three’ hand placement? There’s a lot of damage caused on the roads due to lack of care and attention when driving, not hating just passionate in reducing incidents on our roads :)
7 years ago when I made the best decision of my life to go v-gang (to quote Willi.i.am!), I also gained new interests and hobbies - besides cooking (which I thought I could never do, but I proved myself wrong within 2 months) and looking for recipes and vegan information (books/videos/attending Vegfests), now I get excited whenever I get to go to a (new) supermarket and discover their vegan items. I noticed these past 2 years, the number of vegan items is increasing so fast, it is truly amazing and exciting (though I am now on a whole food plant based diet, but I still love seeing the words vegan printed on all kinds of foods and household products).
I'm not vegan but I do eat some vegetarian/ vegan options. I like Asda's own meat free mince and meatballs. If you haven't already you should try falafel too I love them. I buy a mix you just mix with water and roll into balls then bake-the brand is called Granose in Asda. Pretty sure they're all vegan.
Also make your own tomato sauce is so easier and so much better for you than jars. Less salt sugar etc. Tinned tomatoes, tomato purée, herbs, garlic and nutritional yeast. Easy and healthy.
Hey em, I tried it last year and I found Sainsbury’s really handy because the products say vegan on the label, and if you go on the websites you get lists of all their plant based diet products x
Koko milk is the best for tea! I use it for everything. It does get easier. I've been vegan for nearly 2 years and it's the best thing ever, food becomes exciting and you get so excited when you discover new stuff and how amazing it is. This is great 👏🏼🙌🏼 X
I don’t know if you already did, but I think it is crucial to maintaining a vegan lifestyle, that you inform yourself on all of the reasons why people are vegan. Watch some documentaries like Earthlings, Forks over Knives, What the Health, Cowspiracy. These will keep you vegan. Some things you just can’t unsee and if you open your eyes to the horrible reality that is animal agriculture then you’ll never be able to go back. I’m really happy you are doing this “experiment“ and I hope you’ll stick to it. I’ve been vegan for three years and the only regret I have is that I didn’t do it sooner.
Sainsbury’s are also participating in Venganury, they’re releasing loads of new vegan friendly products. Tesco are doing vegan Ben and jerrys and a vegan garlic bread.
Yay! The supermarket own brand vegan brand mince is a good replacement for spag bol. Linda McCartney sausages are amazing. The linda McCartney pies are nice and the fry's peppered steak pies are AMAZING! Violife cheese is good if you want grated cheese on top of the spag bol. YES the Linda McCartney pies are incredible 😍 The mushroom ones are my favourite, I wish they were cheaper but they're a nice treat!
Adele Parli I know they’re so expensive aren’t they 😩🙊 I only found them about a month ago save them for treat days lol! Xxxx
Adele Parli love your hair colour by the way! X
It’ll be tricky to figure what is and isn’t vegan to begin with but once you know you know and it makes shopping super simple. Tesco does good vegan cheese and so does Sainsbury’s. Shop around in different supermarkets as Aldi and Asda probably have the least vegan options! Good luck!
Madeleine Olivia thanks so much lovely!
Madeleine Olivia oh I know when I first became vegan I didn’t know butter was not vegan lol so I realised a bit late but we live and learn
Madeleine does great recipe videos btw Emily Super easily to follow too :)

Sainsbury’s is the best for vegan, it even has dairy free mac n cheese!

Vitalite is amazing
That emoji girl thanks so much for the suggestions!
Can you link me the twitter thread? Or tell me who posted it?
yes, vitalite is the best tasting marg, it's the only one that tastes decent on toast

Follow my Instagram @WhatIssyeats to find meal ideas, places to eat out and what to buy in the shops
aldi are bringing a whole vegan range to their stores

:)
Loving all the vegan love in the comment section ✅💚
Oat milk is closer to dairy milk but I drink either unsweetened soy or coconut milk
Oat milk isnt too bad I dont think!! x
Emily Canham not at all, I think the colour puts people off buying it because your cup of teas never look right😂x
Vanilla pea milk is delicious
I really appreciate your open mindedness with this. It’s so refreshing. ❤️❤️
Lots of peanut butters are vegan. Oreos are vegan x lotus biscoff buiscuits ans spread are vegan x
Oreos are a bit off an iffy thing because Oreos May contain milk as they are made in the same factory where milk is produced.
they wont contain milk, they just are made in the same facility. its nearly impossible to find foods that are not. its also a warning because of kosher products. oreos are vegan, there just could be cross contamination but that can be anywhere. especially eating in a restaurant where non-vegan foods are :)
I am vegetarian but if I were to go vegan I wouldn’t eat Oreos as they arnt specifies as vegan
youll have an impossible time if you ever go vegan then. everything is made in factories with non vegan items. good luck with that-its not realistic. if you were to go vegan dont eat in restaurants with meat/dairy then either
Guys I just think you can do whatever you want, I just put the option out there if em chooses. I personally class them as vegan as milk is not an actual ingredient but it is perfectly valid not to eat them too, it’s up to the individual but thanks for the heads up ❤️❤️
Family Fizz is a great vegan family that have some good cooking videos etc, I like to watch them and they have some great tips and things xxxxx
Hannah Smith #FizzFam #ShareTheSmiles ❤️
Kylie Marie #fizzfam #familyfizz #toooobyyyyyyy ♥️
Yes!!
Hannah Smith oh I watch them and check out taira on UA-cam love their family
Toooooby
Vegan =no food from animals and no cruelty products
Plantbased =no food from animals
I think Emily is plantbased she just doesn't know the difference.
floral forever exactly
Also vegan is not wearing animals
I understand you want to clarify the terms but I think it can be discouraging. Eating plant based for a month is already a big step :)
Emily’s using the terms the charity use, their tag line is even ‘try vegan’. Regardless, I think the main difference is vegans can still eat processed foods whereas plant based don’t (due to health reasons) so mainly eat foods made entirely from scratch.
shannonheartsx no the main difference is that vegans are also cruelty free and don’t wear animals like leather it’s not really about processed food.
I hope this converts you forever M. It will truly change your life, i promise! ✨
:)
love you!!
The quorn chicken fillets are vegan and their BBQ strips. And try Linda Mcartney especially her sausage rolls😀 good luck. It's honestly easier then people think. Try violife for the vegan cheese❤️
Gemma Brohan i love the sausage rolls and her cheese and leek plaits (im vegetarian)
Yeah the sausage rolls are amazing!! 😀❤️
I yhought quorn had eggs in it
I think it's awesome that you're trying this out!
This is a great idea. I'm vegetarian. I might go vegan too
There's a vegan monthly subscription box called the vegan kind which is great especially if you are just starting the vegan lifestyle! They also have a beauty box. 😘
Thanks so much! X
Oreos, party rings & most pringals are all vegan!!!😛
WOOO
Sainsbury's has the best free from range!!
I'll have to have a visit! X
I’ve been vegan for 2 years and it honestly is the best decision I’ve ever made. I really look up to you (I’m 16) and I’m so proud that you’re trying this out! It may be a little difficult at first but now I eat my food without thinking about it xxxx
This is very exciting!!✨
Natalie Joanne wooowoo
Natalie Joanne my g 🙌
Natalie Joanne The
loved this em! you shouting 'vegan!' when you were doing your shopping killed me 😂😂
if you want quality vegan food shop online at ocado or just go into waitrose. My favourite vegan butter is called pure xx
I’ve been vegetarian for 6 years and recently turned vegan starting January 1st, I’ve found it surprisingly easy so far!! Good luck xxx
I love that em doesn’t wear makeup everyday but still looks stunning😍😍❤️
Joni Smith she is wearing makeup ...
Don’t think so, she fake tanned I think, but I meant like she films main channel videos as well without makeup
Joni Smith yeah it’s just fake tan she’s not wearing makeup
You can also still make Yorkshire puddings, heat up some oil in a muffin tin, mix sparkling water with plain flour until the consistency is right and then pour it into the hot oil and cook for about 40 minutes
Em do you have a microphone on?😊
The good news is it's super easy to find or make vegan versions of just about anything, and supermarkets stock lots of products, and you can find simple recipes online! Most chain restaurants offer vegan options as well. It can take our palate a short period to adjust, but vegan food is delicious!
You should try oat milk in tea and hot drinks because it tastes the most like normal milk ❤️
Once you inform yourself of why you are making these certain food choices you feel a lot more confident when performing it in your day to day life. xxx
Tesco do vegan cheese, yogurt, butter and really good vegan burgers
I tried the cheese, wasnt that impressed:((
Hey girl, some staples you could also buy are bread, pasta, lots of veg, frozen berries. It’s easier to buy stuff that isn’t labelled free from because it’s often accidentally vegan & it’s also probably cheaper xx
You need to try Linda McCartney sausages and pie!! Literally tastes like meattttt and is delicious
Also crumpets and oreos are vegan!!
I AM INLOVE WITH THE LINDA SAUSAGES!!
This is amazing Emily! I’ve been vegan for 4 years now and I’ve never felt better. This is a great example to set to your followers X
You should try Alpro soya chocolate milk (vegan).. It's soo good!!
I’ve had that since I was tiny and I love it!!
Haven't tried that but I'll add it to my list!!
Thanks! X
I’m not vegan but I LOVE the alpro soya chocolate milk
SO GOOD!!!
A great milk replacement would be oat milk because it doesn’t have that watery taste and tastes quite creamy like normal milk. It tastes rlly good in tea and AMAZING in porridge ❤️❤️
You need to watch Sophia and Cinzia's channel, they're vegan and can eat loads of nice things you wouldn't expect
Leah Stanley om I’m gonna check them out after this I’m vegan x
you really should yaay, they're so funny as well! they did a vegan Q&A
Yaaaas I love them two !!
I actually love them, they got me on Vegan Chicken nuggets
Megan same here! Prefer vegan chicken nuggets to real ones 😂
I’m not vegan but I sometimes have vegan meals, the Linda McCartney sausages are fantastic. I reduce an onion to make caramelised onions and make a toasted sandwich with the sausages and onions. It’s amazing even my kids love it xx
try the Linda Mccartney mozzarella burgers! They are to die for!
Love you💖💖
cadbury hot chocolate is vegan
most garlic bread is vegan too, (fresh rather than frozen) just check the ingredients! :)
omg I didn't know that! I'll have to check it out next time I go grocery shopping... I have been craving it
For the vegan hot chocolate just mix 2-3 teaspoons of cocoa or cacao powder with dairy free milk and maple/agave syrup xx
:)
Why are people becoming vegan almost as part of a craze and to jump on the hype?? Surely you should become vegan for the ethical reason or dietary reason?
Doesn’t really matter, people are making a positive difference regardless of reasons :)
Although the above comments are very true, if someone isn’t doing it for the right reasons then they won’t stick to it. I can guarantee Emily won’t stick to it purely based on her comments towards cheese and meat which I personally wouldn’t class as food
Gabrielle Gionet I definitely hope so😁
best tip!!!!!!! roast chickpeas with dried mixed herbs, cajun spices, salt and pepper (with chilli or cayenne if you want them spicy) for 20-30mins in the oven on 200C...... I never EVER liked chickpeas until I ate them this way! so good with rice or in salads and buddha bowls etc! even fab cold!!!!! cook until they are crispy on outside but still soft on the outside! the taste like bacon when they're crispy!!!
ENJOYYYY
pizza express do a vegan pizza!
Amelia and it’s delicious!
This video was bombbbbbb
:DDD
In the ingredients on food packages, it normally says egg or something in bold to help you see if it’s vegan or not quickly💗
Apparently vegan ice cream is really nice.
yess it is
Alice Philippa it is lovely tastes like normal ice cream I have the alpro one
Yeah if you are in the states, trader joes has some really good soy based ice cream.
❤️❤️I went vegan when I was 13 I'm now 15 in the beginning it was hard but what kept me going was listening to a speech by Gary y(I don't know how to spell it 😅) correct me if I'm wrong but your from the UK if so you should Google "my vegan supermarket" this website has helped me so much good luck with you journey ❤️❤️Cadbury hot chocolate is vegan by the way
OMG really? Happy to know the cadbury's hot chocolate is vegan... even though I'm no vegan.
Gary yourofsky? I went vegan in 2016 thanks to him, and he kept me going! Definitely worth a watch
if you're worried about eating out, try looking on the veganuary website they have a huge massive list of everywhere in the uk that has vegan options, plus so many are adding even more every day!! so great to see someone promoting this and being so positive about it!! for the animals, the environment and peace!!!
There's Quorn vegan fish fingers that taste just like fish!
I have just brought them cant wait to try them!!! X
Coconut cream is a good cream, chocolate nesquik is vegan, the free from chocolate bars are 🙌🏻. Also like just gotta check, generally the home brand of margarine is vegan, depending in the store.
Check out the accidentallyveganuk page on instagram! You can also still eat from McDonald’s, fries and the veggie burgers without mayo are vegan :)
Daisy Fuentes depends if u care about cross contamination
Liybah Tabasam Alam there is no cross contamination in these things as they’re fried separately.
Daisy Fuentes oh I never knew that I think a few years back they fried them together
it's so good that you're spreading the message of veganism on such a huge platform! Well done Emily and good luck with your veganuary! I was vegan for 2 years and looking to get back into it so this is super helpful!!! Xx
This is so good because me and my friend are vegetarian and are planning to become vegans so this was a good video to learn from xx I’m so proud of u Emily ♥️♥️♥️💍💍💍💍
i really like this style video and i love the chatty bits in the car. more like this please !! Xx
I'm vegetarian, but I would like to go vegan.
😄
i didnt ask
This is so exciting! I was a fuzzy eater as well, but actually after going vegan I became more experimental with my food and now I love a huge variety of vegan foods.
I am so happy that you are even trying this, I don’t live in the UK (I’m from Norway) so I can’t give you any tips on where to shop. But good luck on your journey! 🙌🏼
“I don’t really like bread 🥖”😂
hahahahaha
SO GLAD YOU'RE DOING THIS!!!!
Pesto usually isn't vegan 💕
It was from the free from section
Pesto isn't even vegetarian
I noticed you had a fajita kit. Mexican food is actually so easy to make and buy vegan. Would really recommend trying to make burrito bowls, it's like what it sounds like, a burrito without the wrap and you can pack it full of your favourite veggies, there's plenty of recipes out there and perfect for if you're a picky eater because you can make it how you like it :) Good luck!
Emily vegan is a lifestyle say goodbye to you designer bags and boots your attempting a plant based diet and have you really researched this ❤️❤️
Charlotte wow, hold on.
I love u soooooo...... muchhh
it really does get easier getting to know what you can/can’t have. also don’t be put off by vegan cheese, i used to LOVE cheese and the Sainsbury’s Greek style is just as amazing 😍
‘Thats not my sausage its the dogs!! 😂😂😂’
I couldn’t be doing with all that vegan malarkey, i bet your gagging for a meat feast pizza 🙊
Michael Donington literally my favourite comment ever!!!
I wish you would steer properly when driving 😬
I do ahah?! There’s not a specific way you’re supposed to hold the wheel lol
Emily Canham who taught you to drive?? Did they not tell you about ‘quarter to three’ hand placement? There’s a lot of damage caused on the roads due to lack of care and attention when driving, not hating just passionate in reducing incidents on our roads :)
Your videos are sooo good!!!🤩💕
Doesn’t pasta have egg in?!?❤️
Chloe J not unless it's fresh. :)
i wouldnt want to eat any of your pasta
Chloe J some pasta is vegan some are not you just need to check the label
Most dryer pastas are vegan fresh normally has egg and milk just check 99%of the time it’s vegan tho
Tescos white pitta bread are vegan, loads of bread is vegan, warburtons toastie bread is! Also Tesco pasta in the blue packaging is vegan
Such a natural beauty inside and out ✨
I’m exited to watch this, it’s something I take full interest in is becoming vegan.
Also I’m SO happy to have a video off of my FAV💫xxxx
This is amazing! Thank you for sharing! You have a huge following and this will really help the community out by spreading your message!!
I'm so glad you are doing this!! I recommend doing research and watch documentaries cause that will help you make the connection and last longer
Who just loves watching Emily’s video all the time
Alesha Rashid she’s so beautiful
Hey em, I tried it last year and I found Sainsbury’s really handy because the products say vegan on the label, and if you go on the websites you get lists of all their plant based diet products x
For eating out, Bella Italia has loads of vegan food options and Pizza express and Pizza hut have vegan pizzas !
so excited to see this because I am also the FUSSIEST eater ever! Like no pasta no fancy foods nothing only mash and gravy and meat
