Great episode. I have a soft spot for monkeybone but I do wish that selick had been able to make it more like the comic. On the confusion of the creatures in down town on the concept art and some behind the scenes there ment to be mythological gods and creatures who are basically slumming it in downtown as no one in the real world is scared of them or thinks on them. So kitty is probably ment to be bast the Egyptian cat goddess the bull the minotaur etc.and there was a concept art for a scene where stu went into the theater and watches a nightmare and some of the creatures get energy from the nightmare and start to change into a more full form which also lends to why the town Sends Monekybone into the real world. I think in order to see what the original idea for the movie is and especially the comic story since kaja told Henry what would have happened is if someone finds the early drafts of the movie. So far only the 8th and 9th drafts by sam ham are available I think if someone finds those early drafts the story might be alot better and it would give some sense where the comic was going. With that info I think some of the ideas (Monkeybone going into stu body, some of the denizens of down town, hypnos etc) Might be stuff that was stuff that was altered from those early drafts which where things that might had been planned for the comic. A good episode on a badly mishandled film.

@@comicbookmovieoblivion no problem loved the episode
Since Disney/fox are on a reboot and remake mood, they should let Henry remake Monkeybone to what it was meant to be. Kaja Blackley Dark Town
